Football (Played with Feet)

Sounded like we played well again, it's always nice to see the under 21's play because they play with heart and actually want to play for their country. That all seems to slowly slip away when they get into the 1st squad  :(

Massive win for us last night! The first time they've been beaten at home, in the CL, since 2002 (i think)

Moyes made some big changes but we looked like the UTD i'm used to seeing play! :D Big match for us this weekend!

On another note, FIFA have put out their rankings again and they actually make sense! England are down to 13th but Scotland are up to 33rd!

1 Spain 1507 (1)

2 Germany 1318 (2)

3 Argentina 1251 (3)

4 Colombia 1200 (4)

5 Portugal 1172 (14)

6 Uruguay 1132 (6)

7 Italy 1120 (8)

8 Switzerland 1113 (7)

9 Netherlands 1106 (8)

10 Brazil 1102 (11)

I don't pay much attention to the World Rankings in football as they usually seem flawed (England in 4th a few months ago - DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH!) but the current top 10 are all very decent international sides.  I think Belgium could prove a stern challenge to make significant headway in football over the next few years so I'd watch out for them.  The more England drop down; the less hope they have of crucial seedings in the future so we really need to make ground in Rio next year else we'll be in groups of dealth for the foreseeable...

England are perfectly capable of coming out on top of that group, if we do or not is a totally different story...

How about France, struggled to qualify and get a very comfortable group...

What's Brazils time difference? What local time can we expect games?

United... I hope you loose Rooney, Evra, Nani and RvP in Jan to better clubs...

Liverpool with another win today. 3 own goals in this game? Or was it 4?

City with a draw and Chelski losing to Stoke. Looking good for Arsenal at home tomorrow!
