We're a laughing stock and Spurs fans laying blame at Levy's penny pinching 😭

Hard to compete against what they offer however you do have UCL this season so I did expect some to come to Spurs now Franck is in charge. Levy needs to stick with him for longer than a season though....

Spurs are actually looking class so far @phil bottle, gonna be an interesting season I hope if they can keep it up, city will be in the mix, chelsea probably will be as well and I don’t see any way liverpool or arsenal aren’t involved in the top 3. could be one hell of a tight title challenge this year

I totally agree, there's a lot of strong teams this season with a lot of cash being splashed on players, with probably more to come before the window closes next Monday.

Arsenal and Liverpool probably fighting it out for top spot, with Chelsea, Man City, Newcastle, Spurs and Maybe Forest in the mix again for the rest of the top 6.

I would have said Villa and Man Utd too but they both look a little off the pace so far.

Thomas the Frank Engine has done a good job so far for Spurs, he's even getting the best out of Richarlison....and I think we'll do a little better than last years 17th place 🤪

It's going to be a very interesting season and I think Arsenal's depth could be key for them but it'll be interesting to see where Liverpool are at with some big departures and incomings. Chelsea aren't quite there yet but they should be better placed to compete for top 4 and Man City will be up there but I can't see them winning it or even getting near the top 3. At the other end, I think West Ham are going to have a very challenging season but for the first time in a very long time, I think the promoted sides may be better placed to survive unlike previous years.

Unbelievable pressure for Arteta to deliver this season though - over £1bn spent in his tenure and still only the FA Covid Cup to show for it and that was with Emery's squad. I don't even think the FA Cup and League Cup would be good enough to suffice - it has to be the League and/or the Champions League. Not many teams blow through that sort of rate and win less than Leicester. City were nailing the treble off the back of multiple titles and trophies in which Arteta played a huge part in that with Pep so the expectations will be insane but I think they are well-placed this year to do something.
