Wait... you gotta feed chickens in this game?

Farming with guns?

maybe I will check it out

Luke 23:34
'And Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they don't think it be like it is, but it do."

Patch notes for the update today

STORE.STEAMPOWERED.COM

The North Line Train has arrived, prepare for extraction.

Fine.... Once things calm down over here, I will grab this...

we need more farm games with guns.

Luke 23:34
'And Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they don't think it be like it is, but it do."

So thinking of downloading this today (Friday).

Fairly new to PVP type extraction games, so don't really know what to expect, but I am finding a lot of games stale and too formulaic at the moment, so need something different.

Will probably be a weekend game with some week nights due to working patterns.

Ps5 player, using a Steelseries headset and possibly in the future a dual sense edge (just for thr custom button profiles mainly)

Edit: Played for a couple of hours this afternoon,  loving it!!

New map is really weird - seems to be exclusively indoors.  I also ran into a lot of players along the way but thankfully everything was nice and peaceful. I think this place will encourage more PvP action so other areas will hopefully be less combative. I've had 12/12 extractions today and only go into one combat encounter.

Went on with @Diddums Friday night and was amazed at his patience! 😃

I'm enjoying it so far but have stuck to the Dam map mostly. Only been killed by another player once so far. As those of you who know me well I have died more than once ! 🤣

Main strategy so far has been to expand the stash as much as possible, unlock all the work benches.

It's a beautiful game to play, AAA at a bargain price and reminds me of Destiny in many ways... daily quests, scavenging, equipment upgrades, etc.

It'll be interesting to see how many FG players will use the wipe option.

I see Shroud is playing and topping the leaderboard but also discovering some sad news.....

I'll be getting on this when real life lets me.

Thanks again @Diddums ... he's your man for a dog collar for your chicken!! 🤣

I reached level 20 last night with 50 successful extractions. I have my gear and gunsmith bench at level 2 plus scrappy at 3. I did a fair few quests yesterday and manged to unlock some achievements including returning to Speranza when downed after I got into a firefight at the exit whilst it was opening, downed the culprit, then got downed by an ARC and we both ended up crawling hilariously to the lift! Also flying through live event earning merits plus unlocking Raider decks with the credits. There's always plenty to do and work towards.

Today I will do the daily challenges plus I need to broaden my horizons and try and discover new loot required for some of the level 2 benches. I'll probably need to increase my stash to beyond 200 because it is piling up and a lot of stuff, even the basics, you may still require down the line for things like upgrading weapons or simple attachments.

Tagging @GazzaGarratt as I want to talk about how people are playing this. Lee frustrated the hell out of me last night being completely unaware of his surroundings and going for loot first which in one round led to us being shot at by other players & me getting stamped on by a leaper.

I very much play this game cautiously, being fully aware of what is going on in and around where I am exploring first and then I will try to find what I jumped into a game for whatever item or quest that may be. I am almost always turning my camera looking in the sky, listening out for the machines as what can being as one machine catching you out can very quickly due to the noise of combat draw in others and result in you being quickly overrun. To me that is great as the danger is there and every encounter can quickly go South.

My frustration with you Lee last night was that you were busy looting when @LordBaguette had just said a couple of times that he was being shot at by raiders, at that point for me it turns the game from a looter into a survival PvP game. That flicks a switch in my head and suddenly you should be playing the game differently and on trios you need your squad otherwise you quickly get overrun but I have a vivid image of you being quite exposed, looting a vehicle with your back to the direction the gunfire was coming from. There is no point picking up loot to be shot in the back because you won't then be extracting with it anyway!

I think what it taught me last night is that even when you are part of a squad, don't expect your squad to have your back and going forwards if there are enemies I will be getting into cover or getting out of there and potentially leaving Lee with all his loot to fend for himself. 😄

And we won't get into the fact we had a bombarder right next to us at the church destroying everyone, Lee decides to ignore it and climb up the church anyway to complete his objective not really knowing what he was doing or looking for and Tom decided to attack & kill one of the raiders who were being friendly and fighting it. Only for a few minutes later for said raider to kill him whilst he was reviving Lee who had fallen from the church because he was too fekkin impatient to wait for us to deal with the bombarder first!

I love how raged you were 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I get it, and in fairness I like to play in a group together in the main. It reminds me of Destiny and these little things is where it just shows people play in different ways. I've always been a person that has objectives, but will always be happy to help others first. The way the game is made is if I have no objectives, opening a few boxes, which essentially is the playloop, shouldn't be any issue. In some ways it can be funny why i'm such a magpie over little things.

That game was hilarious but also reminded me that i'm extremely new to the game and still played far less than others. I'm going where I'm told - this one was the tower you told me to go for. I pressed a button downstairs and asked a few times what to do up top but no one answered or knew. There was no interactional buttons either. By then the big Bombardier was agro'd and then somehow blows 2 massive missiles at me for no reason! 🤣 I get downed once, and then fall down again.

In the meantime, Tom goes and does the real dirty on the players next to us, sends them raging, only for one left to nail his ass reviving me 🤣 I mean, I had a free loadout and no way I was gonna take down that Bombardier with no guns or stuff....unless I looted! 🤣

I love the way @Diddums plays this tbh. You want to go after everyones objectives, but sometimes random shit happens and that makes the memories and experiences to remember. Plus he's not concerned about dying and once you let go of that risk/reward part, knowing you can get straight back in to the game in 1 minute, it actually becomes more enjoyable.

Plus we get to have this ridiculous car crash memory now, mainly cos Tom agro'd some nice 'Don't Shoot' guys and they rinsed us back! 🤣🤣🤣

Just another point on this. Its totally fair to have a usual playstyle and I like we all have a certain way naturally to play this game. Again, just like Destiny, the main winner of this lasting is for us all to have the ability to be flexible in a moments notice and play different ways. I can definitely do that. If we need to be serious and make sure we nail a few objectives next round or do nothing other than the one objective, as long as its clear at the start, I'd be more than happy to get behind the cause 🔥
