    Depends on how you set your controller up Mike. If you opt for Veteran it's very similar to the standard setup for the BF3 with the PS3, I can only assume it's the same for the 360. Vehicle controls are the most noticeable difference for me, it's not a deal breaker and I'm still finding my way around them as I level attachments etc.... Does anyone know how the hell you deploy a Battlepack on the PS3?

    Unlocked the Scar H for the Assault class this morning, beast of gun!! Reminds me of how good this gun was in MW2

    Managed to get a couple of matches in early evening, killed some fucker and got a message which simply said "uberlagger" didn't have the heart to point out that this is a Beta and not really my fault!!

    Socrates, one of the greatest Brazilian midfielders of all time was a 40 a day man, just saying. Seriously though, Wilshere's being a bit of an idiot, the physical condition of players these days is the highest it's ever been, smoking won't do him any favours, from health or profile point of view. Can't you tell I've been smoke free for a week, with all this preaching!!

    I used to match fish in the UK, totally different methods to those used by yourself Steve, but was great fun. The social aspect was also good. Nice vid that man. Always good to take a look back once in a while and remember the times that made you feel happiest.

    The 2 Arsenal boys are unavailble unfortunately, Milner shouldn't even be considered for England anymore imo. You're right though, there's no width in this squad. Will be interested to see if he gives Andros Townsend a punt. I'd like to see Wilshere and Cleverley get a run of games in playing together. Defoe and Sturridge are on fire at the moment so wouldn't mind seeing them pair up with Rooney slotting just behind them, and Welbeck has great golascoring form for Engand. The defense should be good enough with the choices we have, I just hope Hodgson has the balls to put a team that should win these 2 games!

    I don't suffer with insomnia as a rule, but when I travel to China for work I really struggle. The biggest issue for me, is the fact that I get myself wound up because I can't sleep and it just ends up as a downwards spiral meaning I end up not sleeping at all. However, I can safely say that staring at a screen, whether it be online or a tv is the worst thing you can do! A friend gave me some Melatonin before one of my trips and that seemed to work well.

    Still not had chance to give this a proper run out yet. Managed to get on for about 20 minutes last night and spent most of time chopping and changing the controls to get my head around everything. Did mess about with some of the Levolution features, rasing the bollards on the bridge, opening and closing the shutters in the store near "B". Also noticed that the TTK was very quick considering it was Core mode and made it feel more like HC, so if this is the case I may just start playing Core again, something which I don't really like that much in BF3. Will need to see how this pans out when the game is released. Got caught out several times when trying to check the scoreboard and kept bringing up Battlelog, but that isn't really an issue. Guns didn't feel too bad from what little I played. Won't get another chance until Friday night now as I'm out tonight. Didn't get much chance to mess around in vehicles, but kept getting frustrated because they've changed the exit vehicle button layout. For me, they should keep the same layout as BF3 for MBT's at least.

    Not sure what you're saying there Patrick. I've got access to the Beta already being Premium on PS3, just haven't played it yet. I've £40 worth of Amazon gift vouchers waiting to be spent. I know what i want, but just wanted some game time on the Beta before spending them. I know I won't get the disc until release day in Europe at best, which incidently is after the US (not sure about Canada), so I'm all good really.

    Yeah I read that, what a git for telling you what you did! I've got £40 of Amazon vouchers from Father's Day that I've been keeping for this game, so once I've had a go on the Beta I'll be placing my pre order. The only trouble is, it will be for the PS3, can't see me getting a PS4 in the near future and I really want to play this game.

    How are you finding the gameplay Ryan? I've read a lot of complaints about the controller layout, how are you getting on with it?

    If it's anything like the BF3 Beta, stats are reset before the game is launched. Not a bad thing in some ways imo.

    Traffic, kids, the missus and fucking tv programmes conspired to stop me even getting a fucking single game in after downloading this last night, as you can probably tell I'm NOT FUCKING HAPPY!! @ Euan, yes you can call me a grumpy bugger this time!
