    I think the core gameplay and characters can be the same but there's no reason for armour and guns to be the same as before, the classes are all new and so are the stats. You used the term variants isn't that saying they will be different? The thread is about what to keep from destiny 1 ..personally in gear terms very little. Via the FG App

    I have to agree about bones of eao for the hunter but from what I saw in the beta the hunter just became unemployed. As for anything else I'd rather just have all new, I played the shit out of destiny 1 I don't want to grind for the same stuff, however knowing bungie new stuff will feel and probably look like old stuff with a new name .     Last new film I watched was Logan , I was really looking forward to it but it was just over hyped and run of the mill. I have been watching mostly old movies recently as it seems decent new movies are few and far between probably due to re-boots, endless marvel and other franchises churning out dross and the fact that due to political correctness comedy is pretty much dead.     Liked the look of the game, and so far 4v4 PvP isn't too bad but if maps get bigger it may be a problem. Played titan and hunter, enjoyed titan subclasses and powers but the hunter not so much comparing the wall of the titan to the hunter getting one shadestep also golden gun gets six shots but is 2 shot kill what's the point? Hunter got an exotic hand cannon with explosive rounds where titan got that mini gun. Really wish there was a little more to the beta though.
