    So the fact I'd heard portal wouldn't give xp was nonsense then, it was obvious that if you can generate your own games that xp farming would be a thing.

    It seems that's the kind of thing these developers hope for that people will buy the game just "to see" To me that's what reviews are for, and so far Im waiting to see how it is after full release, if nothing changes I'm reluctant to spend money on it. It seems these changes aren't to make a better game they're for making more profit.

    I was talking to @Stretch616 a little last night regarding the fact that Ive seen that theres no server browser except in portal and no mention of the smaller gamemodes. This is a big deal for me personally , stretch seems to think they may come with the release on the 19th. 🤷

    I've heard that the game was built for hazardzone hence the specialist, this lack of mp content kind of backs that up

    100% this. It goes back to what I've thought before about these big franchises, they know what made them great but for some reason at this time they just seem to have no clue I don't know wether it's laziness or arrogance at this point however people still lap this shit up and I feel that's due to "content creators" as much as anyone. Nothing I've seen from YouTube makes this game say it's battlefield, it may as well be called generic fps 2.

    On twitter last night I got replies saying it wasn't worth the money, this the most detailed reply, which I totally agree with. Also only found out about the lack of weapons yesterday on YouTube and my reaction was that it's just not good enough. With lack of weapons and the specialists you could end up with 128 players all pretty much clones of each other.

    Hey fella first of all I'm sure others would agree you can bore us all in the chat all you want if it helps. Also some of us may have gone through something similar a d just sharing stories may also help (I've got some good ones 😉) one "good" thing I guess is the kids involved are older but good luck moving forward and hope you get settled and sorted out Asap.

    Some basic reviews are out. It seems improved and portal definitely looks interesting however still not sure it's an early purchase. Portal only definitely could be great for Fg Fridays

    It's interesting to read others views on finances, I've been known to splash the cash on a whim( especially during Fg Fridays😉) However I had a good decade where I literally lived hand to mouth when the kids were young, the ex never worked either, such a great help, so when I started earning decent money I just blew it on whatever, didn't care about my debts and for a long time lived in an overdraft, the thing is I couldn't get loans but still wanted the bikes and the trips. That changed a few years back and I decided I'd at least get out of the overdraft, and once I'd done that the lifestyle though still not frugal had meant that I could continue to save and now after the savings due to covid sees me in my best financial position which means I can turn down overtime and if work drys up I can survive for a while. Now I want to look towards early retirement, not sure how feasible that will be post covid.

    I'm getting the game pass and Forza is one game I've never tried but one game i saw that I'd like to. It's also one way to expand the type of games I try for very little outlay.

    "How have we gone so far backwards" Just sat through this video and tbh the one game I was actually looking forward to at this time is a don't go anywhere near. Notwithstanding the bugs the actual gameplay mechanics look like shit. The quote from the video I started with after watching reviews of both this and vangaurd was my exact thought, 2 franchises that have hit it out of the box in the past that I used to hit as soon as they arrived and looked forward to playing have become a joke. This is the first time I've watched a video by this guy but I want to thank YouTube for the recommendation. I need to see something completely change or the chances I get this anytime soon is zero. It's a long video but worth the watch, haven't got the time last 2 minutes.

    If you Google it there are official ones that might give you some ideas. You may be able to do something regarding picking winners weekly or lowest score, highest score, highest and lowest aggregate score that wouldn't matter about the season starting and would give some interest without going in too deep to rosters etc. I normally Google NFL scores which gives weekly match ups.

    Everyone will rock that sparrow. I don't like the Dino armour that much but that skeletal set is pretty good.

    Tbh the better weapon for PvP is the braytech werewolf. I got a sweet roll I tried not expecting much and it wrecked. True vanguard has done a vid on it though 🤦

    Spend enough time on twitter and see shite like this regularly you have to wonder as a species how we managed to even get this far. However what's more scary is there are people out there that actually agree with the abundant nonsense.
