I've just been to one of the most incredible places I've ever been. It was 4 years of waiting as we got stopped because of COVID back in 2021. Svalbard an archipelago in the arctic circle, the most northern continually habited town in the world. I've been to the artic circle before in Tromso but this place is a 3 hour flight north from Oslo. @Middle Class Caveman if you have any thoughts of going do it, most people haven't even heard of this place. We chose this last week as they do a whole local Christmas walk for the kids and it's in polar night, 24 hour dark, you can't leave the town without someone with polar bear protection basically they are armed. This two and a half day trip had a guided taxi ride to various places of interest, a few beers in their own brewery, my first snow mobile excursion, I ran a dog sled team no practice simply here ya go, we also had snow cat rides and reindeer stew out in the wilderness. I ended up in the background of an Instagram post made by the main content creator who lives their, I'll link her YouTube. Anyway I'll post a few pics and links.

I've played quite a bit more of the game and unlocked some better weapons which is helping however one big issue that is spoiling it is the shoot first die first instantly nonsense, I'm sure there's a technical term and I watched a video about tick rates and missing bullets etc, but it sure did describe what it looked like from my play time. I was hoping for more, I loved BF4 and to a lesser extent but only just bf1 however I'm just playing now as there is nothing else at the moment and it fills a few hours here and there.

With all the past experience etc I'm always baffled as to why game developers can't come up with better offerings or even equal offerings to what they've managed on inferior hardware. All of these maps are worse than what we've had in the past. Why are there stairs to nowhere rooms you open up that go nowhere clutter everywhere sometimes more is less. Then there's the new map, which is just dull, there are definitely a couple which are simply fine, no idea what they are called as I simply don't care. Im sure peoples views on maps depend on the game mode they play. The game isn't bad but it really could have been so much better.

I'm glad you're enjoying it and people are playing together but while I have played it a fair bit I am still going to compare it to true battlefield games and on that score it's a little disappointing. As for the gunplay that's one aspect it really does do as well as Cod both are equally inconsistent 😉

I get that but regardless he's not wrong we pay more money for less things, things that made the series great. I also think these days we've been given so many crap products we are happy with things being mediocre. It's a shame that as a franchise, much like CoD it's best years and games are behind it.

The game is ok, it's nowhere near peak bf imo and when you get someone to actually list what's missing etc you can kind of see why there's reasonable criticism.

It says at launch not throughout the lifecycle of the game, it would be so funny if they flipped the switch once people had bought the game.🤔

Yes, probably going to rewatch it myself. Now having watched Gein I have to say it's weird as ....but you have to watch it to believe they actually made this show.

As they added the non sbmm playlist I thought I'd give it a go and it was so much more of an organic experience than any of the time I've put into bo6, I had games where I got shit on all the way through to one game when I got a ruthless medal and I see myself as an average player. Now I'm not falling for this as James said I expect them to return to type but if this is the default setting, not a playlist then I may buy the game. Also the wall jumping is a gimmick that should never exist and the bloody pointless doors ruin the overall experience and are unnecessary, the maps as usual are simply meh. I had so many pointless deaths due to falling off the map. Anyway I don't usually watch much blame truth these days but he's pretty much right here.

Thankfully Bf6 will sort out my FPS this year as Bo7 looks like dog egg. To me it looks worse than bo6. Also everything I've heard of seen from CoD next looks so fake, they have no interest in the game it came across as one of these generic infomercials that's trying to sell crap to idiots. 🤣

After enjoying how they did Dahmer I think this might be even better. After a teaser trailer this is the latest one, and fair play Charlie Hunnam.
