Had some good games tonight.  Especially when we just gathered more and more people until we were just a horde shooting everything like it was nothing.  They should crank the difficulty on some enemy that 3 people just can’t kill.  Force coop.  What you do after that however…..

I think our league position doesn't reflect our play. I think you could call it "generous". If we get promoted again, I think we would get wrecked most games and be straight back down again.
My preferred result would be narrowly miss playoffs, strengthen the squad and finish strongly for two more seasons before possible promotion.
Actually I would be happy with top 8 finishes every season playing entertaining football. Premier League is the dream but can be a nightmare as well

Sunderland still ended up spending close to £160m I think. They spent really well but if they were to get relegated, they'd be in a whole world of trouble for years to come and they wont want to go back to League One or end up doing a Reading. Leicester are due to be deducted an estimated 9pts this month for PSR violations too and their situation could turn extremely dire if they have to sell players in January to stop it happening in the summer. There's just not enough windows or time for teams who are going down to adjust their situation - I can understand why teams going up may be scared to spend because it means they don't have to try and balance the books to fit the stupid PSR rules in no time at all. Maybe getting promoted, planning for relegation and then trying to get promoted again isn't such a bad idea especially if you can pocket a huge sum. Spending it seems to have a double-whammy knock-on effect.

100% agreed. Add to that the fact that newly promoted teams can only spend a limited amount due to PSR whereas the bigger teams can just go and spend £600m plus. Declan Rice going to Arsenal cost nearly as much as our entire summer spendings. Newly promoted teams just can't compete. Seems that Sunderland may be the exception to the rule. Fair play to them if they do stay up.

Picked this up earlier this week as an early Christmas gift to myself, enjoying it so far even if I'm only level 6

Ironically, that seems the best way to make friends and not get killed by other teams. Console trios seems to be the opposite as they don't spend time to say 'Don't Shoot' and have a chat to a randomer.

I have over 100 extractions solo and only been killed twice in and around the elevator. Best thing to do is choose an exit that isn't hot i.e has more than 10 minutes left on the clock. Also approach carefully and use the built-in social chat saying 'don't shoot' and 'thank you'. Also holstering your weapon can put others at ease. When en route, observe the sky to see if there are any ARC floating around the exit because that can be a sign someone is close by. I also don't push the button blind and also don't leg it to the exit as soon as the doors open as that can encourage opportunists. 
 
There's definitely more combat in PvP but solo is pretty relaxed most of the time I find. 

I was iffy at this game at first but in love with it now. 
 
Not watched an angry Joe in a while but they summed it all Well. One of the best things like they say it feels like the old days of Xbox like or pc gaming, going into chats and making friends quickly in game, people working together etc. takes you back to the old days 
 
biggest let downs are the microtransactions and character customisation

Absolutely epic run on Spaceport. Shitloads of purples and blues. Get to extract, small firefight with two lads and ended up downed. They then peaced up with each other and stabilized me so I could extract, then my fucking internet goes down and I lost it all.

I'm enjoying it so far but have stuck to the Dam map mostly. Only been killed by another player once so far. As those of you who know me well I have died more than once ! 🤣
 
Main strategy so far has been to expand the stash as much as possible, unlock all the work benches.
 
It's a beautiful game to play, AAA at a bargain price and reminds me of Destiny in many ways... daily quests, scavenging, equipment upgrades, etc.
 
It'll be interesting to see how many FG players will use the wipe option.
 
I see Shroud is playing and topping the leaderboard but also discovering some sad news.....

Cheers @Diddums. Last night was first full night on it and I'm finally getting it all. The playloop is great, just the UI doesn't initially help you in that fact.
 
I'd say one of the biggest things it doesn't tell you to do but to help you on your journey is to 'Track Resources' for all bench installs and level up upgrades. Its like extra mini objectives alongside the main quests the game gives you. Helps you then focus on specific loot rather than it all because there is absolutely shed loads the game gives you and you can feel like you are full within a minute of spawning in.
 
Its good to be in a group and share what things that people may need so we're all looking for 5-6 things on each run and we can share and help each other with whatever we all find. I love that bit about it all, way more objectives then and definitely better feeling than the 'I'm helping' meme in your head.

I finally managed to get in, so here's a last look at my character before I wipe him. I'm actually Level 43 but today's update to the game has put me down to 36 for some glitchy reason.
 
485 hours since 6 June and this will all be re-set to zero once I nuke the character to enjoy the new content.
 
I'd almost finished building my Hideout, but it's all going back to square one and I'm looking forward to playing with an actual storyline finally : )
