  1. OK Phil, but, for context, he was speaking in a debate entitled “has wokeness gone too far?” which is probably why the term was used so frequently.

I don’t really think it’s vacuous bollocks to point out that, although it may have been the industrial revolution that was the beginning of global warming, a major factor now is disadvantaged people who just want to make their own lives better.

Also, again for context, he was saying to the people he was debating with, they should be working harder to make scientific and technical breakthroughs towards clean energy that was cheap i.e. affordable for the people in the world who can only currently afford fossil fuels. I don’t think that’s vacuous bollocks either

Just my opinion and I’ll raise you to a threepenny bit 😘

Answer (1 of 22): Update: The new M1 Macbook Air will play the game just fine. Go ahead. The answer below is for the older Intel variants. No game you run on a computer damages it, absolutely none. Let's just...

How people play this solo is a mystery to me as it's just annoying. I always get put with total idiot team mates who don't shoot down ANYTHING. So the other team have constant UAV's up and my team mates will just repeatedly run out and get killed by VTOL's or Chopper Gunner's without thinking that maybe they should get rid of them 🤬🤦‍♂️

I play solo and, apart from Shipment, I don't mind taking down UAV / CUAV as it grinds my launcher camos. I actually like playing solo if no-one else is around as I can do my own thing for challenges without worrying about letting the side down - I also don't care about W/L or K/D ratios. As long as I'm enjoying myself, that's the main thing 👍

Cosmetic skins aren't a problem but the purchasable ones in COD are because they are MORE than skins - they have altered back-end stats to inflate performance to make them an attractive purchase, which then get subsequently nerfed before the next bundle is released. Players then see their gun isn't as effective post-nerf and simply move onto the next bundle. They wouldn't even sell a tenth of these skins if there weren't performance boosters in place especially when the core game has almost 200 skins already available which can be comfortably earned by playing. If these skins were just cosmetics then they wouldn't need to be nerfed on queue regular as clockwork.

Skins in games like Overwatch 2016 were fine as they were outright cosmetics paid or earned but this is not how Activision operates this aspect - they literally have patents in place for monetised matchmaking purposes placing users against premium gun owners in a bid to entice a purchase and this has been in place and enforced for a few years now as well as the shills that further push this concept. If you buy a bundle for whatever reason, you are paying for an advantage whether intentional or not and also irrespective of ability. This is the same way people were buying the LA Thieves skin to gain a visible advantage. Once sales peaked, Activision then nerfed the appearance of the skin despite plenty of warnings prior and having had the same charade during Warzone 1 with a very similar skin. This wasn't a mistake - this was a deliberate and calculated money-grab from Activision in selling something that provided a clear advantage and then appeasing the complaints after the money was banked. Same applies to skins basically.

If Activision opened up a store selling 1000 cosmetic-only skins for £100 each tomorrow then it wouldn't be an issue but just one skin that has vastly improved stats (mined, not in-game) then that puts the game in the P2W category.

I would say that I have been killed by Lionel Messi on a number of occasions but I've yet to run into Pogba or Ronaldo. Couldn't get an autograph from Leo no matter how much I chased him

I present to you.... Sir Chris Hoy!

"Hoy is eleven-times a world champion and six-times an Olympic champion. With a total of seven Olympic medals, six gold and one silver, Hoy is the second most decorated Olympic cyclist of all time. Between 2012 and 2021 he was the most successful British Olympian and the most successful Olympic cyclist of all time. "

I’ll give you Sir Chris Hoy. Chris Cornell, although influential, is several levels lower than Grohl and Bowie and not even you can compare Dracula with Del Boy/Frost/Granville/etc

Dave is winning again? How is this possible? There are far more famous people called Chris! Christopher Columbus, Saint Christopher, Kriss Akabusi (yeah it's spelt differently but it's still Chris), Kris Kross. The list goes on!

How many famous Dave's are there? One: David Attenborough. Yeah admittedly he's an absolute legend and one of the greatest people to ever live, but you can't base this competition on one person.

    (sigh)

I was going to stay out of this but, given the drivel above (thank goodness he didn't stoop so low as to include Christopher Biggins) I think, on behalf of all Daves I need to throw a few more in to back up the legendary David Attenborough.....

I think that's game over boyz...the cream will always rise to the top and they're all Daves
