  1. Not sure if you guy's ever played it, but Alpha Protocol to me was the best James Bond game (that wasn't a Bond game). If they made something like that I'd be quite happy πŸ™‚ Though what they could do with today's tech and funding could be something special ^_^ Similarly the splinter cell games seem to have died off / gone quiet in recent years.
  2. I played it recently ^_^ Still have a working N64 and whilst it's fun it obviously feel's very dated. I'm incredibly surprised it has not had a remake in this day and age, feels like a cash cow if ever there was one. Almost like a remake of Ocarina of time would be as well.
  3. That was tough last night πŸ˜„ Not sure if part of it was just we all kept getting in each other's way and that as well. The last game (admittedly it was a division lower) was much better but I think we were down to 5 or 6 players? Nay mind, was enjoyable! I think someone mentioned that a few of you are playing modern warfare at the moment, I will have to wait till payday else my wife will kick me up the arse but I might look at getting it in a few weeks to give me something else to game with you lot on (might hit my targets on there better than I did last night πŸ˜„ )
  4. Managed to get to the cinema the weekend for the first time since having children ^_^ So a few years, and got to see Top Gun πŸ™‚ It's a brilliant film and I would argue as good (maybe better) than the original, a little less romance and a bit more flying of planes, added tense moments to them and some of the action scenes were brilliant πŸ™‚ Would definately recommend watching at the cinema rather than at home as well, it really need's a good sound system and big screen I think πŸ™‚
  5. Thanks for the matches last night, not sure I will be on today but will definately be on again with you lot πŸ™‚ Results went our way which always makes clubs more enjoyable!
  6. Thanks guys, have added a couple of you, my pros are on ps5 and Xbox so will have to play some drop in games and pick up some points to add into my player
  7. God of war looks very much a me game, i have tried to play it twice and bounced off it. will add it to the library but cant see me ever getting through it! It’s not a bad month mind, just think anyone that wanted to play god of war probably already has it?
  8. Do you guys play on PS or XBOX? Do you often have any space in the squad and is it just Mondays? I used to play a lot of clubs but my group largely drifted away (and I can't play with my brothers as they are frustratingly bad to play with πŸ˜„ ) If so who should I be adding and what is the clubs name? πŸ™‚
  9. Hi @IRaMPaGe & @GazzaGarratt thanks for the welcome πŸ™‚ I mostly play PS5 but do have a Switch, laptop and Series S as well (played in that order of preference). My 3ds is getting a lot of love at the moment though and I have a couple of DS games turning up for it this week πŸ™‚ Will be my go to gadget when I go on holiday in a months time. From the UK, West Midlands and in case anyone wants to add me my name on almost everything is the username I have on here - Luseth.
  10. As someone who has been a big fan of the series for years there has been a noticeable change in direction, the last game BFV was a slight shift towards that end goal and I think fans started to move away at that point knowing what was to come. BF2042 is a complete and utter disaster that I think they may struggle to recover from, I appreciate they are trying to find the right model going forwards however there were glaring omissions from the original launch that took a lot of what battlefield was away, couple that with badly designed maps that were possibly way too big and there's no one who has stuck around to play it. I jumped on briefly the other night (PS) and the gun play is actually quite good I feel but everything else just let's it down. It's such a far cry from BF1 (which was incredibly atmospheric) and even BFV has had it's really good moments.
  11. I'm a big fan of the series πŸ™‚ The more recent games are certainly much more friendly in that they are easier to get into so you are probably at the right point to jump in. Essentially you have a little army and you move each piece / unit at a time and attack other units. Think chess in rudimentary terms or final fantasy tactics for something else relatable. Three houses on the switch is certainly one of their best (though here the price never dropped from release) or I would highly recommend fire emblem awakening on the 3ds as well πŸ™‚
  12. So errm hi! I am sort of looking for a new place to call home so to speak, the forum I typically visit has become far too political and all I really want to do is talk games πŸ˜„ So yeah, I have young children which limits my gaming time but I'm a big fan of JRPG's, from the UK, I play a fair amount of battlefield with friends when I can (We won't mention 2042) and I have access to almost every console I could ever want (though my collection for each tends to be small and limited!) So yeah hopefully I will get chatting to you all soon, hi πŸ™‚
