As the game has continued to be well supported, Techland have decided to continue supporting the game after the game has been out for so long.
 
Not only that but they will release 10 pieces of DLC over the course of the next 12 months. All free. The first will come in a few weeks' time (Drop 0) which will feature a taste of what is to come over the 12 months. The drops will include new enemies, more in-game events, new locations to explore, and more unnamed promises.
 
Pretty darn awesome if you ask me that a developer is morally following the right way to go about things by supporting the community that have bought the game and continue to play it even after nearly 3 years since its release. Kudos points for Techland.

I do like chasing Pharah in the sky as you do more damage and also eating her bullets. However, we don't pair up with a DPS character like Soldier. Lets try that next time.

Unlike Chris' suggestion they can't just ignore PvP, it is a big part of Destiny and there are a good chunk of players who almost solely play PvP.  We were discussing this the other night and I apologise now as I can't remember the exact numbers but it is something like 60% of the community have ever tried a raid while only 20% have completed one.  Obviously there are the strikes and NF's etc. but it gives some indication that, to a good chunk of the player base, PvE isn't that important.
 
I can't really comment on super charge time as I've not played enough control to know how it works in that.  In the competitive mode, I don't see a problem with how slow the supers charge as arguably supers actually ruin the game mode as you either it is use your supers for an insta-win round or supers are used simply as counter to other supers.  I can see (but haven't exeprienced so may be wrong) that in control with more kills and more points from capturing objectives that supers will build quicker.
 
I don't think it is clear cut as seperating PvP and PvE out to seperate mode and the game will instantly be better.  It would still take careful balancing and arguable more balancing than currently due to effectively having 2 game modes.  Bungie would also have to be careful not to run into the situation of there being PvP weapons and PvE weapons - a gun that is powerful in one should be powerful in the other.  On balance though I do think they should seperate them out, we saw in D1 that in trying to balance PvP and PvE shotguns became OP to fuck then became uselss and Hand Cannons followed a similar path.

War flick based on the battle of Okinawa and one very unlikely hero. Mel Gibson's directorial debut with Spiderman as the main role. This film is a 10 for me. Absolutely superb and no film before it has conveyed the shit that the boys went through like this one, not for me anyway. Spiderman was absolutely fantastic, and if his heroic deeds were even only 10% of what Hollywood portrayed then he deserved every single medal thrown at him, especially as his fight wasn't only on the battlefield but began way before it.

You can just see by the diagram it looks silly and you also have to download an app on your phone to get it working.

Rico, Josh and I were the playing the strike again and things changed quite a bit so we did a bit of exploring. We even ended up acquiring some pikes! I saved the clip and tried to piece together the interesting parts.
 
 
I do not know if it is intentional or not, but making strikes more dynamic with changing enemies and environments would definitely be a nice addition. Hopefully they add more secrets to those side areas with the full game.

Well now, Spurs have announced the prices for seats at Wembley.

They already sold 40,000 season tickets and they're still trying to screw every penny out of the sad sacks who'll pay £75 to watch a football match.

When we return to the the new stadium "next year" I suspect it'll be more of the same.

Much as I hate Wet Spam, at least they don't rinse their fans in the stadium we all paid for.

Played through the first story mission and a few games of pvp. 
 
Pros: 
The game looks amazing and sounds even better. 
 
Weapoms all feel different. I love that. Plus the sound each make is nice. 
 
I like the skill tree. Simpler. No bullshit to max armor/agility/recovery. 
 
The 4v4 in crucible really works. Only played the control but it felt good. 
 
In the first mission alone there were more cut scenes than vanilla 
 
Cons:
 
The jumps are way to slow. You feel sluggish in the air. And can't use a jump to get out of trouble any more. 
 
I dont one like the heavy/energy shit. I liked the old way better. 
 
It takes for ever to gain your super in pvp. 
 
My my biggest gripe is NO FUCKING NIGHTSTALKER.  Not yet at least.

Going into it, I wanted to go with Titan. But after dabbling with the Warlock, I'm going to go with Warlock as my first choice.
 
While the beta is going on I'm going to give Hunter a go, but they were never my style.
