Until I got to around 275ish I just used the highest weapons I dropped in order to try everything out. Weapons wise I tend to have a PvP set and a PvE set at a high level. Usually 1 kinetic and energy per set up. I then have specifically for heavy multiple options of burns across snipers and rockets because when you need big DPS you turn to your heavies mostly to help you out. Look out for tracking rockets and large impact/large mag for snipers imo. Merciless though is the key winner in heavies for bosses. I also keep one shotgun for PvP as i always love running round using shotguns. Hawthorne's Forged Shotgun is the one I use. I'll see if I can get some pics for you. To note, I horde a lot of stuff atm. I may have other stuff but I stuffed it in the vault until we hear about a balance patch as it may make others better.

Everyone has said how poor the Tractor Cannon SHotgun exotic is. However, the movie of the week at Destiny is a clear example how awesome it is and fun to use in Crucible. We need to try this out for some funny clips

Next Tuesday, October 3, we are deploying Hotfix 1.0.3.1. It contains some fixes for issues some players are experiencing. Here is a preview of some of the changes you can expect to see when you download the update next week. Fixed an issue in which players could lose access to the Veteran’s Transmat Effect by deleting characters Fixed an issue in which clan engrams would grant Trials of the Nine and raid rewards at only 10 Power Fixed an issue in which progress for the Exotic Quest Step "His Highness's Seal" was not incrementing properly Quest progress will still increment by 1, but the Quest Step now only requires 10 Seals to be collected Fixed an issue in which raid milestones would not show for some players after the weekly reset (This didn’t affect any raid rewards) Fixed issues in which players could enter a state where they are continuously killed or unable to resurrect if encounter complete and failure events occurred simultaneously Looks like Trials and Raid engrams are set to drop at your Power level now which is great news. Cayde’s Stash, Lost Sector, and Planetary Chest Reward Issues We are investigating reports of players opening rewards chests and not receiving loot. If you are encountering this issue, please post a report to the #Help forum detailing the following: Which type of chest did not grant rewards? Had you interacted with alternate chests or planetary materials prior to this issue occurring? It is expected that if too many planetary chests are opened within a short amount of time, players may not receive items. Cayde’s Stash and Lost Sector chests should not follow this functionality. We will provide updates on our investigation when available. Leviathan Raid Keys Through our investigations with internal teams, we have identified two instances where Leviathan raid keys are erroneously removed from character inventory. Signing in with alternate characters will remove raid keys if the character had not been signed in since the weekly reset. If a player earns Raid keys and creates a new character, raid keys are removed from inventory. To prevent this issue, we advise players sign in with all characters or inspect all characters on the Destiny Companion App prior to completing checkpoints within the Leviathan raid after the weekly reset.

Good thoughts Mike. I've thought about an idea in a separate thread on the raid. Trails wise, only specific people want to try this anyway so lets start to see who is up for it across this weekend and maybe see what teams there are. Cards later is a shout! Sorry, just haven't had much time to sort any events and times out this week. I can only really give a large time to organising stuff late at night after or in-between my game time. Just thinking that we have a hell of a lot of members and very soon most if not all will be a Power level that can be competent going into the Leviathan Raid. However, we're struggling to get some of the raids done of late, mainly because of the practice you do need to run in them. I'm thinking instead of setting up times in the idea it's the 'whole raid', maybe we can split it out so 1-2 hours is set aside for a section of the raid; Dogs, Gauntlet, Baths, Calus? This way people can dedicate just a proportion of their night to do it but if really successful you can agree on those times to crack on and get more done. Once more of us run the relevant sections more often, we all become much more smoother as we go through the raid. How does that work for the newer people? Does this also work for the more experienced people? I want to make sure people enjoy this game and we, as a clan, are helping each other as much as we can. The way the raid is set out is that its like mini bosses each section so some could breeze through, other sections and nights could be a little longer. Thoughts on this people? We have c.70 people on PS4 alone....

I didn't expect the PC version to be that bad tbh. I didn't think PS4 version was all that bad, the only things that bothered me was hit detection and the fact that others weren't liking it. Again, didn't expect you two to not look at it. Well, maybe Rich because of fairy dancing around a stage I think it will have some value if there is a party of us. It's why Black Ops 3 is still a decent game to play if we have enough to play together. Phil, still gonna get the PS4 version?

This one has crept under the carpet. One of the most iconic games back on the Sega Mega Drive / Genesis for me is coming back and looks a whole lotta fun. This time round there looks to be a multitude of weapons and bikes you can control, even guns and sticky bombs. I can see this being as fun as we find GTA races to be honest. Hopefully there is 8+ bikers in a race to make it interesting. Nice Mike! Great to finally get one done. For me, this week's Nightfall is exactly they all should be. On Normal it is very challenging but beatable.

As far as I'm aware they have a pretty shitty UI and Sky's way they lay it out means everything makes. Imo kind of the same with ps4 and xbox One UI. Problem is Sky can't compare to the fibre optic 200mb broadband on offer from Virgin. I suppose it boils down to what is most important to you and what will you compromise on. Cost? Broadband? TV?

Personally broadband with Virgin is the best. I have never had problems with them other than recently just wanted to get my speeds higher than I'm paying for. I keep my TV with Sky even though i could get a better deal with one of them. I just like my TV through a Sky box, wife can't cope with anything else.

I love a turn based game. So the review says the story isn't really connected to the first one but is it worth getting the first before this one or can you start this one a fresh without knowing anything about the series?
