Did the nightfall last night with @Diddums and @techno. Pretty easy as people have said, apart from mistiming the beams for 5 minutes Tried the Prestige version once, and we got to the boss even though we got stuck at one section. Its pretty doable so going to try prestige again tonight if people want to give it a go. Being able to spam grenades constantly makes the fight so much more fun and easier. It possibly helps if you are 300+ too as the damage was getting a bit too much in certain places.

Missus won't watch it, boo. Going to have to find some time around her when she ain't got the tv so I can catch up on this.

It certainly is a beautifully crafted racer. Only played some licences and an arcade race so far so its early days. I'm glad we have the licences still in the game. Its a big part of the core way GT works, and its good that they have linked to youtube for key videos to help understand what to do in each one. I'm on the fence with the way that the races work though. The licences are the career mode. You're then left with Arcade mode (vs AI) that looks initially like just a single race with defined cars to choose from. Then there's online races, which I imagine you use your cars you've purchased. I'm going to see if you can tune like you used to and what other customisation is in it. The picture mode though is ridiculous. I'll find some pics people have seen online and you wouldn't believe its not real. I'm excited to play the online mode to see if it will play well or if you get online trolls immediately.

Okay. So some decent news to come but If i'm honest, most people I see here may not think its great news because its not coming quickly and there wasn't mention of endgame content. They'll get hammered to bring Ice Hockey to the tower and not releasing new missions. Summary Torch has been passed from team who made Destiny 2 to the team that is maintaining it aka the Live Team. Live Team's goals: New reasons to keep playing New pursuites, rituals, and challenges. And more.. Examples: Iron Banner, Faction Rally's, etc. Expansion 1 - Winter 2017 aka Osiris DLC Destiny 2 year 1: 4 seasons total. All About Seasons Seasons have themes associated with them. They take feedback from the community for adding and adjusting things such as new emotes, rewards, etc. Season Goals: More predictable time tables (what to expect and when) Destiny 2 year 1: 4 seasons Make big changes to the game Sandbox tuning, new features, more content Big patches to change the meta, etc. Meant so you don't feel like you have to play Destiny ALL the time but instead can take at your pace and show up for important events. Season 2: When: Winter 2017 The Dawning will make a return shortly after the launch of Season 2. Ice Hockey will be enabled You can have snowball fights, plus other Easter Eggs Event affects will be throughout the world, not just the social space. Armor, Weapons, Shaders, and possibly emotes will come Iron Banner - What Bungie Learned: 1,500 YEARS worth of time played between all guardians. Learned how we interacted with the loot system. There will be changes to loot such as letting us direct purchase guns using tokens and legendary shards. The token economy is not always the best way for everything. For Season 2, there will be an ornaments slot requiring an objective to unlock to show that you completed a limited event objective. Such as winning 10 IB matches, Flawless in Trials of The Nine, etc Heard community feedback of wanting rewards more meaningful. One more Iron Banner in Season 1. Some new gear Perks and stats will be updated. There will be a matching energy and kinetic weapon so you can have one of each. Trials of The Nine There will be ornaments as well, not shown yet but "They look really cool" Updated weapons, both visual look and perks Faction Rally Data was tallied cross-platform. One more in Season 1 Screenshot For Season 2 there will be changes to promote playing with a fireteam more vs just solo. Meaning "I'm going to solo farm this as it's more efficient" won't always be the thing. This does NOT mean a nerf to solo, but rather a buff to fireteam aspects so that you can play with your friends instead of splitting off doing your own individual thing. Ahh, got you. Yeah, I really do cos it is an addictive game. I find it easier to learn on the PS4 version if I'm honest. Getting the basics down but then struggling with ideas what to build. Not made anything mechanical yet as I'm not sure what they all do.

I need to get that quest as I've not even picked it up yet. Might try it tonight if people are around.

I'm pretty convinced that whilst they talked about the reason being mainly the emote issue, it isn't that. You can see its been 'delayed' conveniently in line with when PC Trials launches. Thing is, the code releases are always 99% in contention with all platforms therefore to delay trials on PC they need to delay it on other consoles. Yes, they could remove the emote quicker and everyone knows that so they are just using it as an excuse imo.

Apparently Activi$ion have come out to confirm this model has never been used and it was a model concept created in 2015. Destiny community bod, Deej, also quickly came out to say its never been a part of any Destiny game. Problem is though, now we now they've created it, it cements the fact they are utter money grabbing bastards and loses any hope thinking Activi$ion will make a game without Microtransactions and putting themselves first.

Not really interested in much football since Blackburn have been doing piss poor in League 1. Another draw against Plymouth last night. Not good enough. I heard though that the English teams did well in Europe last night. I wouldn't mind watching the Real Madrid v Tottenham highlights.

Took the kids to see Ninjago last weekend. It's okay, no way near the last 2 films, maybe because Ninjago isn't something I know well enough but the kids didn't laugh as much as the first Lego Movie

Burn. It's a little unfair as it's not comparing apples with apples but still, some of that list should be there now.

Not a great start to this game which is such a shame. If the servers are down or your PS4 is not connected to the Internet, no other parts of the game are available and no progress can be saved. (This means you'll lose any in-game credits or level progression earned in Arcade mode.) Campaign mode (the career mode that includes the notorious Gran Turismo driving school) is off limits while offline. Also unavailable offline: buying new cars, viewing your garage, editing car liveries, and even the "taking photos of fancy cars in exotic scenery" mode. At least the driving school is back though but at this rate Project Cars 2 is looking a far better buy.

Gonna pick this up at the weekend, anyone else picking it up? Excited to play both games tbh based on what you guys have said.

This is going to be the first and last DLC for HZD. Guerilla Games have tweeted that they won't be making any other DLC's for the game. "The Frozen Wilds contains additional content for Horizon Zero Dawn, including new storylines, characters and experiences in a beautiful but unforgiving new area." It's mad that a game that took the best part of 7 years to make and another 12 months for a DLC, will be left the way as it stands. I suppose some great games need to be left alone?
