    Anyone buying new stuff for Xmas this year? You expecting anything decent? We've seen this Thomas the Tank Engine track set for nearly a year now and thought it'd be great around the tree but for £60 it seemed a little much. Well, it went down to £40 at Smyths and I couldn't say no....its bloody awesome and Dax loves it. Thomas has voices and songs too. Its a steal at that price.

    Didn't realise the Hunter grenade is that far ahead on damage output than the rest. Its a clear 10k more which is crazy. The pulse grenade always seem to hit harder but obviously not. Maybe worth those other types of grenades in PvP - can see why hunters are still annoying af in the crucible.

    Raid was completed last night by some of the PC FG side so thanks to them for clan engram. As we already did the Crucible and Nightfall earlier in the week, it is just Trials engram to get - it now should be available to play I believe after the patch we have just had. Good luck if anyone is trying it. If anyone wants to do it, let people know and maybe a team can get together over the weekend.

    This week, Xur can be found in the EDZ at the Winding Cove area. You have until 2am PST, 5am EST, 10am BST, 11am CEST on Tuesday, November 7 before he leaves. Here’s what his inventory holds this week: - Young Ahamkara’s Spine [Exotic Hunter gauntlets] – 23LS - Mask of the Quiet One [Exotic Titan helmet] – 23LS - Nezarec’s Sin [Exotic Warlock helmet] – 23LS - Graviton Lance [Exotic pulse rifle] – 29LS I've not used my Graviton Lance once so I can't comment on how it is. Quiet One mask seems to have good perks, I just personally don't pick it over other Exotic Titan Armour.

    Season 2 will start on December 5th, the same date as the DLC. We will quite a ton of content from that date forward as The Dawning will significantly bring new stuff to grab alongside an enivitable sandbox configuration so we'll have to see what gets nerfed and whats the new OP gun.

    New raid 'activity' is going to be on Mercury. So no update to Leviathan or a Vault of Glass revamp. Excited to see what it is going to be, now that its on a new planet. Also, it looks like it will be a 6-man fireteam activity too which is great news as we need more for larger groups. Also 3 nore live streams, as pronised from Bungie will happen before the xpac is out.     So the poll closed at the end of October and it means we'll try and do the raffle idea. (Dave, I don't think it ever stops us doing Secret Santa if people still wanted to be a part of that, they just need to shout up). I want to start the interest on this again so when we are looking for nice things for everyone we're picking the right things out. If you still want to give a donation by a specific game/voucher/etc, that's always welcome or if you can't think of anything you can use the donate button and i'll be clear with everyone what has been raised to see what can be bought with it all. I'll still hold to the £100 I had saved up across the year or this idea and put it towards stuff I mentioned in the initial post. I know I have a new unboxed keyboard that will be going into this so far and no doubt vouchers out of some/all of what I can give already. I'd love this to be a good thing to happen this year. I know a lot of people have had and continue to have a difficult year, so it would be pretty awesome if people get behind this.

    This week's Prestige is a bitch. Happy to try it again before reset with anyone who wants to but the recharge rate of your grenades is now back to normal and Killing Time (shooting ads) is worse than shooting anomalies.

    I've found the grind only really hard when you have to run the campaign again on 2nd and 3rd Characters because you are solo'ing more than the first time.
