I thought you could get No Mans Sky for a fiver at game? I'll have to check myself as it's a common theme that games get developed later down the road now and become good.

It went down for abit but was back up after 30 mins or so. Good to knock out the Nightfall @TigerBurge and @NCA-Paendrag. The boss section is actually a little more tougher than normal. We also had a few problems at the same point the night before with @Diddums and @Shucker! Got to use the reappearing rocks as cover for parts of it.

I was more coming from the view that if you ask questions of your audience you could find out if they want to hear you give information or explain something in game. For example, I was watching and enjoying but at the same time thinking 'why does those bars reset'? Things like that. You won't. As much as what I just said helps to be aware of it, just be yourself. The guides will be great, I'm sure.

We agree to disagree again dude. [emoji12] Better days are here for me. I always play games alongside each other. I'm 370 which isn't bad going on the hours I've put in so far and there isn't better more deserving games that I see that serves my PvE itch like this does. This game now hits a spot where I can play many nights, not get bored and then still have nights on other games and have fun. We, as a community and family, have done had many enjoyable nights on here. And i have recently too. Just like 10/12 people I've grouped up with. The break did us good. Thats what nearly all of bar one has said who has played it with me recently.

But it isn't shit. Not in my eyes. Warmind turned the corner imo. Its now on the right road for better days. As long as they deliver the changes they outlined in the Vi Doc and the Roadmap.

Also, in the interests of fair game and all that jazz, I would try Division and Warframe more if people talked about them more and I see more people on it.

I appreciate the breakdown. As you know me, I'm a person that will always listen and always do my best to accomodate whatever games I can that my life allows. I actually liked The Division. Funnily enough, I just think I have more patience and lower expectations of games full stop than others here. That's completely acceptable too. We as gamers get bored very quickly these days and attempt to do different stuff with games. Its the tiny details that I care more about which others will not care at all. The Destiny Universe is such wonderful to play and chill whilst exploring. I love when you get a drop, how the engram shows on screen and the sounds. Warframe is too complex of a game for me unless I dedicated many hours to learn it. Always willing to try but you just need hand holding on it which the game doesn't support. For me, why can't all 3 games live side by side. Last point I'd make is that whilst i agree with depth terminology, it has more depth than a puddle (well, it will have in September). You ask me how much shit I have to now explain about how Destiny works to people like @Diddums and @crispymorgan. Tldr - Imo its worth the hours of time I sink into it for the simple stuff it has. P.P.S. Raids were great with both of you @Sennex and @The3rdWalker. I think that fun is still there if people are willing to try it.

Yeah, clearly I enjoy the game Phil [emoji23] at least i know there's some proper closet gamers who don't voice their opinions but do love the game for what its worth. I just find it really interesting that Destiny feels like it pulls more players into their Universe than Division or Warframe does. Maybe a check on the numbers playing it may help understand where it sits now. Back to the actual content in September, its difficult not to get excited if you enjoy the world of Destiny.

I did say I would revisit it as i don't know the new updates. Raids as grand as Destiny? We can agree to disagree based on preferences, as I just can't put Division in the same bracket for me. It doesn't excite me the same. Destiny has always hit the sweet spot for the large majority of gamers on consoles because it has different enemies and progression systems that aren't too difficult to work out but just enough depth for hardcore players. Space magic always helps too. The depth hasn't been there before Warmind DLC so I'm just happy that we get some form of grind back now and into September most definitely.

I'll take that Warframe as a comparison so good shout (not Division though it doesn't have enough activities that compare imo) but it would be a good separate thread about why doesn't more people play it. I've tried it but if I'm honest it just doesn't excite me and it is too convoluted with not many prompts to help the core player like me find a way around it. Maybe the new upcoming update to Warframe may help it but from all the FGers I know it sits low in the pecking order currently.

Lol. You forgiven not much then. Some things you pulled out I can understand and fully support, guided games for an example. Others are just your opinion. Many games won't kill off major NPCs and why should they. Makes it interesting to a degree but I actually enjoy stopping at Cayde every now and again and hearing the dribble he says. He's funny. This will boil down to whether or not you hold the grudge on how poor the game was for many months. I was dissapointed to say the least and the quick answer is if you don't like what they did, just don't play it anymore. However, the only reason I keep in discussions like this is because they are just games, not lives. At the same time, I would love it if my friends picked this game back up again. I wouldn't have known about FG without Destiny, full stop. Yeah, sometimes we dont get our moneys worth. Sometimes we do. The Destiny universe is engaging for me and people that look at the next payment as 'we should get it for free' are just deluded. We haven't got a comparison game out there right now, otherwise we'd be playing the shit out of it so whatever games are out there I'd argue they can't compare to Destiny. That's why imo that Bungie were let off the hook big time as there wasn't a big enough game this year to fill the void of shooting Cabal in the face over and over.

Don't buy the answer of Henderson in defence. Just keep defenders in defence. I think Walker is quick to cover most forwards.

Not seen an answer to this Bob but based on how many tokens you can get in a week I don't forsee it being an issue - the catalysts are part of free updates so won't be locked down. I suspect you may be asked to grind from Level 0 again if you don't make it? After playing a bit last night, it does make you engage in a different grind cycle. To get your renown upto rank 5 it is best to due to do a public event, make it Heroic and complete a nearby patrol. You can't fast travel without losing all your banked renown so for ease, fast travel to a place which has a public event and a lost sector. The debuff from renown active is pretty strong. More so the health regeneration but some enemies drop health orbs to combat that. You'll get 10 tokens from a Lost Sector cache with a full 5 renown active.

As some of us are getting nearer 360+ power and more, it would be cool to set up an instance for at least 6 of us. I know it sounds a ballache to get partied together but we only need to of us to hit the same instance which I'd hope wouldn't take long. Nick, Hector and myself was on the boss level 7 the other night, a little more co-ordination from the randoms may have got us the win. If I set up a time, would you be interested? Regardless how long it takes 2 out of 6 of us to spawn in together?
