We'll see if we can some recordings this week and then start picking up videos again. Bring a beer, or 7! Make sure you RSVP if you can or can't make it! FG GTA Friday! N.B. If viewing this via the FG App, please visit the Calendar event via browser to RSVP. Thanks.
  2. Any tried them yet? Haven't got a Seed of Light from Tier II's yet. They seem to be really enjoyable however as it currently stands the matchmaking needs to be looked into so an FG team of 6 can go at it. You usually get 1 or 2 randoms in there atm sometimes can be empty. Here's hoping to see more as I think many just haven't got to The Dreaming City yet. Supers play a key roll once you activate Harmony with the orb.
  3. The Blind Well is an activity that mixes what Destiny 1 people called Archeon's Forge and Court of Oryx. To activate the Blind Well you require a Charge of Light. They can drop from all different activities within Dreaming City and also they are available to buy from Petra too. There are 3 Tiers; Tier I, Tier II and Tier III ( there is talk about that it has a fourth tier due to whats available to buy from Petra). Once you deposit a Charge into the main centre core of the Blind Well, you will activate the Tier I,II or III. You then hold different control points with the sole of objective of killing the enemy to charge each point to 100%. Once you have done 4 waves, with each control point in a different place, you then have the boss or bosses. To kill bosses, you need to kill a High Value Target that glows silver. He drops a Harmony orb which allows you to damage the bosses super. Once the shield is down then anyone can do damage as much as they like. Tier I - 1 Boss Tier II - 2 Bosses Tier III - 3 Bosses (combbination of Tier I and Tier II bosses) Currently Tier II completions reward a rare chance for a Sedd of Light. This allows you to activate anothe one of your supers. There is also talk that Tier 3 will drop you your 3rd subclass Super but I haven't seen this yet. Very hectic but quite good fun,.
  4. Yep, just posted it separately as I'm going to guess they'll come back in some rotation.
  5. Mesa Sean video on how to find the portal if you're struggling.
  6. Week 2 Ascendant Challenge is completely different to the first week as you eventually need to kill all of the huge knights in the ascendant world. The Portal for this week is in the Garden of Esila, right at the bottom of the map just off the cliff. Step 1 - Use Tincture of Queensfoil Step 2 - Jump through portal Step 3 - Collect 3 orbs marked on the map Step 4 - Deposit orbs in the middle of the map Step 5 - Kill all Knights and enemies. Once the orbs have been deposited the middle of the map will become a spot where you can regen your super abilities instantly. This is critical as the Knights are mostly OHK on you because of how strong they are. Step 6 - Collect loot from chest I'd highly recommend doing this as a fireteam of 3 because I've done this tonight with @Bluebear and @Kemp210 and it was pretty tough even just trying to land back in the middle to get your super back before the Knights used their sword to cut you in half.
  7. A few tips that @Horrible_Hector mentioned last week were to stand on top of the blights and punch them as you don't take damage. Also, find a tree that you can jump in as the knights cannot hurt you whilst you kill the crystals.
  8. The Ascendant Challenge from week one was called Aphelion's Rest. This is currently one of the bounties up for sale at Petra. On completion it will grant you Powerful Gear. Ascendant Challenges require you to use a 'Tincture of Queensfoil'. This will allow you to see ascendant world elements around the Dreaming City. The following steps should outline what to do in this challenge: Go to the Aphelion Lost Sector - This is situated under where Petra is. Fall off the cliff and then walk around the edge of the cliff to the left. Consume your Tincture of Queensfoil - it only lasts 30 minutes so makes sense to use it just before entry Half way through the Lost Sector a portal will be in the air, you can't miss it Once through you need to destroy 4 Blights. Best advice is ignore all enemies. When each blight is destroyed, a huge knight will spawn in and they will chase you. Again, best to ignore. Once all blights destroyed, the crystals in the middle will be available to shoot. Shoot all crystals to despawn all enemies Collect loot from chests
  9. Just a note to the Destiny FGers. Gonna try and spend some time putting up some separate threads up about lots of different activities in the Dreaming City as I think many won't have touched the surface (including me) and it may help all of us look through and find some things to do to party up with other FGers. Was gonna put it in its own sub-forum within Destiny but equally can leave the multiple threadsin here. Just lemme know what works for you guys. Cheers
  10. Great response so far. @Kemp210 @Davidgraves30 @Sofaman @AdamF1007 @bluffin109 @Baabcat @Prodi-Cal_Son @Dr Diamond what's the score people as it would be ace to have you there!
  11. Nice! That is really needed in The Blind Well cheese atm. Well done Bob. With the hotfix on Tuesday the drop rate for this was increased so make sure you all do the Wanted Bounties this week.
  12. Both Space's Lion King and your huge project above look really awesome. Glad you shared them.
  13. Eventually watched abit of AngryJoe as you said in chat the other night - LOLZ. Looks like it saved me some money too.
  14. Kiwi!! Stop going MIA will ya?! [emoji8] I'm still hopeful that the design of maps and being a mainstream AAA title should help its longevity. I'm glad its finally a 'part' of a game. Its a gamemode so I'd want to casually dip in and out of it so having the chance to switch standard cod modes will be a convenient option for us lazy folk. How was hit detection for people so far?
  15. I managed to get full Gambit armour last night. The legs seem to drop last and I was about Infamy Rank 7 at the time. Then did the full Gambit armour quest to win one game and dropped a powerful Gambit Pulse Rifle, Bygones (the one on sale for Infamy Rank 12 but mine has random rolls). It really is a solid gun and deadly accurate. I agree with Rob that most Gambit guns will be really useful and favoured by many.
  16. I missed this thread as I'm still catching up from my holiday. I would've agreed with all you said Chris and seeing more FGers online is great. Just need to keep the interaction going and we'll be all good.
  17. Why am I not surprised you're singing about sandwiches? [emoji23][emoji23] Nice video mate.
  18. I don't believe they all did. In fact they concentrated on killing their ads and must've stacked all tehir damage up in one go. Equally, the longer the game goes on the easier it is to kill the Primeval so we just took too long to get our ads and then they respawned. Exactly. However I haven't used Melting Point at all so may do that next time. Nice point. That is something that many don't look at so good one Bob. However, you could also look at it as if you go over straight away and start killing it can upset their rythmn - it happened to us last night. Nice! @crispymorgan will be happy! OHK sounds promising. Not seen that one drop yet! Did you get it? I've only received Energy Gambit guns so far. Trust is a very smart Hand Cannon.
  19. So @crispymorgan, @Misneach_, @Stretch616 and myself had a number of games last night and here's some of the takeaway from it. Sleeper We had a great little debate online as to whether or not it breaks Gambit. I'm on the fence on this as its early doors and we haven't learned it all. I can definitely agree however something needs tweaking as it can be a game decider more often than not due to the damage output on the boss and OHK on the other team. Nerfing it is out of the question. It is an exotic, it should feel OP. Either other guns get buffed or/and do something to highlight a sleeper is on the playing field. They have strong evidence buffing other stuff to keep up is the right way to go. Equally many others have found ways to win without it. Banking and Mote Collection @Stretch616 decided to focus solely on killing ads. Then simple comms between us 3 to leave specific motes on the ground worked well. The onus is on the mote collector saying "need one more". Then others can call out they've left some. Invading Sticking to one main invader and a deputy works really well. Defined roles that takes seconds before a match just calms down your play. I was main invader but then when i was low on heavy ammo and no super I'd call out to @crispymorgan to take his super over to the other side. Also, timing when to use the portal should only really be used when the opposition are holding motes that haven't been banked. Going in straight after a blocker also helps as you know they are distracted. Teamwork Stick to the task at hand and don't be overthrown by emotion. We won some games comfortably but once we had a a better team it can throw your judgement. We had a few calls of "sod it, I'm going over to get that guy". That's when things can start to fall apart. Not always but alot of the time it does because your team structure is all over the place then. Primeval Focus on ads first. They will protect and slow down DPS on Primeval. Stack supers and heavy for this stage. Its a race against and can become hectic! If an invader comes in, unless you are just about to kill it, all of you should have a quick check for the Invader. Its essential so you minimise deaths. Ultimately its a great gamemode that will be thoroughly rewarding when you win and at times frustrsting to lose games that flip the other way so late in the game. More to learn I'm sure and hope this helps some of you.
  20. Congrats to @Spacedeck for being FGer of the month for August! Space or Hazza we could call him 😉 has shown exactly what a new FGer should be like - great intro, getting involved and starting discussions all over FG and jumping online to try and get involved in both PS4 and PC FG nights. I think its truly deserved and I'm super happy you've stuck around to become a true FGer. Well done Space!
  21. Golden gun is significant in Gambit when invading so it still has a purpose. I think its great that these new supers not only have their own situational uses they have complimented the existing supers perfectly. This was something that their developer picked out when they made them, and tweaked some existing supers accordingly. That's how it should be, not making old subclass trees redundant.
  22. You'd think I'd be laughing inside as its Bolton but I just think administration to hit mid-season is literally the worst. I'd rather be beating them on the pitch and the tables fair and square, not with them at a disadvantage. I think we've been fairly lucky that we've not seen any many administrations in recent years given how much of Football is down to money these days.
  23. We need to start making videos again as I think its one huge hole that we all really enjoyed. i want some montages up too. All of one game or multiple, it doesnt matter but we should be showing the newer people here how much fun we have and that they can be part of these videos too. @Greboth, any chance you can start picking this up again please? Anyone else available to do this please?
  24. Apologies for no additions of late. The last few weeks have been taken up by my holiday which I had no signal and then Destiny 2 Forsaken happened and tbh I've just had the most fun logging on after a hard day at work and sorting kids out and grinding and helping others out. I'll get back to some organisation elements I planned over the next few weeks and get back to Event planning. There's a hell of a lot to get done and I want to keep the ball rolling - if you want to get involved in anything, contact me. Even if its helping me share new information - I need a lot of this if we want the Warframe and WoW sections to get speed. Thanks for your patience all.
  25. Agree with playmaker. Someone to unlock defences. Striker wise, I think we're blessed. We've got tons and one of the best with Harry Kane. Don't worry, if we're struggling in over a year, Bradley Dack will ready and waiting in his newly promted Blackburn Rovers shirt [emoji2]
