So, initial thoughts... Gambit Prime is hard AF. It takes a while to understand what will be the best way to play it as it's only one round, albeit a long one. I think it's been difficult too because of all the sandbox changes which has probably made your loadout from standard Gambit not as impactful in Prime. We eventually got a win late in the evening (thanks for the games last night @Bluebear @Kemp210 @reaper-2201 @Plumbers Crack) and so hopefully in time it wont be as crucifyingly painful getting hammered all the time. Be aware, that as the boss has some basic mechanics and health is quite large, you need to keep an eye out for Invaders as it can swing the game constantly. The Reckoning was pretty cool tbh. If the tiers get harder and more mechanics then definite replayability there. Pretty straightforward at Tier 1 level and only 2 stages to it, you have to remember to deposit your synths in your synthesizer inventory screen so you can then deposit a mote in the bank before you drop down into the activity (not sure if it was meant like this but only the left hand port was working on the bank??) Hoping that Tier 2 that drops tomorrow (I think) is much harder and more elements to it. Armour can be received pretty easily at Weak Mote level, will know more if the playloop of wanting better armour with better perks is there over the next week or so. Good first day, great to be back on Destiny and see a full page of FG clan friends on it too. How did everyone else get on?

I'd say it's probably not the most efficient loadout a team can have but it will work for some people.

Nope, you can mix and match sets they've said but also, with the game being the way it's made they wouldn't lock people out just because you've got identical gear sets. I've loved Gambit for a long time and it started to get a little draining more because of the length of games so these sets on top of Gambit round changes is a very welcome addition. Also, compared to other games it's actually a shed load of new gear to be dropped in a season/mini-DLC.

I don't know why but my head is linking Sentry to the Autobots and Invaders to Decepticons.

I actually love the idea of being the Collector and Sentry. Definitely the Sentry will be underrated and it's awesome they can locate the invade for all! Really want to see a large 20 blocker be a humongous meatball esque boss. I'm pretty sure the most popular will be the Invader. So many love going over to troll the enemy team.

The new specific Gambit Prime Gear Sets have been revealed in the new Gambit video with their perks and some look amazeballs. The Reaper set is green by default and will help players kill enemies big and small with its four perks: Weaken high-value targets Generate special ammo on multi-kills Motes stay on the ground longer Killing powerful enemies recharges grenade The Sentry set is yellow by default and will help players counter invaders and protect their bank: Killing multiple enemies buffs damage against Taken The bank gives health regeneration Invaders are marked for allies Allies in the Well of Light are buffed The Collector set is white by default and will help players collect motes and send blockers: When the Collector dies, they’ll drop their Motes Motes grant an overshield Generate ammo when depositing Motes Hold up to 20 Motes and send a giant Blocker The Invader set is red by default and will help players hunt enemy players and steal motes: Generate ammo while invading Invasion overshield is more powerful Killing enemy Guardians gives bonus damage Lock down and drain Motes while invading

Definite good addition so people can play together quickly. Also, the content is going to be dropping mostly throughout the first month rather than drip-fed over 3 months. Looking forward to Xur actually being relevant again too with his Lore Nine bounties each week and finally selling some Forsaken Exotics Tomorrow is gonna be fun for sure.

I think that's the beauty of battle royale. Apex feels very similar but it doesn't ruin the night as you just keep trying to jump into a clusterfuck zone and get some kills. Definitely boost your confidence if you can get out of one of those moments as the last squad alive. High risk, high reward, better gameplay value loop.

You need Apex Legends in your life (cant be any excuses as it's free ) Also, I'm playing Fortnite from time to time to help my son do his challenges so rally to group up if you need a squad member. I seen a comment on SkillUps decision not to do part 2 of his review for Anthem yet as it would be unfair before all the other content comes out past May. Was it No Mans Sky that had the same issues? I just remember PS4 refunds popping up some time ago and from what I've heard and seen, if the crashes are real and has put you off the game then I dont think it hurts to ask for a refund. I'd support at least a 50%+ refund of some kind at the very least.

Destiny 2 is back in the PS4 for me. Nice to also be back on Overwatch PS4 and Apex. Had an amazing game with @Stretch616 last night and won the game with a total of 15 squad kills.

I'm looking forward to seeing an RPG pokemon game come out. I must admit, I'm really tempted by Pokemon Go but I was not so sure about how much depth the game had above and beyond the Pokemon Go game. When you say 'random' encounters, do you mean similar to how you encounter battles on Final Fantasy 7/8?

I think going to one round, boosters up to 640 within a few hours will prove a great addition to what we have already. I'm with you on that allegiance quest, gives me an incentive to use my second character way more than I do now.

Spurs needed to turn their little bad spell around so it's got to be seen as a good result for them. I haven't caught MOTD yet but I was surprised to hear that West Ham could be in the running for 7th?! They've came out of nowhere when I thought they were just above the drop zone. Funny how seasons can turn around very quickly.

You really have explained why when we first met I have always had reservations of fully going back into the PC world. I always worry for that day when your PC becomes irrelevant or 'old' even when it doesn't feel old. I hope the new build last 10 years mate 🤞

I've not heard anything about it. I'm disappointed my wife spent money on this as a present for me. Online should have been ready and nearer to what GTA's online service that it is today.
