As we approach the first birthday of FG, Bart and myself have been talking and we're getting ready to boost traffic to the site. Bart is looking in to making the site a bit snappier (that notifications thing drives me nuts) and I'm looking into SEO, backlinks, facebook likes, twitter stuff, etc etc.
 
I'm not very good at this myself so rather than bang my head against a wall and get nowhere, I'm paying people to do it for us. I will be forking this out of my own pocket, but if anyone wants to chip in towards this campaign, there's a donate button on the top right of the site.
 
Mods / admins, please note that when I eventually hit the switch, traffic will boost a bit so please keep that in mind. Be extra vigilant for spam in particular.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let this be real.  

Just an idea, but can't there be a global announcement for these maintenances so there aren't a zillion threads about them? And I'd much rather have one thread where you explain what you're maintaining then just saying 'it's done' as I am curious about what exactly is being done. If there is a thread with that, I've lost it with all of the 'Maintenance' titled threads. I'd throw some of the maintenance threads in the pit, but I don't think that's my place.

In a game that emphasizes strategy and competition as much as League of Legends, information can be incredibly powerful. We've been itching to provide more data on how you play the game, and we’re ready to introduce the evolution of your match history. The beta is now live!
 
Our goal is to deliver robust, intricate details about your previous matches in an accessible, intuitive interface that allows you to share game histories with your friends. We’re making more of your games visible, not just your last 10. We’re expanding the end-of-game information, using graphs and heat maps to display dragon kills, gold-per-minute, death locations and more. And now you can share links to your match history across all of your favorite social channels.
 
Related to sharing, there is one aspect of the new match history we want to dive into deeper. We believe ranked play is the highest sphere of competition. Players opt in to ranked play to measure their skill in an amped-up competitive environment, and the focus is much more on winning. In order to maintain that legitimacy, we believe that ranked game stats should be open knowledge, so unlike match histories for normal queue games, ranked games will be publically available.
 
As we said before, the evolved match history is in an early state, so we’ll continue to refine the online experience. For now, if you have any additional questions, check out our FAQ. As always, we’re looking for your feedback as League continues to evolve, so join the discussion below!

I have the season pass and haven't downloaded it, tbh forgot it was even out such is my lack of interest in ghosts these days.

No biggie, another little tip with that crafting mod you can reverse smelt arrows and get hawk feathers which "cure disease." So instead of carrying a ton of cure disease potions you can carry a crap ton more feathers with less weight spent.

I put "art" in quotes because I have no talent. All I do is smear colors around, but I do find it very relaxing. Thought I'd share.

So i'm going to hop on now and play for the first time. Gonna make a wood elf since they're one of the best races in regards to archery.

My brother did that. He joined the dark brotherhood, had his sneak and pickpocket up so high he stole Astrid's Blade of Woe and then when he finished the brotherhoods quest he got another one so he ended up having duel Blade of Woe daggers. He also leveled up his Illusion so he could be invisible a lot of the time. I was jelly with how sneaky he was.

I usually go with a mage in TES games, but in Skyrim I went with an assassin archer type.  A lot of fun.  The bow is OP as you get your archer skills up.  

I think you also want to think about which companions (if any) you are going to want to spend time to determine the character. Lydia for example is pretty useless if you want to be stealth and sneak up on people. 
 
I played elves with the bow and max archery and smiting 
I played  orc with armor and double handed weapons. I had the dragon armor
I played wood elf with sneak and destruction magic
 
You can max sneak and archery and destruction magic by going in Draugr dungeons and sneak up on the ones that are sleeping and kill them. That counts as a sneak attack and allows you to level those skills up quickly. 
 
The were all a lot of fun.

A sneaky archer sounds fun! I want to try and play tonight. It's just the hardest part is me figuring out what I want to be.

My favorite class was a stealth archer/dagger elf.
Sneak attack multiple adds up on bows. Combine that with smithing to make stronger bows and you shouldn't have much trouble.
Throw poison on the arrows for even more damage.
If I remember right I was almost osk dragons.

To be honest it's really hard for me to get excited over this game. I really hope it's great but I've gotten where I don't trust or believe anything studios are saying anymore after Ghosts and Battlefield.

I downloaded Papers Please since James was highly recommending it. I'm enjoying it so far. I'll probably play again in my free time. My friend is going to buy me the Legendary Skyrim before the sale is over for my birthday. I'm excited to play it.
