yup. splash damage from the tanks main gun has been nerfed to hell.

ive also come across and annoying bug in the choppers where you get the warning lock on sound, but there is no warning telling you a stinger is coming. as such, 3 times in one game i ignore the lock warning, and low and behold i get hit.



also had an interesting slug match with a tank, which went like this. we both crash head on into each other. i fire the first shot. it then proceeds to be tit for tat, until i blow up. Wait, what ? I GOT THE FIRST SHOT ! we both had the same vanilla tank, yet i get blown up !

I can't kill anyone for shit in a tank with the gun or the cannon. I can get killed in one hit across the map by other players no problem but when I'm in the crows nest; I'm firing away at them and they manage to run off like sissies.  

been playing using the attack choppers tonight for a while and it is way, way easier to get shot down.



 i find it fucking ridiculous that you can take damage directly,yet your chopper takes no damage. getting sprayed out of your chopper halfway across the map by a lucky headshot is bullshit. also, rpgs........one shot kill to a chopper. SMAW/LAW whatever it is requires more than one hit it would seem. i hit a chopper in the blades and all i got was a "vehicle hit 21".



looks like its going to be a slog to get some better upgrades for choppers. same for tanks too. it seems vehicles in general have been nerfed to fuck. i hit a soldier from point blank range for a good 2 seconds with an anti-air tanks miniguns...he managed to get close, i get stuck on 4inch high brick, cant reverse, he c4s me, and hes on 60 health....plain stupid





i dont get the over compensation to make infantry more powerful against vehicles. the whole point of bf is teamwork. a tank is supposed to be a huge threat, the same way an attack chopper would absolutely destroy infantry out in the open. you are supposed to work together to bring these vehicles to a stop. now a single player can effectively keep the skys clear

have you tried air superiority ? i might get premium when its on promotional discount just so i can have dog fights and not have to worry about flags

in the opposite direction, fucking paracel storm and the other huge map (hanoi resort ?)...old gen console, 12v12, ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS..you spend half the game moving from one flag across shitty islands and some swimming, then you get killed by some fucking pussy who's just sat hidden in foliage on a particular flag....

Well seeing as the Multiplayer Beta is coming out soonish (or is out now) I couldn't resist JC2 for £2

It's a massive clusterfuck. It's Operation Metro all over again, and it caters to a certain audience. I suppose they needed something like this to take some of the action from CoD, but it's not one of my favourites.

That's why nobody is getting any presents from me this Xmas...

AVB was always going to struggle to see yesterday out. The biggest shock of the week for me, was Steve Clarke getting the boot at West Brom.

I still play the mod at least once or twice a week, it's one of the reasons I switched from console gaming, and upgraded my laptop to a decent desktop

Don't you dare!!!  You have a PC.  It's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better on PC.  Texture packs on console = 1 dollar.  Texture packs on PC = you can get 500 for free.  
There are so many awesome mods on PC too.  It will run better.  The controls will be better.  There's no reason to play it on console.  Please. Don't. Do. It.  

Out tomorrow apparently.
 
This opens the door for a PS4 version no doubt.

I use blast shield on most of my classes, especially my rushing ones, it doesn't restrict your view it just makes c4 and IED's into water balloons
Much more helpful than sitrep IMO.....sitrep protects you from a few explosives, blast shield protects you from much more. One thing it doesn't stop is danger close c4 and rocket launchers, so beware of that.
 
As for the class help...I use really weird classes so I can't help much   My most slayer ones like yours would be LSAT with red dot, grip and muzzle brake uses attachment perk, quick draw and stalker, that is my main slayer class, It has crazy TTK, accuracy and range, out damages nearly all assault rifle users I encounter on large maps. (Or I use the honey badger with grip and extended mags, quick draw, stalker, dead silence/awareness and marathon for smaller maps where a silenced weapon would be smarter than a loudass LMG.
 
I generally don't use lethal/tactical unless I'm using a riot shield, sniper or shotgun class. And marathon on this game is amazing, the maps are big as heck, I use it on nearly every class but my LSAT. Also try to not use silencers on your ar/lmg for big maps....Have at least one non silenced gun for big maps, and at least on silenced ar/smg for smaller more rushy maps. One other thing, a secondary pistol is much better than any one point perk or lethal/tactical IMO, having that secondary saves me a lot more than the small perks. So if you have one point left over try a handgun
 
My most successful classes are a bit different, but fun and effective if you want something different than standard slayer classes. There are two main classes, my rush class which uses a shotgun (bulldog yes I know im gay for using this thing) and the riot shield class.
 
The rush class uses k7 SMG with grip and extended mags (I find it the best smg, good silenced range and rate of fire, better hip fire IMO) or the bulldog shotgun with muzzle brake and extended mags. ( this gun is OP, you feel like a cheater using it but it puts up some nice scores haha) you can however use any shotgun or smg with 2 attachments for this setup, k7 and bulldog are just my favorite. Perks for both smg and shotgun are the same - ready up, marathon, blast shield, steady aim, dead silence and amplify.
 
My riot shield class has two variants, one is a more traditional riot shield that I have been using since mw2, the other is an overkill one.
Normal riot shield uses whatever attachment you prefer (they all have strengths and weaknesses) secondary is dual pistols, I like berretta's but any will do....just no .44's. lethal is either throwing knife or C4, their both amazing just different ways to kill people. Perks - reflex, extra lethal, blast shield and steady aim. The overkill riot shield uses an overkill bulldog with muzzle brake, c4 or throwing knife, perks - reflex, blast shield, overkill and gambler.
 
I also have a sniper class but I suck at sniping so I won't post that garbage

Prison Break is pretty torrid most of the time! That central part of the map is just a hell-hole of spraying, sniping, grenade spam and non-lethals.  It comes up regularly on the Cranked rotation and my team usually just walks into bullets from the start and then we have to play catch-up to claw ourselves back into the match.  I hate the spawns on that map too

Arsenal have done well but their Premiership fixture list has been far too generous thanks to BT buying pre-selected fixtures before the rotation release.  This has unbalanced the league and given the Gunners a string of easy ties. Now they have played Everton, Man City and now face Chelsea next week.  This would never have happened if BT weren't dictating the fixtures and you'd never see such a torrid run of games when the Premiership was decent.  Ramsey, Ozil and Giroud have gone awfully quiet against the big-boys too so I personally think their honeymoon is over and normal service of the typical Prem will resume come January. 
 
Also 3 matches in 7 days is nothing too - my team has played 4 matches in 6 days before in the Football League;-)
