J4MES OX4D got a reaction from Riff Machine in GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition
This did not age well
Take-Two Boss On Remasters: "We Don't Just Port Titles Over" - GameSpot
WWW.GAMESPOT.COM Strauss Zelnick believes there is reason why remasters from his company may perform better than the competition. This also did not age well

The Rockstar Social Club was down for the entire first day along with all their games including GTA 4 and Red Dead 2, and then the GTA Trilogy remained unplayable for two days after that because the developers left files in the game which could've impacted its legal rating due to the x-rated nature. The files have now been removed and the game is playable once more plus the RSC services are normal. Absolute shit show though and refunds should have been given across the board.

They spelled 'Welcome' wrong in the very first cutscene of Vice City
Now this is a game that is worthy of the Definitive Edition name

Burger Shot has pictures of nachos and tacos pulled from Google in the Definitive Edition. The pizza counter has pictures of hotdogs🤣
Compare that to the original which also has reflective floors...

'Body Kits Fitten'
Also the rain seems to be a screen filter and not a dynamic environmental effect

Rockstar Social Club has been down for around 24 hours so PC players have been unable to play the game. Absolute shitty DRM and I wouldn't dream of getting the game unless it was purely ran through Steam. Hopefully when Rockstar have stopped counting the cash, they'll deal with it. Terrible advertisement for the RSC though and it's no wonder people don't trust non-established clients like this shit.

Song list released - doesn't appear to be many omitted from the originals which is a surprise and a few unconfirmed whether they are in the game or not based on early footage but on the whole, excellent news! Vice City's song list alone is glorious
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition Full Song List Confirmed - IGN
WWW.IGN.COM Rockstar has confirmed the full song lists from Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition.

These are legit - looks like they've done an excellent job with Vice City.

My biggest worries is the music licences - the radio stations are some of the most iconic and memorable aspects of these games and if songs are removed then it will kill off a lot of the spirit of these games. I'm also a bit iffy about the cartoony characters in Vice City although they do look good in San Andreas.
A lot of fake footage going around - it's mostly existing mods which Rockstar shut down. Shame because some of the work that has gone into these have been absolutely extraordinary and will still likely upstage the Definitive Editions.

Looks like they'll be out in December for a whopping £70/$70 whilst the old versions are being removed from their respective digital stores. I was expecting £34.99 at a push - even the PS4 one is £60. Mafia's Definitive edition which included a brand new game cost £49.99 tops. This is another ridiculous cash grab so the gameplay actually better have a significant upgrade to even remotely justify it.
GTA: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition will cost $70, physical versions coming December – report
WWW.VG247.COM Rockstar may be ready to push Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition as a premium title, and boxed version may be coming in December.

None of the games have online play but each one comes with a magnificent standalone story. Vice City and San Andreas will definitely go down in videogame folklore.

Another Bethesda developer goes off on a 15 Tweet tirade against customers
Starfield design director calls out unfair game criticism: 'Don't fool yourself into thinking you know why it is the way it is' | PC Gamer
WWW.PCGAMER.COM Emil Pagliarulo says an awful lot of outspoken critics are "disconnected" from the realities of game development.
Apparently as gamers aren't qualified developers, they have no grounds to complain. So basically people that go to restaurants and are sold cold, raw or poor quality meals aren't allowed to complain because they aren't qualified chefs🤣
Bethesda really need to take the hit and learn from it. The amount of damage control against credible criticisms of paying customers is insane along with the disrespectful remarks and approach. People are really gonna tire of them at this rate.

They should probably just move on - the game is never gonna have a No Mans Sky-type turnaround because the core design is so flawed. They'd be better off accepting the feedback and moving onto other games. Unless they are going to remove 950 planets and massively overhaul the handcrafted ones then it'll just be the same old problems with worthless added padding.
