  1. Celtic have been fully reinstated and will be seeded for the Champions League playoff Warsaw have 5 days to appeal which I'm sure they will so this will be interesting..
  2. Free weekend on Insurgency or £5.49 for a half price full purchase.
  3. 'ull Citeh scrape through to the Europa League play-offs with a 2-1 win over Slovak side AC Trencin. Two late goals gave Real Sociemum a 3-2 against Aberdeen and 2-5 on aggregate. Also Celtic, despite losing 2-0 last night and getting dicked 6-1 on aggregate; they might get a Champions League reprieve as Legia Warsaw knowingly fielded an ineligible player despite being 4 fucking 1 up in the first place. Oh and it's the Suarez appeal tomorrow - his legal team think he stands a good chance of getting the ban halved and to be honest; he probably will due to the corrupt politics that plague football in FIFA.
  4. A Californian man is suing Sony because of Killzone Shadow Fall's 'deceptive marketing' because the multiplayer mode did not run at the advertised resolution http://www.polygon.com/2014/8/6/5975983/sony-sued-killzone-shadow-fall-1080p Wow, Sony could be on the ropes here of bankruptcy After that woman won $26,000,000,000 for her late husbands death after allegedly not knowing the dangers of smoking 30 years into his habit; it wouldn't surprise me if the bloke wins this laughable lawsuit!
  5. Yet another 'remastering' coming our way soon.
  6. Ironically; Ruud Gullit is a more fluent English speaker than both Neville and Ferdinand despite being Dutch
  7. FIFA 15 will include all the Premier League home grounds! Fucking sweet authenticity! Hate playing on their usual generic grounds for some teams. Just hope one day they include the entire football league where the pitches are sloped, portable toilets are rife and dog shit aplenty
  8. Liverpool sign non-Southampton player, shock horror! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28673375 I reckon we'll see a lot more teams in the next few years using the loan market to avoid breaching the FFP rules. Some teams have been paying parent clubs north of £5m for players plus a 100% wage contribution for their loan period as opposed to a full-blown transfer. Ah if only Norwich did that for Ricky Van Wolfswinkel last year
  9. State of Decay Lifeline DLC £1.69
  10. Ah I see
  11. Haha same! I remember on the original I stupidly used up a ink ribbon soon after saving prior and then had to play for about an hour and a half whilst battling lots of zombies and solving a couple of puzzles along with collecting lots of items and I kept dying. I must have reloaded my memory card so many times trying to get through that part all for the sake of my careless pacing. Eventually did it about a week later but it really altered the way I played those games after that. Ink ribbons were gold dust in that game!
  12. I had the original for the PS1 along with Resident Evil 2 and 3: Nemesis. Didn't get Resident Evil Survivor which was of the 'Time Crisis and House of the Dead' era. Then went on to Code Veronica on Dreamcast before finishing up with the Remake for the Gamecube plus Resident Evil Zero also on the console. Loved the original and its remake so I'm delighted about this. The second one was the best in the series though for me. The save system with type writers and needing ink ribbons made the game really challenging on how and when you save your progress. I'm sick of all these 'checkpoint' based games these days as all you do is move forwards and repeating sequences until the AI is depleted and you've reached a specific point that the level determines.
  13. http://uk.ign.com/articles/2014/08/05/resident-evil-1-getting-remastered-for-ps4-xbox-one-ps3-xbox-360-and-pc The original Resident Evil is being remastered for PS4, XB1, PC, 360 and PS3 and will arrive sometime in 2015 as a digital download. Sweet Love them to do 2+3 and Code Veronica also. Not a fan of the new ones as they are more of an action movie now and have lost the tension and atmosphere that made the originals so good. Great news!
  14. Looks like Jack Rodwell is off to Sunderland for £10m. A few injuries and he's really fallen out of favor at Man City. Probably a good deal all round.
  15. Jammy bastard. Wonder if Microsoft will come out with the HomoSexBoxual One to compete?
  16. Yeah, I get logged out randomly and I seem to be invisible Hate having to keep typing in my 1234567890 password to stay signed in
  17. Once your standard Xbox fanboy hate comment; now the Gaystation 4 is real A PS4 made to raise money for a LGBT charity. Costs just $4000 Personally the charity side of it is great but I think it's a bit offensive as it's focusing too much on the stereotype.
  18. Anyone seeing this? I've seen a fair few clips from the movie and I'm not so sure if this will be good or not. The humour seems really weak this time around and a real departure from the original series and the first movie which I thought was good but not great. The second film is definitely the last one but I fear they may not go out in much glory.
  19. I hope they finally add some meaning to the combat and escape from the usual; 'move forwards to activate checkpoint to stop enemies respawning' formula. The combat feels so bland and there are far too many scripted elements which many modern games are guilty of. Also hope it's more than just the 4-6 hours of the same old stuff.
  20. I'm really looking forward to the Advanced Warfare campaign - it looks like they've really pushed the boat out for a spectacular story, locations and characters. I haven't really enjoyed a COD campaign since MW2 in all honesty - the last few have been pretty forgettable and typically more linear and generic than ever. The Black Ops 2 campaign was intriguing with the new gadgetry and essentially a Create a Class system where you could choose you're weapons, even from the past such as the Galil and AK47 but the missions, particuarly the Strike Force ones fell flat and became annoying. Ghosts was something new in terms of narrative but essentially the same old one-dimensional styling. The characters and locations were pretty lame although there were a couple of stand-out missions that looked and played pretty good. Apart from Ghosts; I have done all the campaigns first and I definitely want to experience AW this way. I am not one of those that wants to reach Prestige 10 by December and think that rank means anything because it doesn't in COD. I can't wait to see the multiplayer in action but I think the campaign is shaping up really well and shouldn't be overlooked. I absolutely loved COD 4 and MW2's for their memorable missions on stunning backdrops such as Cherbobyl and the Russian airport. It's so tempting to jump into the multiplayer from the off but I enjoyed COD back in the day when I gradually saw the entire product unfold and not overlooking features or flitting between the modes here, there and everywhere. Campaign first for me, definitely!
  21. Man Utd v Real Madrid got 109,318 fans in Michigan which isn't bad considering it's only soccer and a poxy pre-season friendly
  22. I thought he was joking about Mark Rubin not tweeting since November but it's true He only shows his face now when he's trying to sell you something Almost a big of a ballend than that bloody Robert Bowling bloke who did a runner once Activsion got their money for MW3 and to hell with the community.
  23. Man Utd beat Real Madrid 3-1 in Michigan in front of 109,318 fans
  24. This is the price structure for the Playstation Now service beta and I am stunned at how ridiculous it is! $4.99 for just a 4 hour rental of Deus Ex Human Revolution or $30 bucks for a 90 day rental period? Bloody scandalous! I paid $3.24 for the Directors Cut on Steam and you can get it for a few dollars on eBay second hand. No option to buy and retain titles in full either. MGS 4 is $3.99 for four hours and that will barely get you past the intro I'm sorry but this is really disappointing. I was expecting to get my hands on the likes of Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid, Crash Bandicoot, Resident Evil 2 and others for just a few quid to keep permanently and not some stupid expensive rental scheme with a fixed time period. To think they slagged off EA Access for being too expensive also. Sorry Sony but this is a right royal fuck up. http://uk.ign.com/wikis/playstation-4/List_of_PlayStation_Now_Games
