Fuck the French. What a joke VAR was - the ref didn't award the penalty himself but then decided to review it when the ball was up the other end of the pitch half hour later and then the system only shows 2 angles which made it look like a penalty instead of the camera which shows that it clearly wasn't. Umtitties should've been sent off for that handball too and then Paul 'poor mans Drogba' Pogba goes and flukes a winner after being shit all game as usual. Lucky bastards!

That was a very low quality game in the end. Russia winning 5-0 but they still look very weak and Saudi Arabia were just god damn atrocious all over the pitch! Tomorrow's fixtures look interesting particularly Egypt v Uruguay and Portugal v Spain.

I can't see Activision changing their stance on this sadly. They've already trapped people who have pre-ordered on PS4 who cannot cancel if they've used any pre-order bonus on BO3. It's basically the same strategy they did for Modern Warfare Remastered - force people to pay an premium before launch and then make the content available for an even greater price as a standalone after Christmas. Them locking down digital pre-orders on the PS4 shows their intent that they don't want anyone to cancel their pre-purchases before launch and consumption of DLC6 diminishes their refund rights completely. They are immune to criticism and scrutiny because they know people will still pay up no matter what. This move stinks of Michael Condrey - he was a piece of shit at Sledgehammer and now he's going to be an even bigger one at the helm of Activision. Free DLC probably was on the cards until he got employed.

With The Division 2 coming out one month later which is an established brand; I think this game will be DOA. BioWare are already talking about the possibility of revisiting Mass Effect and Dragon Age in the future so for a small studio that's allegedly 100% dedicated to Anthem; that doesn't exactly ooze confidence especially when Anthem is clearly relying on continued future content and long term support. If this game fails; the devs may not even get another chance to make a new (old) game either. I can't see this ending well....or even beginning strongly.

They've since updated their bullshit FAQ stating that it will be available standalone at a later date. Activision are practically the only publisher left still doing this outdated season pass aspect. It will definitely hurt them this time around as people are sick of it. Free DLC is what is keeping people engaged and returning to games now. BO4 could be dead before Xmas and the only way of freshening it up is to spend £40 more on a pass when it becomes available!? This will bite them worse than the failure of Modern Warfare Remastered.

The base game content is unclear regarding the amount of maps but the Deluxe version upwards contains the Black Ops pass which is essentially a season pass of just 12 additional MP maps, COD points and other small bonuses. The base game contains MP, BR and 3 zombies episodes in total. The rumour that all DLC maps post-launch would be free was sadly bullshit.

Definitely in the EU you can cancel your pre-order anytime before release as long as you don't download anything attributed to it or consume anything that is included i.e released beforehand (e.g pre-order bonus) I think you still get two weeks after release to claim a refund assuming you don't install the material. Basically the only reason DLC 6 has been created for BO3 is so people are forced to pre-order BO4 digitally on PS4 (most expensive) and once they've used the pre-order bonus on BO3, that means they cannot refund their BO4 pre-order at all. Microsoft wouldn't allow this as per their policy of fucking over their own users with small print and if this was on Steam, Valve wouldn't allow it either with their strict refund policy on pre-ordered material. They've got PSN owners by the balls on this one and most of them don't even know it. Having said that; anyone dedicated to pre-ordering so blindly/early would never cancel their pre-order regardless but it's incredibly bad so see such sick retail tactics in play.
