  1. I pretty much agree with the list except for the spelling on Kane. It's borderline Kanye😎
  2. This game is basically Fallout Online. The series is purely a single player RPG but now they are drifting down a dangerous route of PvP only. Could be a massive success or a huge frustrating failure.
  3. Less than two weeks until the Football League kicks off😎
  4. If they carry on with The Division 2 where the first game ended, then it should be a great game right off the bat with a clear gameplay direction and lots of features. If it launches in a fairly threadbare and unspectacular state like Destiny 2 did; it'll be the same old story where people play it, max the level cap in a couple of weeks and then probably never play it again whilst the devs are working round the clock to salvage the game. I'm fairly optimistic about this one though.
  5. How many editions are they going to release of this piece of shit?
  6. This post raises more questions than I could provide answers but I honestly don't know where to begin😎
  7. These guys were massive a decade ago - shame they aren't popular anymore as most of their songs were very catchy and entertaining

    New Xbone?

Microsoft have more consoles that good games now😎 The 360 was a brilliant console with a remarkable online platform and plenty of groundbreaking franchises like Halo and Gears of War. This gen has been a total fuck up from start to finish - first they release a VHS player with restrictions that they back-tracked on like pre-owned games. They then abandoned Kinect despite having millions of unsold Kinect bundles. The console was incredibly underpowered and couldn't run old games like BF4 in full HD. They failed to invest in any in-house developement teams and instead used money to claim exclusives like Titanfall and Quantum Break which were both mediocre. Their solution to mounting problems was to release more powerful consoles but not address any pressing problems that have existed for years. All they did this year was acquire 4 indie studios working on low-budget games for their overpowered console. Bloody disaster all round.
  9. Liverpool complete the signing of Boris Becker's sister Alisson for £66m.
  10. I think we should use the Duty Calls ranking system instead😎
  11. Yeah, those things were interesting but I don't think developers found much use for them in the end. Bit strange at the time that a 128bit console would have some gimmick like that and there just weren't much use for them other than a storage device.
  12. Crazy Taxi was awesome! I also had the epic Shenmue, Resident Evil Code Veronica, Sonic Adventure, Hidden and Dangerous, Aerowings, Soul Calibur, House of the Dead 2 w/lightgun, UEFA Striker, Virtua Tennis, Metropolis Street Racer, Ferrari F355 Challenge, Tokyo Xtreme Racer plus more that I can't remember. I'm still searching for an original version of Half Life which was unreleased on the console despite some copies being produced. One of my friends spent a fortune on a copy from a former writer at a UK magazine who still had possession of the game when it was cancelled despite the full game being sent out to reviewers.
  13. Pretty controversial move but Adam Rooney left Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen to join National League side Salford City signing a 3 year deal at £4,000 a week. Bloody ridiculous Salford spending that sort of money at that level. The credibility of a player is destroyed when they are wanting to depart European football and facing the likes of Celtic and Rangers to play against teams like Maidstone, Maidenhead and Harrogate Railway.
  14. New Man Utd away shirt
  15. We got rid of tits and arses and replaced with with politics which is basically just a load of dicks and c**ts😎
  16. I know! Feels kind of weird saying it but whilst I have to accept the changing world of consoles, I'll also admit I really miss the original concept of a console having games that you can put in and play. They're just becoming glorified PCs. I don't like how console games are so reliant on online connectivity these days. Some games only contain partial data so a download is mandatory, day one patches are rife and the more and more single player games that require an internet connection is growing worryingly. Also the amount of games that are being designed around an online service in the AAA industry is just horrible now. A game like God of War champions how gaming was and should be then you have others like Far Cry 5 which just capture everything wrong with the industry these days.
  17. £30-50 is the going rate for a working second-hand one in the UK in good condition. That's about $65 top-end. If its refurbished with a guarantee and to be used just for gaming then it's a pretty sweet deal.
  18. Next console generation focus should be on getting games running at 1080p/60fps bare minimum and I think that will be achievable. PS4 has done well to produce so many ambitious titles with hardware from 2012 but with the majority of games running around the 30fps mark and not even full 1080, it's definitely showing its age even if the games are current. I certainly wouldn't expect a huge jump in quality of games or scope especially from the AAA industry but hopefully from a performance perspective, games will be running to a higher and more consistent standard straight away.
  19. The first gen systems of new generations are always horseshit versions of hardware too. The original Xbox One was visually and technically horrendous compared to the more compact and slightly more powerful Xbox One S released a couple of years later. I spent a hefty sum on a PS4 back in 2013 and all I got in the first few years was trash like Killzone Shadowfall, Knack and Watch Dogs. I could've waited a bit and then bought a Pro for a similar pricepoint when all the real quality games starting flowing like Horizon, Nier, God of War and Detroit. Xbox One X owners have already blown £450-odd on their soon to be replaced systems and will probably waste another £500 on the first gen iterations of the next generation in 18 or so months. My PC is the priority because of cheap games and raw power but if I do tap into the next gen I will certainly wait a couple of years and look to get a second iteration system which has improvements over the original console. I can see a lot of people grabbing Pro's and XB1s consoles later this year though because they'll likely be around the £200 mark and in terms of games; there will be plenty available from the last few years to choose from. Games are the same too - no point in spending £50 on a game that'll be £30 a month later.
  20. The original version of The Culling was actually one of the first Battle Royale games out there and was actually very unique and original with its crafting on the fly and gameshow aesthetic. It was a pretty successful game in the end although didn't quite grab the mass market like other BR games went on to do. The devs ruined the game though with some awful updates and their diminishing relationship with the community. The game died and the devs deserved the failure. This sequel looks like it's been concocted in a week and is just a shameful rip-off of H1Z1 and PUBG. Not only was it a shock that it was being produced, the fact it is shit just adds the icing on the cake to scummy developers.
  21. Liverpool in talks with Roma for a £62m deal to sign Allison Becker. What a tragic name for a goalkeeper to be named partly after a female and a ginger German tennis player. Next up they'll sign a striker called Tracey Hitler.
  22. 2020 is the expected launch of the new Xbox generation and that's coming from industry developers and even hinted by Microsoft themselves at E3. I'd expect Sony to be releasing their next gen then too. Sony not releasing the Pro Slim variant would suggest they financing exclusively for the upcoming gen too. Xbox One X owners must be pissed off that the already-convoluted gen where they've spent £450 on a new console will be replaced barely a couple of years later. The tech may not be obsolete but that's a pretty big kick in the teeth unless they brand the new console Xbox One X Two!
  23. He does live up to his name even if people do try and cover it up by pronouncing it 'Blint'😎 Can't believe they're still clearing out Van Gaal's garabge!
