  1. Some hilarious clips
  2. 😂 It'll be our first of the season I expect or a glamorous 0-0 draw! Looking forward to it already😀
  3. Qatar were cleared after an two year 'investigation' so there's no chance it will be moved. Too many stadiums have been built and people have died making it also. The best that can be done is all the victim countries get their expenses back for their failed bids and compensation too. FIFA has always been corrupt and will always be corrupt just like UEFA. Everyone associated with top level football around the globe is a piece of shit. People moan like fuck in the western world about pissy little things like misgendering yet in counties like that, you can be jailed for life if you're a female asking for water in a heatwave. Hopefully it'll be a good reality check for the world unless everything is covered up like it was for the Brazil world cup. I hope all those corrupt cunts get convicted but it'll never happen. Can't wait for Sepp Blatter to die in all honesty.
  4. Football League fixtures out and I must say, I'm looking forward to November 16th😎
  5. Looks great! Finally a fine successor to Castlevania
  6. Most PS4 and Xbox games run at lower presets with additional elements completely disabled as it is. There's only a few games which can run maxed out and those are built on highly established old and/or optimised current engines. The PS4 also uses a GPU from 2012 with just 2gb VRAM so it's not going to be able to cope with the latest titles running at 1080/60 anyway even with the presets at their lowest internal settings. Even 720/60 would be ambitious in some games.
  7. Which does everyone prefer? Whilst I love the scale and ambition of a lot of open world games; sometimes linear ones I just find more satisfying to play. God of War and The Last of Us are good examples of linear games done right that still offer a substantial 25-40hrs+ playthrough but don't overwhelm the player. The size of some of these modern open world games can be truly overwhelming and some don't have the gameplay backbone to truly support such a grand foundation. A good example of this is Assassin's Creed Origins and Odyssey which look amazing but the gameplay is stretched thin over a vast landscape and ultimately bloated with repetitive filler content to fill in the spaces. Some of these big games are now just too time consuming and I am beginning to prefer a more guided title which may not have the scope or complexity but offer great gameplay that doesn't exhaust or become stale that comes with transversing a huge space. I am currently playing Breath of the Wild and that is a pretty huge game that follows in the format of a lot of open world games these days and whilst it's an incredible experience; after 30 hours, I am beginning to feel the strain and this in the knowledge that I am probably not halfway through yet. I wonder how many of these hours was simply travelling rather than engaged in meaningful combat or the story. The Witcher 3 was probably the only open world game I didn't burnout over before the finale and that's because it really kept me engaged until the end. Apart from Cyberpunk 2077 and Watch Dogs Legion, I may have to think long and hard about future open world games because they are one hell of a commitment and there's a real danger that I'll become drained way before I can finish the experience. A 15-20 hour experience to last a couple of weeks is more my cup of tea now I feel.
  8. DownwardThrust and Cleanprincegaming for me. Both just commentate on the latest gaming news with overly long videos but are too stupid to understand what they're even talking about half the time as they are just repeating the media and offering no personal opinions or conclusions. Their videos have such bad titles and thumbnails, I was almost convinced at one point they were the same person. Dreamcastguy is another absolute dumbass. Someone trolled him about a PS5 'leak' and he ended up making a long video saying he was contacted by a Sony developer and had groundbreaking insider information. He came instantly unstuck when he said the new console would be using an Nvidia 1660 (mid-range 1080p card) despite Sony already announcing they'd be using AMD architecture. It was utterly embarrassing and the fact he published and retained the video for clickbait even though it made him look retarded. This guy is a proclaimed Playstation expert and is supposedly covering the new console in detail. Clueless moron. All COD cocksuckers I avoid including the new breed (Ali-A and TmarTn's replacements)

  10. The Borderlands aesthetic isn't to everyone's taste sadly. It's a shame because it's probably a better series than what Destiny is in terms of concept and execution but the visuals can be off-putting for some. I really like Borderlands but I can't help but feel if it was more realistic, I'd absolutely love it.
  11. It's absolutely incredible and even better than Ocarina of Time. I've played about 30 hours so far and I'd say it's a contender for the best game I have ever played. Sequel is also in the works which is great news!
  12. They've shown off the game to the media and their shills privately but have shunned their prospective paying customers which doesn't make sense. Cyberpunk sells itself and we've already had a 48 minute gameplay demo last year and there is so much confidence oozing in CDPR that players don't mind being kept somewhat in the dark. MW is out in 4 months and it's still in 'pre-alpha' according to the devs. We've heard so much about the gameplay but all we've got is two screenshots and a dribs and drabs of information. There's just so much suspicion and controversy within the franchise that it feels like they have something to hide. The community are getting more and more frustrated rather than hyped and confidence in the series is at an all time low. My guess is they don't want any conflict with Black Ops 4 particularly as the Days of Summer update has just been launched so they want to maximise that rather than people being distracted and saving their microtransaction money for MW instead. By now we usually have a full campaign reveal plus the MP trailer but I don't think we'll see anything until the DoS update has peaked people's interests and wallets.
  13. An interesting read here https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/gogs-quest-to-unite-all-game-launchers-just-might-work-and-microsoft-is-already-on-board/
  14. Game is out November 19th and is an Epic Store exclusive on PC after the publishers screwed their own backers over. Refunds have already been offered. Hard to say whether the game is trying to capture the past brilliance or if it's simply dated and low quality by today's standards. Animations look dreadful particularly the facial ones and the gameplay doesn't look very interesting from what's been show. The Yakuza series does everything Shenmue has done plus more and is far better mechanically and visually. I can't see this game doing too well
  15. Toonstruck FREE on GOG https://www.gog.com/game/toonstruck
  16. I will never ever use the Epic Store ever. It has less features than Steam did over a decade ago. Fuck all those developers/publishers that sold themselves out for what is essentially Fornite money backhanders. Any company willing to lose sales for the sake of receiving a lump sum up front deserves nothing. Now devs/pubs are beginning to stab their own backers in the back like the Shenmue 3 saga. Epic have moved into this domain so they can keep their company floated highly on the stock market. Once Fortnite money starts drying up, shares prices go down, company value plummets and shares get sold off cheap, so Epic need something to retain their high valuation so the share prices and overall value of the company doesn't decline. The Epic Store and launcher is merely an overnight knee-jerk feature designed solely for this purpose dressed up to pretend it's onside with publishers, developers and gamers. If a game is available elsewhere, I'll buy there or not at all. Steam is the market leader - it may have a higher percentage cut per product sold but the size of the customer base and the amount of features for the sake of a $100 publication fee is quite astonishing for developers and publishers. It's a great platform for gamers with a great UI, community elements, the workshop and with sales. It is the only one to have a fixed refund policy in place. uPlay has also improved massively in recent years with most past problems non-existent. Origin is pretty bad in terms of the interface but they do have some exclusive franchises in there which are popular so if you just wanted to play those, it's worth suffering. Origin Access is also excellent value if you are interested in a handful of EA games. Unlike Steam, you're not going to be spending too much time on there not playing games. As long as it doesn't become one launcher per major publisher, I'm happy to use a handful of established and proven ones. Bethesda already tried it, failed and have come crawling back to Steam and Epic have fucked off a few of their business associates with has seen products been removed. Ideally, I'd prefer to have my games in one place and Steam is ultimately the best across the board which is why Bethesda are back, Bungie are en route and Microsoft are joining the fray along with a few others. Epic can continue to give away as many games as they wish for free but you cannot trump experience, market presence, features and quality that other proven launchers have.
  17. Yep, it's a pretty clean and well-organised format in a familiar template. As long as they don't bloat it with unnecessary features or overly-complicated menus, it should be very user friendly and easy on the eye for everyone.
