  1. It's a great package, £30 gets you Halo Reach, Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo ODST and Halo 4 - that's like a fiver a game!
  2. Company of Heroes 2 FREE on Steam until November 17th 10am PST.
  3. Some very positive reviews coming in so far. I thought single player games were dead according to EA? Nice to see Respawn to the business again although I probably will only get this in the sale or through a one-off sub of Origin Access. £54.99 for a 10 hour game is just a bit too much especially if you can play it over the course of a month for around £12 along with 200 other games.
  4. Yeah it's pretty bad. I certainly wouldn't have this a chosen killstreak at 15 kills. What makes it worse is you presumably deploy the care package in a safe place i.e spawn, so if you get a Juggernaut, it automatically equips straight away in which then you have to suffer a painfully slow walk just to try and find some enemies. It's very easy to evade too. I would up the walk speed plus make it so you can choose when to deploy it.
  5. Halo Reach is only £6.99 and the MCC as a whole is £29.99 which is a great deal. No news on when the rest of the games will be finished though.
  6. This is the most astonishing game I have ever seen! The landing approach to Southampton looked as close to real life as imaginable and the water effects in Venice are absolutely remarkable. There is gonna be so much to see and places to visit it’s gonna be an incredible experience
  7. I haven't really noticed SBMM as much in this game as I usually put my poorer performances down to not finding many people on the larger maps, getting screwed over by the shitty netcode, having a mare against users with 725's or ones that just play dirty. It's definitely there especially in FFA but I don't think it's as prominent as it was in games like Advanced Warfare. Ideally I would like SBMM removed from all COD games and have it purely connection-based like it was back in the old days. There's just too many algorithms in play now plus lag comp can be a bitch too. Black Ops 2 started this and things have never been the same since although it's got worse since they moved to away from P2P to dedi/listen servers. At least BO2 did factor in connection as a primary but SBMM seems to take priority these days in COD games. When the Battle Pass element is released in December, I'm expecting standard users to be heavily matched with sweaty premium stream players, so I envisage the SBMM aspect to get even more noticeable also. In a months time, this game could be a very different experience and not for the better either.
  8. Halo: Reach launches December 3 on PC | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM An update to the store listing provides the date.
  9. He's posting it for clicks and attention no doubt - if this was only known to him, he should've contacted the devs privately with evidence rather than advertise it on a monetised YouTube video in which others would see and reproduce the glitch.
  10. I've been playing ground war for a few days now and I don't think I have seen this exploit in action but the more it becomes known, the more people that will try it and knowing IW, they wont plug this very quickly either I bet. Hopefully the guy that posted the video gets done for exploiting too.
  11. Mediocre selection of games at launch If it flops, it'll be yet another failed or abandoned venture to add to their massive list https://killedbygoogle.com/

    Trials

Anyone that has reached the officer ranks at level 55 can now participate in trials using earned tickets from playing the MP. These are timed challenges that can earn up to 10,000xp for each one and you get 3 goes per ticket. I'm not sure how tickets are earned but I had 10 banked at level 105 so I'd say you get maybe a couple of every 10 levels after rank 55. I've only done the first one so far which was an assault course very similar to that in MW2. Shame Classic Spec Ops wasn't more like this - I'd happily remove XP and tickets just to play casual challenges like this for fun.
  13. It's still stuck at 7/12 for me and broken. On the plus side the Missions don't seem to deselect themselves now after every match but this one is still buggered sadly! On a sidenote, the officer ranks screen is quite messy too - everything all blends into one and you have to hover over each ribbon to see what it is and how many is required to complete the challenge. Also big YouTuber's who have completed this seasonal challenge have reported their consoles either bricking or the game relentlessly crashing meaning they can't play or even access their COD account.
  14. I hate that when you unlock a calling card or emblem, it doesn’t even tell you how you did it. I dislike how missions are presented and how they function - they are also broken and still not fixed after 8 patches in excess of 25gb. There are too many challenges in operation and aside from daily’s, you are never told of your progress pre and post matches. Who wants to faff around 20+ pages of stuff just to handpick challenges? You probably complete a few after each match without even knowing. I also wish they’d remove your character walking through rubble - it’s a pointless animation that takes up needless VRAM for absolutely no purpose. In the pre-match lobby, I’d wish it would differentiate teams and show all players.
  15. I'll probably buy a physical copy next week and if I get sick of it or it's just not my cuppa tea, I'll trade it in and probably get £40-odd back. In the past I've bought new releases cheap off of eBay and traded them in for even more money, so I probably wont mind taking a punt with this one.
  16. Another patch released Update 1.08 for Modern Warfare now live - Patch Notes | Charlie INTEL CHARLIEINTEL.COM Infinity Ward has released the latest patch update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare across platforms overnight on November 12. The new...
  17. Released Thursday 14th November. Looks like they've done an amazing job on this remaster plus all previous DLC and new content is included. 25% off if you own the newly named 2013 edition also. Definitely one of my favourite strategy games of all time!
  18. Game runs on 20hz servers and is riddled with missing frames and lag at times. A lot of deaths you will feel like you’re getting melted in one hit despite the killcam showing you get hit numerous times without even flinching. Sometimes you will also ply people with numerous bullets and they don’t die or even sustain much damage as seen in he killcam if you die. There is also an issue with ghost bullets right now. Lag comp is definitely at play plus the ping numbers are all nowhere near accurate and largely fake.
  19. Don't mind although I hope they don't add too many gimmicky weapons and reduce it to Treyarch's level of stupidity. Come December when Activision flips the greed switch, we'll probably see a host of new melee weapons and stuff to buy just like what they did with MWR.
  20. Anyone tried that Krovnik Farm yet? Probably the best map in the game for me. It's not too big plus it has quite a narrow structure so matches feel more like an offensive tug of war rather than a unstructured mess of players dotted all over the place. There's no tall buildings so getting sniped is less of a concern and players seem more focused on objectives as games flow really well. You can certainly get a better read on the action and the battle for C is really entertaining too. I'd say this is fairly close to being a smaller type of Battlefield map and they've done a good job with this one.
  21. It's definitely a marmite game and not for everybody. Some of the negative reviews were pretty unfair and a couple had practically written it off before even playing it. My two concerns are getting burned out long before the end and some janky walking animations at times which could ruin the immersion. I also hate the Monster Energy product placement. Dunno whether to pick this up now, try and nab it for £15 in January or just wait for the PC version. I'll either get this or Disco Elysium - both games are pretty unique and it'll be nice to try one before Christmas.
  22. Because practically all other FPS including historic COD ones have a central viewpoint not dictated by angles. The crosshair is your eyes essentially. If you can see an enemy looking straight at them then logic would dictate that they can see you in the same way particularly when lag is not a factor. Even if you only see 66% of them and they can see 100% of you, if both players crosshairs are lined up irrespective of the 34% cover, the crosshair which should be the origin of bullets should line up on the enemy regardless of any phantom angles of the gun. Black Ops 4 also had similar issues with people bunnyhopping round corners. Bullets are typically fired from the crosshair (your head) and not the gun regardless of animations. Even on the old COD games, things like bullet pathing stemmed from the head and not the gun itself irrespective of the first person animation and 3rd person interpretation. Imgur IMGUR.COM Post with 1 views. Whatever they've done to Modern Warfare, it's not entirely on-centre and the true bullet pathing on this engine has to be analysed based on how the viewpoint works. Also the ghost bullets is a huge issue too and there's no excuse with that.
