    I probably wont get to play it until Saturday night but that should be enough time and next week it's the PC and 2nd PS4 beta so I'll be trying it on both systems and seeing how the crossplay fares. If this game can't do it then COD is well and truly done for. I'm pretty optimistic as Infinity Ward keep hitting the nail on the head in their understanding of the series. What a difference having key personnel back working in the studio makes. Only Activision and the community to worry about now.

    I enjoyed the England game last night. Playing outside of shitty Wembley and against a side who wanted to play football made it a very entertaining match. It was pretty harsh on Kosovo being 1-5 down so I'm glad they got some recognition - the game could've easily turned out to be a 8-1 mauling but after the second half, even 5-3 flattered England. We have no problems going forward but our defence is woeful plus the midfield really fell apart so many times. I think Gareth is probably being a bit too generous and casual - seems any prospect can walk into the England team. He really needs to select and play his best 11 at any given time and really make players work for a call up. Too soon for players like Mount and WTF is Chillwell, Rice and Keane doing in the team?

    I had a quick go at the bootcamp and everything feels and looks great. Cannot wait to get started! The optimisation seems solid and the options are vast. My only disappointment is the game has forced TAA and no other anti-aliasing options. I would've preferred a config option to disable it entirely as this adds a little blur. Still looks great though

    I remember getting Gears of War 4 through the windows store, downloading about 80gb of the base game which was probably the biggest download I ever did back then. When I went to start the game, a 4mb update was required and every time I tried to install this, it failed. I tried all the standard fixes and even go through to Live support where they told me to reinstall the entire game - I said fuck that, I want my money back and thankfully got it. Even the MS support worker said himself that it was unreliable as fuck downloading from the Windows Store😂

    I think players have to opt in to crossplay and you can party with friends on other systems. Details are still rather convoluted about crossplay but thankfully that beta is only a couple of weeks away.

    Do this before the end of the month to continue your character(s) on the Steam version Bungie.net WWW.BUNGIE.NET Any data not transferred is deleted. The process is very quick but not entirely clear so make sure the bar at the top is green once you are logged in and have completed the transfer process.

    Anyone picking this up? It's on Steam and the MS Game Pass. I enjoyed the series on the 360 but I'm not sure if the gameplay still holds up - it does look fantastic though as always. I had GoW4 which I got cheap but never bothered to play it because it was 130gb on PC thanks to the shitty windows store and their terrible file compression. This one is certainly getting decent reviews.

    Volta looks very disappointing for me. I was interested in something like FIFA street but the mode just looks a bit wonky and underwhelming as well as being very cheesy. A wasted opportunity it seems.

    Exactly. Bury got kicked out on the same day Bolton got a two week extension. Perhaps if Bury just registered fans to play each week until a deal was secured, they also would have got an extension. All Bolton did was take advantage of academy players who weren't being paid. Both Bury and Bolton were registered to play this season with the only difference being Bury didn't employ a load of voluntary workers to prolong the agony. Typical EFL though; rules are different for each club.

    2v2, 6v6 and Ground War (player count unconfirmed) is included in the beta along with the gunsmith. A code will only get you one day extra per weekend. The beta is open for a couple of days on each week so you don't need to pre-order.

    Talk of Bury being reinstated to League 2 for next season with other clubs being consulted about this possibility. I think this would be the best solution - relegated Bury this season by default and then allow them to compete again if they can prove their sustainability by early next year. They would have to be monitored closely and they cannot be as reckless as they have been in recent years. The EFL bear a considerable amount of responsibility for the situation so it would be brutally unfair to liquidate them entirely when certain things were forced upon them. Police are also investigating potential internal fraud. Bolton have manged to assemble a senior squad to complete for the rest of the season. Lots of teams got a free hit against them resulting in a few 5-0's so it's brutally unfair on the teams that have to play them in their better state. They should have been relegated by default and reintroduced next year and should not have been allowed to start the season in the state they were in.
