  1. Pretty good read about PC gaming a decade ago What PC gaming was like in 2009 | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM Before we move into the next decade in PC gaming, let's take a trip back in time.

  4. The survey itself is nothing to do with the overall quality of the game - Activision clearly want to know why so many people have abandoned what was supposed to be a rejuvenating title in a very tiring franchise. They are probably working on their financial projections and season 2 strategy also. I think it's a decent COD title marred by some terrible design decisions right off the bat and issues that are still yet to be fixed despite 11 patches totaling over 70gb. Ironically, the amount of points in the survey actually demonstrates how many widespread concerns there are. I remember getting a lot of flak on here for not liking WW2 and leaving the game soon after launch citing the lies from Condrey and Schofield, the ver1.0 rollback scam and their sheer ignorance towards the community regarding feedback. A few months later, those two clowns were removed from the studio by Activision and the remaining staff at SHG then began to implement all the feedback they had garnered since launch plus made sweeping changes which drastically improved the game. It was almost unrecognisable from the original from the Condrey and co regime. Biggest u-turn in COD history but too late in the day even against a struggling BO4. I think Modern Warfare has a lot of varying issues that has put people off from playing. IW have ignored a lot of feedback so far and have even trolled the community for it. Even their big announcements and updates have fallen flat and caused more issues. This game needs a major overhaul and a survey like this from the top could be a good starting point to get the ball rolling. It's probably too late in the day but IW did salvage Infinite Warfare to a degree albeit that game having less issues. If they pull off what Sledgehammer did with virtually no staff, then it will be amazing. Make no mistake, when big Activision-pampered YouTuber's criticise and abandon the game, there is definitely a big problem in the eyes of the publishers...and shareholders of course.
  5. Just seen a Tweet from yesterday about a playlist update and it's confirmed that Gunfight has been replaced. Another beyond dumb move from IW - probably trying to warm people up for the inevitable battle royale bollocks
  6. I think RE3 started off quite frantic running through the streets and alleys trying to get to the RCPD station. The original starts off in the mansion pretty much and RE2 is at the gas station. 3 definitely threw people in at the deep end from what I vaguely remember.

    GTFO

GTFO IS EA WTF!? Too expensive for my tastes especially this time of the year. My money will be going on the Steam Winter sale. I was looking forward to this game but I expected the finished article and it doesn't look anywhere near as refined as the preview builds.
  8. I've dusted off my PS4 and put together some screenshots I've grabbed from over the years from the likes of Destiny, Spiderman, God of War, TLOU, HZD, Uncharted 4:
  9. Game hasn't been out two months yet and Activision have already sent out the 'our game is dying badly' survey. This also coming right after their 'biggest' free content launch ever. They've also got a few YouTuber's shilling with random positive videos uploaded like clockwork with one another - a desperate tactic used previous when a game is heading to life support. Sadly with the way IW is going, I doubt any feedback given through this will make a blind bit of difference
  10. Arsenal 2-1 Barcelona 10 Years Later... Arsenal 1-2 Brighton Currently 1-0 down to West Ham - it'll be Arsenal v Wycombe next year at this rate! *edit good and much needed 3-1 win in the end. West Ham really back in the shit.
  11. That's the Gunfight OSP mode that was in the beta which got added to the main game recently. I haven't played since this came in so I don't know how it appears in the mode select menu but the Gunfight (original) is still in the game apparently. Just ensure you or the party leader doesn't select this or it is removed from the filter if it's in that.
  12. HC mode is the way to go for those assuming the stats are actually tracked..
  13. Shoothouse 24/7 is back and replaces Crash 24/7. I am stunned at the negativity surrounding Crash in this game - I haven't played on it yet but they must have really fucked it up to be received so poorly even by the biggest COD apologists. Just wondering what they'll do to shipment - probably add container doors and allow players to get on top of them as well as adding a couple of headglitch spots. I also dread to think how many doors Vacant will have.
  14. I know, what a ripoff!
  15. Arsenal kick off at 20:15 tonight and it's not even a Thursday Europa League match! Sheff Utd in contrast k/o at 19:30. Weird.
  16. Bad result for Spurs but it's all about the response now. Will Mourinho start cracking or can he put it behind him... Great to see Alli back in form but they really need to sort out the defence.

  18. Tonight has 0-0 written all over it😁 I'd like to think Jose can rekindle some of his past brilliance even if it was rather annoying and boring to watch. I'm not entirely sure his style is still relevant or effective these days though. No matter how bad Spurs have been in the past, they have always entertained regardless and it will be a shock if things changed but I don't think it will with the players they have. I think Spurs are a more exciting team than what Chelsea were back in the day and Louis Van Gaal's Man Utd who were equally dull in which Jose was lumbered with. I think Mourinho needs to keep his head and ego in check. I thought Man Utd would be his last chance in English football but he's been given a huge opportunity in what is his residential home town as opposed to being locked up in a hotel. If this doesn't work then he wont get a big European team again and his management ability will redundant. He has the players, he has the record and he has a massive chance here - Spurs need trophies and he has the lot so it could be the best for both parties or a major setback that could have a dire knock-on effect in the future.
