  1. The Bus [PC] - decent early access game - a bus sim set in a fully scaled Berlin.
  2. 18 months! Every time Call of Duty has left Battlefield an open goal, DICE have missed. Had BF4 been as good as it was down the line from day one, Ghosts would've been obliterated in the first week. Had they not told people not to buy BF5 because they didn't like fighting as cockney one armed ginger lesbians with cricket bats from the 18 centrury, that would have comfortably destroyed Black Ops 4 also.
  3. As long as I don't have to bash a rock against a tree, I'm not complaining. Wouldn't mind an extra gameplay layer added rather than just eating coloured herbs! Also sacrificing bullets could be a nice dilemma a bit like the old Ink Ribbon save days.
  4. I do miss the traditional Resident Evil games and I would love an new original over the shoulder camera title like the RE2 Remake. According to the developer interview last week, Village will be heavily inspired by RE4 and it will connect significantly with the original games but I cannot see the latter and I think this is more marketing talk. It feels more fantasy now than science fiction but it's nice to see them do something original. They really need to expand on the protagonist here though especially if he's coming back for 9 to complete the trilogy. First person and no third person cutscenes was a bit of a disconnect in 7 so if they are just muttering a few lines and making some noises, it's not very engaging even being in the first person perspective. Does appear that Ethan (I had to look up his name) will have a more broader role but even so, that could once again just be marketing talk.
  5. Spurs and Man City both get 2,000 tickets for the EFL final Carabao Cup final: Man City & Tottenham to have 2,000 fans each at Wembley final - BBC Sport WWW.BBC.CO.UK Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City will both have 2,000 fans at Wembley for the EFL Cup final on 25 April. With only 4,000 fans in attendance, Man City will feel right at home as it'll be just like the Etihad😎
  6. New brief trailer from Game Infomer with some exterior scenes that look great
  7. Looking forward to this
  8. That's the retail cost, not the production cost. Of course it's going to cost twice the amount at consumer level but from a manufacturing one, there is very little difference. If Sony and Microsoft included 2tb models right off the bat and kept the unit price the same or slightly raised, that would cut the thriving wholesale drive market in half. They will not throw their own suppliers under the bus especially when there is a market to be milked for the next few years. This market along with peripherals is the real money maker so they will not show their hand for a while yet but in two years time, the same drives costing the same to produce as they are now will be sold in higher capacity at 30%+ off with no loss incurred - just shrunken margins. The difference in the drives may be twice the capacity but to make them, it makes very little difference. There are still low-spec hard drives being built right now that cost more to make than a top-end, high capacity SSD.
  9. People must be experiencing some pants shortages or something! Literally every local headline in the UK is their own Primark Store having queues a mile long.
  10. Sony have been known to have clear-cut exclusives in place so for any of their in-house studios to be in limbo or being directed to rehash projects, it's a bit of a concern. A year ago, a new Uncharted would have been an absolute certainty. I think quite a few people are worried about exclusives finally drying up and with Bethesda joining Microsoft and potentially others like Konami in talks, it could lead to some long term concerns in a general lack of games available. It's great we're getting a new God of War and Horizon this year and Gran Turismo next but Sony should really be having a conveyor belt of exclusives set in stone already and certainly not a remastered remake which is a waste of resources.
  11. I don't really know what's going on with Sony or why they think releasing a game that's not even 10 years old for a third time is a good idea. Sounds like they don't want to take any 'risks' with a Days Gone sequel or Uncharted 5 but instead they'll play it ultra-safe and rehash a remaster instead of commissioning something new or allowing their in-house teams to produce what they wish. Days Gone took ages to make at a high cost and although it still made a profit, it wasn't up to their usual exclusive standards. Naughty Dog have also turned into woke extremists trying to appease journalists more than please gamers so it would seem Sony are trying to keep them under control without having to lose the studio as a whole. It's very strange that Sony would take this stance unless there were serious concerns especially with their exclusive options being as limited as they are already. I don't believe a TLOU Remaster Remake will bring in much money either despite it being a proven classic. Sounds like the studios will be kept on the books but they wont receive any significant backing until they find something solid to work on.
  12. There will probably be 5 playable maps at launch😅 Last we heard, Sledgehammer were virtually disbanded and now they are making a full game from scratch on an 18 month cycle during a pandemic? It's got bad news written all over it. The amount of money Activision makes, they don't even need an annual release these days. As soon as it was announced as a WW2 game, I knew it was gonna struggle.
  13. A single 2tb drive wouldn't make any significant difference to the cost from a manufacturing standpoint compared to the same drive with a 1tb capacity. They likely don't want to impact the estimated component prices in the drive market by being too generous and obviously wanting to milk this aspect for a couple of years at least. By the end of 2023 we'll probably see 2tb PS5 Pro Slims 30% cheaper than the base model right now with very little change to the production costs compared to now.
  14. Oh dear, this is rather amateur Outriders player discovers 23GB of crash dumps stuffed in a Windows folder | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM If you've been wondering where your free C drive space has been going, look here.
  15. Probably because they possibly have an official drive in the works or they are cutting a deal with an existing manufacturer. Doesn't look like they wanted users to rush out and buy any 3rd party crap from day one. Both Microsoft and Sony have fucked gamers over though - 1tb is a shockingly low amount especially when there is less than 70% that is usable. Warzone takes up 1/3 of the console right off the bat. The only reason I know my storage is fine is cos I have jack shit installed on it!
  16. Days Gone is out in two weeks on Steam Phil😎 Days Gone on Steam STORE.STEAMPOWERED.COM Ride and fight into a deadly, post pandemic America. Play as Deacon St. John, a drifter and bounty hunter who rides the broken road, fighting to survive while searching for a reason to live in this open-world...
  17. They are remastering a remaster of The Last of Us😔 Days Gone 2 and Uncharted 5 also cancelled by Sony which is a major blow too. I honestly cannot believe they’re doing TLOU a third time - total milkage! https://www.eurogamer.net/amp/2021-04-09-naughty-dog-reportedly-working-on-the-last-of-us-remake
