Gun game is a lot of fun, just like in past CoD's...glad they got it in

Could you add Ghosts and borderlands 2 to mine for 360, and smite and minecraft for PC?

Right, I've done some research and homework.
 
First off, I'm looking into organizing something that's totally independent from the marathon, an event which people can attend and maybe have competitions, bring along some of the guys the charity support and have a good time for all of us.
 
I approached my forum representative within BT (not internet forum, an actual forum) and she sounded positive about the idea and mentioned that it fits in perfectly with the BT brand.
 
Provided that BT is willing to help us out with a venue, I'd then start looking at getting sponsored by companies like Monster, Relentless, Red Bull, maybe approach some companies for catering, speak to the likes of GAME, Scan, Overclockers, etc etc, maybe get some PCs lent to us, consoles, whatever we can get to turn this into an awesome event for these guys and hopefully raise as much cash as possible.
 
My wife and I will organize everything once we've got a go-ahead from BT, she'd be great for this what with her outstanding management skills, so I'm feeling quite confident that we will in some way or another manage to organize an excellent day out.
 
I'll also be exploring options to accept virtual currencies such as Bitcoin, Litecoin and perhaps most importantly Dogecoin, the following of which recently gained press coverage worldwide by helping raise $30k to send the Jamaican bobsled team to the Winter Olympics.
 
In short I'm exploring every avenue possible and will be reaching out to many companies to help us get this off the ground.
 
If anyone has any other ideas please drop them in this thread and let's turn this idea into an awesome day of fundraising and awareness for those less fortunate than ourselves, so that they may enjoy the games we all take for granted.

I actually finished my challenege a few weeks ago. I just forgot to post. The game has kind of sapped my energy to be honest so didn't feel like i was happy about it.
Still it's kinda cool when people look at your specs and see your favourite weapon being the throwing knife!

You could get about any old dog just for the alarm reason, the dog will bark if anyone is nearby, we had a little jack Russell terrier...that little guy would go nuts and bark nonstop whenever there was a deer, mouse, person ect outside. Dog barks, then you grab your gun. I don't really have experience with big dogs, but I would be worried about them hurting someone who doesn't mean any harm (young kids).

I understand wanting things to be like the 'glory days', but that didn't stop me from not playing Black Ops. No reason for a game to get someone so pissed off. Absolutely, no reason. I stopped playing. And to this day think it was the crappiest CoD to date.
 
The thing we can look forward to in CoD is there will always be another one next year. But now I have this mind set especially since MW3, I don't give a fuck. I don't care if my K/D is .01, I just don't care. I'm not as good as I was, I don't take the game as seriously as others and I just don't think it's worth getting pissed off about, especially if people are getting pissed off with real life happenings.
 
No way in hell should we let a game piss us off on top of the bullshit we deal with at work or home. That's exactly what was happening with me, dealing with the death of my grandmother and playing a game that was utter shit. Not a good combo. So what did I do? I waited 'til MW3 and played other games until then.
 
Since I've lightened up while playing CoD, it's easier to play without wanting to rage quit. I know some of you guys break controllers when you're pissed off... Just how? That's sad in my eyes that people have $50 to waste over a game. That just should NOT happen and it completely wows me.
 
And Brede, I'm struggling to find where someone said that you can't complain in the complaint thread? I see a lot of people complaining that there is complaining littered all over the forum, when it should indeed just be in the complaint thread. Right? Perhaps, i'm missing something.
 
 
Anyways, my whole point in this post is to turn the game off before you get too pissed off, or just plain lighten up. I'm not telling anyone to not play the game, although if it's causing so much stress, then I would advise that not playing it would be the best route since it helped me.

I have some tips if this game is pissing you off.
 
 
Smoke weed first.   Then play.

So after a huge pain in the ass of a download on Friday, and a busy Saturday, I got about 6 hours to play on Sunday. It's not as much as I'd have liked but I feel like I still got a pretty good idea of what the game was like. I spent the vast majority of the time as a Khajiit Nightblade.
 
So after a short intro you are brought into character creation. I loved it. If you're an Altoholic like me (or at least like the character creation process), then you'll be pleased. The races all looked pretty good and there were a huge number of customization options, from the angle of your forehead to the size of your hands. I spent a decent time going through all the options and decided it's among the best character creations I've seen in an MMO (And I've played my fair share). I also took this opportunity to look at the higher level gear and was once again pleased. Each race had high-end gear that reflected their personality whilst being consistent with Elder Scrolls Lore. It should be noted that some of the low level gear (particularly the medium armour) didn't look great, though I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem for long.
 
After character creation you are brought into this weird soul prison. You meet 'The Prophet' who gives you information about why you are there and what you must do. I won't go into details about the story so far but as Sennex said he basically tells you that you're special. The prison is a tutorial level and it was pretty boring. It was dark so didn't show off the graphics and the lack of skills at this point meant combat was pretty boring (I'll go into that later). It takes about 10 minutes to go through the tutorial depending on how much you look for loot, so this could be a bit annoying when starting several new characters.
 
When I finished the tutorial I found myself in a small camp (the starting area for the Khajiit, Bosmer and Altmer races). This was the first time I got to see how beautiful the game really was. I was highly impressed with the looks of the game as a whole and can tell I'll spend a lot of time just exploring the world of Tamriel. Before I would have said that Guild Wars 2 was the best looking MMO I've played, but The Elder Scrolls Online is definitely a new contender. I was approached by a khajiit who set me off on my first chain of quests.
 
The quests in the starting are were also impressive, there was no "Go to Quest Giver, Kill 8 Wild Boars and Wolves for meat, return to Quest Giver, recieve 200 gold". I had an instance where I was running up from the shore when a woman ran to me for help. I had to run through some ruins and free her master from an evil spirit. It seems a lot more inspired in that aspect.
 
Whilst I've made the game sound pretty good so far, I do have one main concern. The combat. It neither had the complexity of other MMO's such as WoW or the fluidity of single player games like Skyrim. I think I had 5 abilities as well as a regular and heavy attack. There was also a limited amount of abilities to unlock, around 6 for the three skill trees as well as a few for armour, weapons and races.I was able to link up some abilities well however. I could use the 2 second stealth, followed up by a heavy damaging backstab with bleed. Then crippling the enemy as they try to escape. The combat was sometimes laggy with an enemy taking a few seconds to fall after I killed it, thus causing confusion as to what exactly was happening. I never tried out PvP which I regret, since I'd like to have seen how multiple classes could link up together.
 
Overall I think the game is more suited for a casual MMO player, with it's strong points being on looks and story rather than the gameplay itself. Whilst I'll be picking it up, with the looks, story and exploration greatly interesting me, the boring combat may mean I'll put it down sooner than expected.

I apologize now to Brede and anyone else that is here bashing this game. GET THE FUCK OVER IT!!! If you don't like, stop fucking playing it. Trade it in and get something else. The game has been out for well over 2 months now and you are still complaining about the same fucking things/ It's getting real old.
 
I play this game and quite frankly, I'm having a blast playing it. Are there issues? Certainly but there have been issues with every COD, YES, every COD. Get over it. One thing that I have learned as I continue to enjoy playing this series, is that there is a learning curve for each game. Quite honestly, with all the bullshit that is in the game (spawns, IEDs, maps too large, re-skinned map, etc, etc etc) this is by far the easiest CoD to date. Fuck Campers, quick scopers and all the fucking douche bags that play this game. If you get in a lobby and you get destroyed by a bunch of campers, find a new lobby. Don't stay and aggravate yourself. Better yet turn the game off.
 
So once again, I apologize but I'm just tired of reading all the bitching and moaning. By the way, you run into bullshit no matter what game you play. It's just the nature of gaming. Funny how you never hear the pros bitching about this stuff. And if they have I'll shut the fuck up.

Yeah, If I do upgrade consoles I will 100% get a ps4, not even considering the xbone. If I do that it will be sometime later this year...school is expensive lol.

One of the best and most sensible posts i've seen relating to COD and current state of play.
The main problem with COD is the community not the actual product that is produced

In the Army, it is push-ups, sit-ups and 2 mile run.  In my opinion, being able to pull up your own weight is a better judge of fitness than doing push-ups and sit-ups.  Having to pull up your own weight (or another person) actually might save your life, depending on the situation. 
 
Women have no business being in infantry units, on the front lines, or being put in positions in which they might have to engage in combat. Not only are they psychologically less capable, but they also mess with the morale of the troops, undermine the cohesion of the unit and generally just fuck everything up.  They are constantly reminding everyone about sex. That's just what women do. The way they talk, the way they act, everything.  I saw it first hand.  And when you don't acknowledge their approaches, but instead try to remain professional, they act like something is wrong with you.  They are perpetual children.  Are there exceptions to this; of course.  But for the most part, they need to be in the rear with the gear.  Men and women are not equal. Instead of trying to treat everyone equally, we should instead be catering to the strength of each sex and their traditional roles that have been set for most of human history. 

There are 300,000 online for the 360 right now....no idea what it is on other platforms though. I know it is a matter of time until CoD is outdated and forgotten but I dunno if it has happened yet.

I use blast shield on most of my classes, especially my rushing ones, it doesn't restrict your view it just makes c4 and IED's into water balloons
Much more helpful than sitrep IMO.....sitrep protects you from a few explosives, blast shield protects you from much more. One thing it doesn't stop is danger close c4 and rocket launchers, so beware of that.
 
As for the class help...I use really weird classes so I can't help much   My most slayer ones like yours would be LSAT with red dot, grip and muzzle brake uses attachment perk, quick draw and stalker, that is my main slayer class, It has crazy TTK, accuracy and range, out damages nearly all assault rifle users I encounter on large maps. (Or I use the honey badger with grip and extended mags, quick draw, stalker, dead silence/awareness and marathon for smaller maps where a silenced weapon would be smarter than a loudass LMG.
 
I generally don't use lethal/tactical unless I'm using a riot shield, sniper or shotgun class. And marathon on this game is amazing, the maps are big as heck, I use it on nearly every class but my LSAT. Also try to not use silencers on your ar/lmg for big maps....Have at least one non silenced gun for big maps, and at least on silenced ar/smg for smaller more rushy maps. One other thing, a secondary pistol is much better than any one point perk or lethal/tactical IMO, having that secondary saves me a lot more than the small perks. So if you have one point left over try a handgun
 
My most successful classes are a bit different, but fun and effective if you want something different than standard slayer classes. There are two main classes, my rush class which uses a shotgun (bulldog yes I know im gay for using this thing) and the riot shield class.
 
The rush class uses k7 SMG with grip and extended mags (I find it the best smg, good silenced range and rate of fire, better hip fire IMO) or the bulldog shotgun with muzzle brake and extended mags. ( this gun is OP, you feel like a cheater using it but it puts up some nice scores haha) you can however use any shotgun or smg with 2 attachments for this setup, k7 and bulldog are just my favorite. Perks for both smg and shotgun are the same - ready up, marathon, blast shield, steady aim, dead silence and amplify.
 
My riot shield class has two variants, one is a more traditional riot shield that I have been using since mw2, the other is an overkill one.
Normal riot shield uses whatever attachment you prefer (they all have strengths and weaknesses) secondary is dual pistols, I like berretta's but any will do....just no .44's. lethal is either throwing knife or C4, their both amazing just different ways to kill people. Perks - reflex, extra lethal, blast shield and steady aim. The overkill riot shield uses an overkill bulldog with muzzle brake, c4 or throwing knife, perks - reflex, blast shield, overkill and gambler.
 
I also have a sniper class but I suck at sniping so I won't post that garbage
