Try doing this from a PC... because it just makes it less frustrating. Let me know how far you get. Go through the support options. Pick the game and platform. Go here: https://support.activision.com/options Click the appropriate options (FYI, I clicked "I'm unable to access my Activision Account" to get to the screen after this; scroll past the image): I want you to get here: Click the "Account Recovery Request" and get to: Let me know what happens after this... like if you can resolve your locked out issue or not. Take screenshots along the way, so I can see what you did if I have to go further.
-
Phew. Don't panic. Let me dig around and see if I can find some resolution options for you. While I do that, hopefully someone else can answer...

Fake Audi? Explain... Also, when in 2022 are you thinking? And how far/close to Nürburgring would you be willing to stay? We could look into AirBnBs nearby or whatever...

This has been a "must do" trip topic among my and @TurboR56Mini 's IRL friends. If we get like at least 10 people to agree to this, I could try to negotiate room rates at some hotel? This would be an exciting trip.
-
I think you and I pestered @Bluebear at the same time lol. You've got a full raid team now. 😄

Like... IRL trip? @TurboR56Mini

4/28/2021 Workout 15 minute AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) 20 box jumps 2 rounds: 6 hang cleans @ 65lbs 6 front squats @ 65lbs Thoughts: Yesterday morning, I cancelled my 5am gym session. Just was tired. Wanted to go back to sleep. So I did. I seem to be starting to shift to the afternoon class. Not that I want to. I don't know the people in that class. But, I can't seem to get up in the morning anymore lol. Well, I'm up. I'm just not fully awake. Thus, I signed up for 5:30PM class. Because 1) I got my new workout shoes in! I haven't had new shoes in like 7 - 8 years. Got some Kinis Pro Training Shoes! When I started this "Actually sort of focusing on healthy stuff" back in 2011, I had some Vibrams, which I loved. I could feel the ground. I could feel what I'm trying to do. After going through far too many pairs of those, I got some Nano 3. I hate Nano 3. I can't feel anything in them. I couldn't confidently box jump because I couldn't feel where my feet landed on the box. I couldn't do hard turns when sprinting. I couldn't do coordination drills. Like, I could do all of them, but not as well as I could in my Vibrams. Anyway, I wanted to try out my new shoes. 2) I signed up for the 5:30PM class because I was more mentally and energy-wise ready for the gym. 3) I actually wanted to do this workout. 4) Supposedly, only 4 other people signed up for the class. We have a 9 person limit. So, off I went. First person there because I need time to stretch and roll out. 5 minutes before class, people start trickling in. What.the.actual.fuck. We're full? Why are we full? Noooooooooo... says my anxiety. But, one of the guys from my 5AM class was there.. and he would be in the box next to mine. Because my gym uses big tires that double as our boxes, I had to share my tire with my 5AM partner. "No worries," I told him, "after the first round, I'll time myself to start my jumps after you. You know I like my rest anyway!" Before we started on the workout, Coach James said, "You know what... let's do a 200m run to start our warm up." I immediately blurted out, "Yeah. How about no?" Everyone just burst out laughing. But, everyone also knows I'm not really serious about my protests... I just say what everyone else is thinking haha. Off we ran. Then, off we did our warm-up and workout. This was a breather. But I guess all of them are. I enjoy anything with barbells. I focused a lot on my form for the cleans because that's what I need to focus on. The weight wasn't heavy enough for me to really perfect my form, but that's okay. I still needed to actually do them unbroken. Good times. Enjoyed the shoes. Need to buy more socks for them. My super thin socks won't cut it, and I only have 1 pair of Bombas that would work well with these.

The OpenDev map sort of wants me to stab my eyeballs out... mostly because I cannot stand being so close to other AIs immediately. There are 3 other AIs are literally surrounding me, and it's driving me to anger lol. Expanding your territory in Humankind is very tempered. Again, you cannot just build outposts then cities. You have to generate enough culture to do so. So, this run, I've focused more on Culture then Science. Doing a bit better. The banter with the AIs during negotiations are actually entertaining and not irritating like in Civ 6. Oh, and a la Endless Legend, there are choices to be made when stumbling on encampments or whatever. I definitely almost lost track of time last night while playing. I missed my normal bedtime for 5AM gym, so I skipped gym today haha.

@Bluebear - you in for the 6th spot?

It's no secret that when I buy something, I research the hell out of it and get a product and/or brand that aligns as close as possible to my ethos and to the quality I want... and price... price is a factor. When @TurboR56Mini and I were renovating the game room, we knew what our setup was sort of going to look like. Once COVID quarantine hit, getting various pieces in place became a bigger priority. I didn't want an ugly ass computer chair... and those IG/home magazine photo worthy chairs are really just dining chairs and don't work for what we need. I didn't want to spend $1500 on a Herman Miller chair either. So, we landed on SecretLab. Fantastic quality. Not a "one size fits all". Smaller company. Now, they announced their computer desk! Such thoughtful features especially for cable management. If I sound excited and super plug-y... it's because I'm super excited about the design features even though we will not be buying one (our custom walnut table/desk was designed to fit perfectly in the room, and we see no point in swapping it out). But for those of you are are looking for a computer desk... I share their Magnus: https://secretlab.co/pages/magnus-metal-desk Really such thoughtful features!

I was a bit confused on his power.. is it like an invincible fighting shirt thing that gives him various hand-to-hand combat weapons? If so, then who doesn't want an almost god-mode shirt for a death tournament lol. I think video game adaptations just need to find the right support to do them well. Comics book adaptations took how many fails until we got the MCU and Arrowverse (which, side note, Arrowverse is not doing well since Stephen Amell "retired" from the series). People forget that even single games have, on average, 30 - 40 hours of gameplay, like 3 hours-ish of cutscenes. You're not going to boil down a whole story like that into 2 hours and do it well. If we look at this movie like a "test the waters for a new franchise", then you can definitely get 1 solid movie on some of the back story on Bi-han and Hanzo. If anything, one of the silver linings of COVID, in terms of audience attention spans, is that audiences (in general) can and are willing for stories to be lengthier and over multiple installments if the conclusion is worth it. I have a favorite book series that will never be able to be properly told as a 3 or even 4 part movie series. It's better as a series like GOT. Multiple seasons. Resident Evil sort of has some footing in the movies? But, I'm not willing to fully sacrifice a few brain cells to watch it lol.

Hmm? Because her ending up being a damsel in distress was better?

It's a blind raid for those who haven't don't Vault of Glass... You know that saying about something being new to some but not others? Yeah. That's what's going on. 😄 If May 14 or May 21... 8:30PM isn't too late for you and @Venom if @TurboR56Mini can't get the day off...

My issue with tea bags is 1) paper taste. I can't stand it. 2) it's actually woven with some plastic as well. No thank you. 3) tea leaves don't expand as well in a bag. Also, has anyone here tried tea from TWG Tea? I have an assortment, and I'm enjoying them. They have so many different blends for Earl Grey too. I question whether all you Earl Grey haters just haven't had a properly brewed cup with a touch of milk! As for the rancid coffee cups, hahaha.. I'm going to guess a majority of those cups were filled with milk and coffee.. not just straight, black coffee! And.. hush you. Tea has infinitely more flavors and notes available than coffee ever will. There's only so many times you can use "chocolate" as a note in a beverage! Sometimes, I like my drink a bit fruity or having notes of rice krispies or some vanilla or orange... All notes that you have to really strive to taste in coffee. There's no effort in tasting them in tea. 😄

You know.. I was pleasantly surprised with this movie. But considering the previous MK movies, there was not really a bar for the new one to even hop over haha. Was it cheesy? Yeah, but it wasn't painful. It was enjoyable. I'm still a little all "I'm not sure how I feel about Sub-Zero being the villain, and Scorpion being the hero." If they open this up into a series, I hope they go into the story a bit... like there's a reason Hanzo immediately knew it was Bi-Han who just murdered his family aside from the ice everywhere. I would like to see them go into that. The fact that they wove into the movie individual fights was somewhat clever. I thought that was good on them to figure out how to do it. Agree that 90 minutes wasn't going to give anyone all the lore. This was a taste of what's possible. If they can get more funding and more audience and turn it into something worth while. But, that's always the trick with these things. Can you create a formula for a series to ensure that every installment after the first one is going to be great? Marvel has set the bar so high on that front... @TurboR56Mini and I laughed a bunch of times during the movie on some of the silliness... but still an enjoyable movie.

@Ajay - what do you think about doing Day 1 Vault of Glass with the clan? (slightly hijacking the thread... but I want to get it out there!)

4/26/2021 Workout Rowing Class Thoughts: Oh, how I despise cardio. However, being that Coach Jonesly has seen an improvement in my stamina (he counts how many times I stop during 3 minutes of jumping rope), I guess I have to keep it up. This is the only thing that will keep my heart rate up for an extended period of time. I've decided that I will probably finish out my class package, then sign up for the online class/video thing and just do it in my gym. I was still pretty spent today, so I didn't go really hard during the session. Only hit 6,544m. Just didn't have it in me to go harder. But, I actually had the best split time so far at 1:53. Sleep is climbing up on my priorities for the next two days. Tomorrow is rest day!

The fact that a country that started a global empire over tea... can't seem to actually brew a proper pot of tea without using a horrendous tea bag... is in itself also hilarious. @GazzaGarratt - We're half tempted to include tea and coffee in a shipment to you... How can you hate Earl Grey? What about a vanilla laced Earl Grey? It's also one of those teas that need a little milk.
-
Hahaha... I feel like we need to introduce you to better coffee.. and to better Earl Grey. So, for me: water coffee tea (close second.. just easier for us to get great coffee than it is to get great tea)... and we do loose leaf tea with our own strainers... get that paper taste out of my tea!

4/25/2021 Workout MMA Thoughts: We worked on tweaking strikes/punches a bunch today... and some blocking. For the strikes, Jonesly wanted me to work on adjusting the power and angle of hooks and uppercuts. The lightest hook, haha, he paused because he didn't know how to phrase it. Instead, he demonstrated. He said that it's not meant to be a real hit, but a bit more than a fake out to set up for the subsequent hit. He showed me, and I said, "So, you basically want me to bitch slap my opponent?" He laughed so hard and said, "Yes. YES! I didn't want to say it because I didn't want to offend you." I said, "I don't think there's a better term for what you just showed me. It's a bitch slap. At least that's what we have always called it in street fighting." Hahahah. For blocking, he had me do one that I have never done before.. Because it makes no sense on the street. It only makes sense if you have on boxing gloves. But, still good to know overall. When he switched to what he called a "hair graze" block, that I do instinctively. He just corrected my form slightly. Good session today. No kicking. Going to save that for next week, I guess lol. give my shins a bit more time to heal.

4/24/2021 Workout Squat Clean Workshop Hang Squat Clean Drills @ 105lbs Thoughts: So, I thoroughly do not recommend doing a bunch of deadlifts and power hang cleans a day or two prior to spending 90 minutes on squat clean drills. However, silver lining, it really makes you use your legs more on the clean than attempting to muscle clean all the time. Not much to say about this one.. except I needed these drills. My issue with cleans is always that transition to rack for multiple reasons. These drills allow me to work on things I need to correct. I was still a bit gassed from what I am guessing is incorrect/not minding my macros the day before. I might need to seriously considering giving up a timed "weight loss" and focus more on performance nutrition if I'm going to survive the nonsense I'm doing.

Regarding D2, I would like to get some of shy lurkers out and into the fun. DSC is great because it's not crazy difficult, and even if there is someone who just plays solo all the time and isn't sure how they would fair in the raid, DSC is a great way for them to get their feet wet and hang out with others in our group. I would like to keep DSC going as a great intro into raids. Maybe if some others would like to take a stab at leading a team, that would be good too (not me. I just organize things, and you're lucky if I pay attention long enough to do things well). It's also been noticeable that I haven't spent much, if any, time in the D2 world this season. Just going through ebbs and flows. Have a few things I'm pre-occupied with. Maybe on the smaller team things, we may want to consider designating a weekly time and day for it. Like Nightfalls and GM Nightfalls. Sometimes, @TurboR56Mini and I would hop on and hope to do some harder Nightfalls, and no one would be around. We have a nice cadence for Raids, maybe we should add 1 night per week to run Nightfalls? Just thinking out loud. Not a huge fan of scheduling every event out, but having a dependable time to do something may help others just jump into playing group activities. because things like Gambit are really wretched when you try doing it on your own... and it's vastly different when you can communicate with your whole team. Same for Crucible... and especially Trials.

I think Civ was the first game I introduced @TurboR56Mini for PC games. We wasted many months playing Civ 5 haha. I still think Civ 4 is the best one. Humankind is going to be a fantastic game when it is fully released (I think). It's a bit more realistic on the merging of cultures throughout the ages. That's what intrigues me.
