Okay so I have underground building sorted out LOL
 
I might jump over into yalls world today and start building either at Peaceful Acres or near the starting altar. and just slowly flatten and build up.
 
I was going to focus on food production in the short term.

I can confirm that there is no griefing on our server. I saw a few folks in one common area, from other private servers. Game feels great, they also just launched roadmap as outlined below.

New massive patch that just came out addressed the grieving too!

Yes, I bought the version with the next 4 DLC, so I'm not worried. @RenFengge and I have played about 3 hours and so far it's been great. Have not even done the first quest yet. 

the Deep Desert is getting overhauled tomorrow for the griefing and expanding the PVE zone there and materials, no griefing on our server since we own it and there is no one else :). The griefing is cut down to a min and most are spending 350 hours before they even get to those parts!

OK, I'm finally back upstairs and I've bought this game. I've been excited for it since I broke my foot, so now's the time. I'm also going to rent an FG server because I want to have that open desert feeling, and we can keep it for FG only. I'm probably going to start with 6-10 seats and can increase if there is a demand for it. This also allows us to eliminate the griefing in the PVE zones. We also get to select a server world "type" like hardcore PvP, RP/PVE, and "free to everyone" types. I'm going to pick the RP/PVE one, which pairs our clusters with like-minded servers, so the common areas are all like-minded ppl in theory. This should also cut down on the bullshit in the deep desert etc.

I've listened to this many times at this point watching different folks react to it. It's an impressive piece of art. I've gone into the Ren rabbit hole.
 
 
 

i've been playing this for years and I always wanted to get out. I think the concept of career is pretty cool too, like yes, maybe I want to simply be a bush pilot in Alaska flying the most dope Super Cub and landing on a river bed. Looks like this is out on game pass day one too. I keep forgetting I have that so I'll put that monthly fee to good use lol.

We have got our money worth so far, it's been engaging and more stable than many other alphas. They're also very upfront about it and where they are unlike others. If someone buys it now expecting a finished game then it's on them for unrealistic expectations.

I've saw some of your screenshots of your builds and they look fantastic. Especially love that its online server all the time that you hop into rather than having to have the upkeep of your own server.

i've been playing this for years and I always wanted to get out.
