jordie1892 reacted to The3rdWalker in Pokemon TCG Pocket
Going second is better. TCG Pocket tried to change the opening mechanic to "Whoever goes first cannot play a supporter card" to "Whoever goes first cannot play an energy." Could be tweaked in the future since this is a PTCGP specific mechanic. Top deck right now is Pikachu ex, with MewTwo ex right behind it and if you like gambling, Artiuno/Starmie ex. New set releases in January, with a new promo set in December. Ranked mode will be released in the future. My Friend ID is 8062-8245-8978-6511 .

Staying up late at 9 years old to watch The Miracle of Istanbul…
Outside of football, I remember watching GB beating the Americans in the 2004 4x100m final felt very special when it happened.

Now that the draft is in the books we can start looking forward to the next NFL season and another year of FG NFL Fantasy Football !!! Can anyone topple 2 time champion @jordie1892, or will he make it back to back to back titles? There have been some big quarterback moves in the last couple of months that could make for an interesting season.
If you would like to take part in the next season just reply to this thread. For previous entrants please confirm if you would like to take part again this year, the more we get doing this the better it will be 🙂

jordie1892 reacted to JM in EA SPORTS FC 24 - Ultimate Team Review
My favourite player, Micky van de Ven got a Pundit Picks SBC this week — which was an absolute no-brainer for me to complete.
I’m not massively into UT, but I have enjoyed playing it this season. Never go too hard into getting any Hero’s or Icons either. I just enjoy building a good squad with players I like.

jordie1892 reacted to tronic44 in What are your top 3 movies of all time?
Pulp Fiction! How could i forget that film?
It definitely makes it into my top 10 but not sure if it quite makes top 3.
Grand Budapest Hotel was a brilliant film, i love that style of film. It reminds me of Only Murderers in the Building.
A top 3 of each genre would be good, action, romance, animation, Xmas films. Then i can put Die Hard as number one Xmas film and have an extra spot in action films haha

jordie1892 reacted to GazzaGarratt in What are your top 3 movies of all time?
@jordie1892, Interstellar! Yes, love that film. This is probably why we're all finding it hard to say a 'top 3'. I think I just have films I class as awesome and want to watch over and over!

jordie1892 got a reaction from Middle Class Caveman in What are your top 3 movies of all time?
I think my list always changes depending on my mood, but first that come to mind would be:
1: Pulp Fiction
2: Interstellar
3: Grand Budapest Hotel
I could probs make a top 100 and still be sad to miss films out

1. Gladiator
2. Pulp Fiction
3. The Silence of the Lambs
Honourable mention, Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers (Favourite Animated Film).
I also REALLY enjoyed watching Whiplash, As Good as It Gets, and What's Eating Gilbert Grape, again recently, but didn't think they quite had what it takes to make my list.

I really enjoyed Watchmen. Always thought the opening credits to Bob Dylans 'The Times Are A-Changing' went extremely hard...

I’ll only be able to jump on occasionally for the next few months, but will be back to normal from March/April sort of time.
I always wore no 8, as did my father before me 😂
Prefer playing in the middle - CDM/CAM/ST… CB if we’re desperate.
