Do you own Beyond Light deluxe and I'm guessing this symbol doesn't appear on your map? It might be some form of in-game advertisement trying to entice people to upgrade to deluxe. Bit of a shitty move if that's the case.

@Diddums I just logged in to check mine as I too have Beyond Light but not deluxe. I'm unsure the purpose of the big symbol on the main map but I too get the same message when I click it. However if you go to the planet you will see the quest giver, go pick it up from him 👍.

I don't get this, are you attempting to play the main campaign for Beyond Light? That shouldn't be part of any seasons should it, so deluxe shouldn't be required? As it is the whole quest lines are confusing me as it's nothing but symbols all over the place.

If I was getting a bar of chocolate to share, it would be milk. For myself it would be white, I can't stand dark chocolate. I think it started when I was younger and loved white magnums, ever since then it's always been white chocolate. Not that I eat chocolate very often anymore, unless it's on top of a biscuit.

Brilliant game, I might replay it on PC now as I never played the DLC, and near the end of the game I felt like it was dragging on a bit. Back when I was younger, this game was pretty creepy and at times got me jumping.

Not sure when I'll afford it just yet but will be PC, this will also depend on the specs required to run the game smoothly.

I'm not in the loop but did notice Ronaldo's return to United. What's with the price tag though? I thought he was worth much more than that?

@GazzaGarratt I noticed another comment on Reddit mentioning his name, so I went off to find it. It's pretty long at 4 hours but seems extensive in information. I'll link the video below for any other potential new starters looking at getting up to date. The quest line is confusing as hell. I don't know whether I've completed the quest line for Forsaken or not, I feel like I have but it doesn't give any indication for if it's actually complete... I still see 3 of them symbols on the Dreaming City though, but I can't see any quests there start.

Thanks everyone, I had a dabble this evening. First thoughts is damn it still looks incredible and plays surprisingly well on my aging GPU. While I didn't get the storyline just yet, I recognised certain aspects of characters / enemies which was nice to see again. I'll attempt to play this in moderation so it doesn't get boring, also because kids are a time sinker 😅. I have no clue on good gear though and how to obtain them, someplace other than raids would be preferable. Good place for resources? Game feels very accessible now. In D1, I only ever completed the first raid they released and I also remember Exotics was hard to come by! You'd have to meet that guy in the tunnel to get them and he only appeared at certain times. Now they are being given away. Purchased the Legendary Edition and joined the clan. Also bought that book, just waiting for Waterstones to deliver to store so I can go collect.

While I used to love the original game and played it a lot, I didn't take much interest in D2, so my main question is in the title. I'm downloading at the moment on Steam but I don't own / never owned any of the expansion packs for D2 and the last time I tried the game was in 2019. How difficult is this to get back in to and what can a sort of new player expect? From what I can see, there is like 15+ seasons! Whatever that means? Where would one even start? Are the last few expansion packs required or can one just simply buy the latest due to be released, The Witch Queen? Is this game cross-play, so I could play with PS4/5 users? joining the same clan? Somewhat related, anyone tried the books? I'm tempted to buy "Destiny: Grimoire Anthology Vol I" and start reading on the lore, anyone bought them and what do you think of them?

While I have always disliked the fast paced, small maps, run n gun multiplayer of the CoD series, especially compared to Battlefield games. They really do produce some quality single player campaigns, and this game looks like it does not disappoint!

I still play pretty much all the genres I used to, just now some more than others. I used to always play FPS and sports games, most of the time online. Now I'm more drawn to genres like simulation and strategy. The biggest change I've had is I simply just don't play multiplayer, I might have the odd times when I'll venture online but 90% of my time is now playing single player games.

I've joined. I'm not sure what use I'll be but I'll be there to do something 😅.

I don't really have one. Not something that I will keep installed all the time or something I lean towards when I can't think of anything else to do. At times I may reinstall Civ 6, The Hunter Call of the Wild or Euro Truck Simulator until I eventually grow tired of them again and uninstall the games. It's sad, I have 1,287 games on Steam and my highest play count is sitting at 361 hours. Only 6 of my games have a play count higher than 100 hours. I have a serious issue with sticking to any game.

Some imperfections but overall happy with how it turned out. There should have been another cloud above the tree but didn't feel like I needed to add it, then the "Ha" was started a little too far left, so I ended p with a slight gap in the word. For comparisons, this is how the kit looked

So I like to watch movies while I spend my time cross stitching and lately I've watched a few I'd never seen before. 1917 Loved this film, some scenes seemed a little dramatised but overall it was an excellent movie to watch. Hacksaw Ridge A different war and another good film, this guy made some heroic efforts during his time in the war and it really is captured in this movie. Godzilla vs Kong Enoyed this one too, I already knew what was to be expected (what always happens when you have a vs. movie). The CGI was very well done and as a Godzilla fan I think they did pretty well. King Arthur: Legend of the Sword Katie McGrath. Okay so being a fan of the TV series Merlin, this movie had always sounded interesting but I must say while it was a decent movie, I wasn't that big on the way it was presented. If it hadn't been for Katie McGrath, I'd probably have skipped this movie entirely 😅. The Unholy A scary ass bitch with some jump scares. Probably wouldn't watch on my own in the dark though, I don't do well with jump scares but I love the genre. TV Series Dark Angel - used to love the game on PS2 as a kid but never actually watched the series, so why not start now? Secret Bridesmaids Business - this was only on my radar due to Katie McGrath and it's only 6 episodes. I was pleasantly surprised by this though and really got in to to, although bit of a disappointing ending.

Concept of these game I have an interest in.. the communication part not so much 😅. I don't know how this will perform on my aging GTX 980 at 1080p, so I think I'll wait until a free weekend is announced, so I can properly test the game before buying. It looks interesting though.

Sure so long as it doesn't impact on the rest of the production. Otherwise games might start being produced to a lesser standard to be compatible with the Steam Deck.

This does look interesting, even though it only outputs at 720p. With this being the case though, what about text on screen? wouldn't that be a little small? I imagine if you play certain games, action adventures or FPS, this should be great. I already see mention of Civ on this, but do you think it would work? I have Civ on the VITA and that's a watered down game compared to the full game, I can imagine the resolution and screen size alone wouldn't be ideal for them types of games unless they are designed with handheld in mind. Then there's grand strategy games like HOI or RTS games like Company of Heroes, them I can see as not being ideal for something like this. So it'll highly depend on the games you play. The concept is awesome though, price tag not so much. Although if you can load other apps on the device, having GOG Galaxy installed for some of the older titles would be super cool to have on the go.
