I know a lot of folks are done with this game, but my boy and I still play it a lot, and this was news today so here: https://www.pcgamer.com/mod-adds-cybernetic-implants-to-fallout-4/ Cybernetic implants come to Fallout 4 in this new mod Fancy playing Fallout 4 with puncture-resistant lungs, armour built into your skin and hard-wired reflexes? Then you might be into a new mod that adds cybernetic implants to the RPG. It looks impressively fleshed out, and could meaningfully change the way you play. RD-Technologies Cybernetic Implants doesn't just give you special powers right off the bat: it's designed to be something of a treasure hunt in which you first buy modules from traders, track down blueprints for the implants and then find the ingredients you need to craft them. There are three modules that you can plug implants into—body, limb and brain. The mod's creator Raven Damara says they want to encourage exploration, so you can't see a full list of implants, nor the locations of the blueprints. But some of the screenshots on its Nexus page show options for the body module, which include a "tissue regeneration matrix", "wired reflexes", "dermal plating" and "puncture-resistant lungs". The mod includes more than 50 implants, which should give plenty of customisation options, and you can also kit out your followers, too. Raven Damara plans to give implants to NPCs in future updates, which should boost enemy variety. They recommend playing in Survival Mode to avoid becoming too bullet sponge-y. --------------------------- This all reminds me of Shadowrun, so I hope it comes to the PS4 at some point. Sadly it most likely wont, so i will end up getting an Xbox one for it.

http://www.ign.com/articles/2018/06/24/nintendo-talks-about-the-six-big-switch-games-missing-from-e3-2018 Nintendo's E3 2018 showing was brimming with amazing games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and Pokemon Let's Go. However, there were a handful of notable franchises that were nowhere to be found during the show. Everything from Metroid Prime 4 to Yoshi, and even Animal Crossing to Mother 3 — many of us have been left wondering where some of Nintendo's most iconic titles have been. With that being said, we did a little digging ourselves and reached out to Nintendo to find out the fate of some of our favorite franchises. Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon 2019 Speaking with IGN, Nintendo’s Senior Product Marketing Manager, Bill Trinen, revealed that Nintendo wanted to focus on a shorter window this year rather than showing off some of last year’s big surprises like Metroid Prime 4 and the upcoming core Pokemon RPG. “There was other stuff that we probably could have included in E3, but is probably a bit further out, and so we decided to really kind of keep the focus a little bit more on between now and early 2019, which I think you saw some hints of there with a couple of games,” Trinen told IGN. “We want to show stuff when we think it's ready to show. Obviously, it's not like we've stopped working on any of the things we talked about last year, that stuff's all being worked on,” Trinen added. “We'll just show stuff when we're ready to show it and really, right now, the focus is on two big games in the form of Smash and Pokemon [Let’s Go Eevee and Let’s Go Pikachu].” Mother 3 “When we have something to announce, we will,” Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime told IGN at E3. “Fill in the blank of your favorite franchise. Our mentality will be we'll announce information close to its launch date versus teasing people for years on end.” Fils-Aime responded similarly to a potential Western release for Mother 3, a game we’ve been asking him about for the last several years. “Again, we know, I know there's a fan base for that title. All I could say is we're aware,” he explained. “It's something that we always think about in terms of where there are opportunities to reintroduce IP to fans, to do it in a way that builds new fans, we're certainly aware. No promises, no commitments one way or the other, but we're aware.” Animal Crossing Fils-Aime said that the success of Animal Crossing Pocket Camp bodes well for the success of the eventual next installment in that franchise. Nintendo Switch / 24 Jun 2018 Nintendo Talks About the Six Big Switch Games Missing From E3 2018 Share. Metroid Prime 4, Pokemon, Mother 3, Animal Crossing, Yoshi, and Star Fox. "We see tremendous opportunity in using the mobile platform to introduce IP to consumers who may not be as familiar. Animal Crossing is a great example. Tremendous interaction with Pocket Camp," he said. "Fans are really enjoying that experience. We're introducing it to new consumers. That bodes well for whenever the next Animal Crossing might come." Yoshi Nintendo confirmed that Yoshi for Switch is still in development, though has been delayed to next year. Nintendo's website now lists Yoshi as a 2019 release. "It's actually been making really good progress. They decided they wanted to make some improvements, so they're going to take just a little bit more time on it and that's why we're not showing it this year at the show," Trinen told IGN, "But I think you can look forward to some updates on it later in 2018." Initially announced at E3 2017, Nintendo showed off an extensive demo featuring a brand new cardboard aesthetic. At the time, Yoshi was planned for a 2018 release, though now we know that we'll most likely see it sometime next year. Preorders for Yoshi are still open on Amazon. Star Fox Despite no announcement of an official reprisal for the franchise — be it the rumored Star Fox Grand Prix or something entirely new — Ubisoft revealed during their E3 conference that Star Fox will be a playable character in the Switch version of their new open-world space adventure game, Starlink: Battle for Atlas. The Switch version will come included with an exclusive version of an Arwing fighter and will feature story missions exclusive to Star Fox, which Ubisoft claims will fit nicely within the lore of Starlink.

Probably the most hated mechanic in the game. Bungie finally addressing this shit in forsaken. Why was it in the game to begin with? https://gamerant.com/destiny-2-juggler-forsaken/ Destiny 2’s upcoming Forsaken expansion will bring several major changes to the popular shooter, and it seems that one hated mechanic may be changed alongside the launch of the expansion. Destiny 2’s hidden ammo juggler mechanic is almost universally disliked by most of the community, but the mechanic will be changing when Forsaken launches this September. In an interview with FPS News, Forsaken Project Lead Scott Taylor confirmed that there would be some change to the ammo juggler mechanic with Forsaken. The hidden mechanic has been frustrating fans since the launch of Destiny 2, and one fan even did the math to prove that the mechanic was in the game. While there are no details on what the change will be, or if it will be outright removed, Taylor did say that Bungie will be talking more about that change over the summer. The change is likely due to a combination of factors, namely fan frustration and the upcoming new weapon system. The new weapon system allows players to equip weapon types in almost every slot, so it would not mesh well with the hidden juggler mechanic. Currently, if players have a kinetic weapon equipped, kinetic ammo would drop less frequently than energy and power ammo would. This applies to the other two ammo types as well but since the system is changing with the weapon slots, Bungie has to do something about the juggler mechanic. The interview also discussed the tone shift that is coming with the new expansion, as well as the shocking death from the E3 story trailer. Taylor emphasized the desire for the team to create a western-themed expansion, and how revenge should be the primary motivator for players. Taylor also discussed the new PvPvE game mode, Gambit, which pits players against one other in a race to kill the final boss. It’s good to hear that this aggravating mechanic is being reworked, or removed, with Forsaken. Fans have been frustrated with this mechanic since the game launched, so surely many will be happy to see it gone.

Mw3 was killed for me by the campaign ending and the hacked lobbies that started about week 2 over here. I jumped over to BF3 at the time, with their dedicated servers and just had so much more fun.

Cayde's.......Dead. Destiny 2 Story Reveal Trailer
Sennex replied to GazzaGarratt's topic in Destiny 2
For me, I don't want to ever see any quest giver outside of the tower/farm/ planet hub. I don't need zavala for shit. I fought crota, where the fuck was he? I fought Atheon, where the fuck was he then? Skola's? Yep, done it without Zavala's help I fought Oryx... yea, keep your lame ass in the tower Zavala SIVA..... Not only did I kill it, I even killed the legendary guardians that it had taken over. Yea, Zavala can lick my ass. He isn't a badass, he shouldn't be considered one. He is just a dude that yells at people every now and again, and helps Holiday deal with her Daddy issues. EDIT: On second thought, Zavala, shake a leg and get me another tank or 3. I am tired of fighting gods for you fucks without some useful artillery -
Wait.... what? thats either hysterical or bad, I can't decide which.

Cayde's.......Dead. Destiny 2 Story Reveal Trailer
Sennex replied to GazzaGarratt's topic in Destiny 2
The only attachment you need: your avatar (character) faction as a whole, not the NPC's quest givers The villian(s) You have to feel like your decisions matter, you have to feel like you are accomplishing things. You have to feel like you are defeating the bad guy World of Warcraft drove this point home pretty well as the largest video game . Every expansion there was at least 1 new continent, with at least 5 new zones, with at least 2 new towns in each zone. With at least 3-6 new quest givers in each town. None of us gave a flying fuck about why the walrus jackasses in northrend were fighting with the giants. We only cared that if we did their dailies, and regular quests we built up faction to where we could get that sweet purple gear. Why are pirates near the alliance capital city? IDGAF, Let me farm them so I can get more faction! etc. -
This is a bad move on Nintendo's part. Sadly I don't see any other move they can make considering the format of hardware they release games on. I guess they could go to a purely digital platform, but the limitation there is that the switch has such a minimal amount of storage on it. This is another example of Nintendo creating its own problems by trying to be unique. http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2018/06/nintendo_is_banning_switch_game_cards_to_combat_piracy_potentially_killing_the_second-hand_market

I need to find some sort of guide to this damn game. My kid keeps asking me questions and I don't remember shit from when i played other than no matter how good of a goalie you are, if your team sucks, you will lose. Also, how the fuck does a midfielder break 2 ribs and puncture a lung? (Dave's answer of Denmark players not eating enough cheese, while oddly accurate, leaves me wanting to know more.)

Sony Under Fortnite Cross-Platform Pressure
Sennex replied to Plumbers Crack's topic in Battle Royale
i think they would. The reason why is because they already want people to link their PC and XBone accounts, so its not really hard to pass to Nintendo through another API service. Its actually more work on Epic Games to account for that linking than it is on MS or Nintendo's part. -
hehehehehe man, I really need to dig out my copy of MW2, please let this franchise die already, and MW1, just for the campaigns

Cayde's.......Dead. Destiny 2 Story Reveal Trailer
Sennex replied to GazzaGarratt's topic in Destiny 2
I can't argue with him being fun in certain missions. Mainly anything in D1 In D2, the first time I heard his dialogue i enjoyed it, the second time, not so much, now he is on par with Failsafe, Ashen Mir, Hawthorne, and Tess. Personally I really wanted all three vanguard to die, and then for new ones to take its place. Or at least for them to all head to the various shards of the traveler and get their abilities back, so as to explain why they didn't' die. -
I disagree

At first I thought this was maybe an ad campaign..... Nope movie just happens to be that bad.

Few things are more amazing at 834AM than hearing a spanish announcer yelling "Goal" and then "BONZAI!" at the top of his lungs when Japan scores. I also have no idea what the hell he is shouting because I don't know Spanish, but damn does it bring a smile to my face, hearing this dude lose his shit and revert back to his native tongue.
