  1. I have been following this for months now, its been obvious that it was going to happen. If you all have questions let me know. I have many concerns for this to be 100% honest, and I didn't expect this announcement to happen before Christmas. It is also making me rethink our server choices.
  2. Details on Cross play and the future of Minecraft: Better Together Update Today at E3 Mojang have announced the upcoming Better Together Update, this update unifies Minecraft in one version available on most platforms (excluding Java Minecraft which will continue to be supported as an independent version), known simply as "Minecraft" the new update will include some game-changing new features! Cross-platform play, play together with friends in Minecraft no matter what platform they're using. In-game servers, available on all platforms Minecraft will have in-game servers you can join right from the menu. The servers available at launch include some of the most recognisable Minecraft servers: Lifeboat, Mineplex, InPVP, and Cubecraft. Marketplace is available for Minecraft. 4K HDR graphics which include "improved lighting, shadows, water effects... basically, it'll be like giving your eyes a luxury massage. This’ll be available to folks playing on Xbox One, Windows 10, iOS, mobile, and VR - essentially every platform that gets our Better Together update." Pocket edition players will receive a free update as Pocket Edition will become Minecraft, and owners of Minecraft: Xbox One Edition and Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition will receive the brand new Minecraft game for free. This E3 we shared our plans to introduce the Better Together Update to unify console, mobile and Windows 10 versions of the game under a single edition. And that’s not all! This swish new version brings in-game multiplayer servers, an update to give your worlds a lick of graphical paint, and cross-platform support - letting console, Win 10 and mobile Minecrafters play together for the first time! And PC Java edition players, don't worry, Mojang will continue to support the original version of the game: So going forward, the edition you'll find on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, mobile and VR will simply be known as 'Minecraft', a separate entity from 'Minecraft: Java Edition', which is the original PC game (that we'll continue to support, of course).
  3. I should try out New Order again I guess. I didn't enjoy it because it was incredibly easy in spots, then it would get insanely hard, and then easy, and then hard. It was really annoying. There was no sense of urgency, to the game. Doom on the other hand was amazing
  4. Not sure if any of you all played Infamous or Prototype on the PS3, but if this has the same style of roaming open world it will be amazing. It looks like it does, but I am curious about the controls more than what it looks like
  5. Does it still have the "quick time events"/ "Simon Says" that were in the rest of the series?
  6. Yes, Macho man dragons in Skyrim are hysterical. Just go to youtube and search for skyrim mods.
  7. What? I didn't see any creation kits/labs/ what have you from Ubisoft, can you link it?

    Dynmap

Dynmap is more for advertising, and people that have multiple monitors. For advertising, we can link to the map, and people can see what it all looks like. and how good/ interesting the builds are. For everyone else, you can plan a build very easily having it open on another monitor, or even just explore easier. I shut off the hi-res images, as well as the 3d view because of HD space.

    Dynmap

    Yes Via the FG App
  10. Not sure which section it goes under, but it looks pretty solid as a game. I am not 100% on the whole collectible ship angle, but since there are digital versions as well, it could be good.
  11. I need an enclosure, and then I can
  12. Oh man, i missed it Via the FG App
  13. /TPA <gamertag>
  14. If that person is on, then you can just TPA to them
  15. We couldn't on the same server It would have to be a different server. The cost of running it would be lower, and honestly I would use the same host as they are pretty good. Personally IDC, but I don't know how much others would want this. Someone should start a poll or something
  16. I agree Tommy but I wanted to give the option so that folks that have it on other systems could also play with us.
  17. Bethesda in 35 years (Swiped from Reddit)
  18. Random thought: If we want to be more inclusive in this manner, we could. Our server would be reset, and updated to current versions. It would also be unmodded, but the option is there moving forward. There are a lot of really awesome options in the newer versions.
  19. This is only on the new version that will be coming out soon. This is not with old versions, or Modded versions In a purely vanilla world, this can be awesome, the minute you mod though, consoles are out I can see them fixing this in the future, but most likely not this year
  20. Thinking about this some more. I am going to back out entirely. I will advise and put together some tutorials, but I don't want to muddy the waters at all here. I already have spawn, and the NS/ EW road to do. If you all want it underground, then cool, if you want it above ground, then also cool. I would advise caution here as with the modpack being set around a fantasy vibe, above ground rails might break that feel.
  21. I can remove the labels on the Dynmap , or shuffle them around to new locations. Actually, have people tested it out?
  22. Not only are they milking Skyrim again for like the 6th E3 in a row, they're also pushing a soft pay for mod system. Nothing really exciting announced, and anything that was exciting got all its airs pumped out by the fact that they're once again pushing "pay for mods". I can see why they pushed the conference so late into the PST. Anyone watching that shit probably was more disappointed than excited. Also this part of the creationclub annoyed me https://creationclub.bethesda.net/en If I’m accepted to be a Creator, what can I create and what is the dev process? Creators are required to submit documentation pitches which go through an approval process. All content must be new and original. Once a concept is approved, a development schedule with Alpha, Beta and Release milestones is created. Creations go through our full development pipeline, which Creators participate in. Bethesda Game Studios developers work with Creators to iterate and polish their work along with full QA cycles. The content is fully localized, as well. This ensures compatibility with the original game, official add-ons and achievements. How about fuck you bethesda. If it wasn't for the modded community your last several games wouldn't even be playable. So what if some of those mods are Macho Man dragons, or swords made out of dicks
  23. We don't need that many chests. A few diamond or crystal chests can house everything we need. Maybe 3 or 4 total at most You guys can get together and build anything you want, in any location, that isn't claimed. Go nuts. I will help with advice and what not where I can, but after I was done with the main spawn, I was going to focus on my island, and leave you guys alone.
  24. 2160p is technically 4k resolution. That shit gets confusing
  25. I can toss a few together with explanations about why I did what I did in the build tonight.
