Anothet thing that grinds my ass. In the 70's when I was a kid we had the scary ass movie..."carrie" ...then about 10 yrs ago they redid it and called it "Carrie 2 the rage"...okay, I watched it, it was okay. Now today I see a trailer for "Carrie".....really? they are doing it again in only 10 yrs. Oh I'm sorry, that one was "carrie 2"...what the F ever. What can't holly wood come up with NEW ideas? why do they have to redo shit every 10 years?

Two of my best friends are cops like you doc so I know this goes without saying, DD's calls are always the worst to catch. I hate to hear this officer lost his life due to that one Happens too often.

Nope not naked (even though Tommy wants that ) Just getting tired of the hair, my hair grows fast just like my beard. Never have shaved my head (Bruce wills / a' la American Hostory X style) but been kind'a thinking about it maybe lately just to try something different.

Just returned home last night from a trip with my good friend Mark to Gates Lodge on the Au Sable for some fishing for wild brook trout. We stayed at Gates on the upper river rather than at my cabin on the mid section of river. Had a wonderful couple days with a good friend catching some beautiful wild brookies on dry flies during the bwo hatch. Also moved a couple really nice browns including one that was in the upper teens/20" range that chased my streamer but would not commit to taking it. Our room at Gates had a view of the river running right by it not even 50ft away, full service Orvis shop 50ft in the other direction of the cabin door, as well river side dinning. Gates is a great place to stay, too bad Rusty passed away so young in 2009 because he was always enjoyable talking too when in the shop. Weather was cool with night temps hitting the upper 30's but daytime fishing was very nice not only because of the fish and beautiful river but also because the fall colors are starting to pop on the river now. Here's about a 2-3 min slideshow I put together from the trip, hope you enjoy.

Yep thinking too much about stuff like that will make you go crazy. That's the sort of shit we all think about late at night when lying in bed unable to sleep and your mind races to that and thoughts of how one day "I" will actually die... me...ME ..Dead, can you imgaine that? (tell me you haven't thought that exact thing as well ) To be honest though I don't like to think about those sort of things like what happens after life et etc. I guess it all depends on your beliefs such as God and what created us. I believe in God and believe something happens to the soul after death (just my personal belief) but even if I did or didn't thats still some stuff that can make you go nuts thinking about while you are alive.

Picked up two new fish today. A pair of Featherfin catfish. They are both big but the one is really huge, they are 4" and just over 6". It really pays to get involved in local fish/aquarium clubs because I've priced these size of this species before at the local fish shops and for a 4" they want $39.99 and 6" they want $49.99.....I got both these together from a fellow club member for $10 for both

Don't think I posted this here yet, getting old can't remember shit anymore though Last weekend myself and a buddy whom I do a lot of work for on his 442 Cutlass(he's kind'a my car buddy) we went up to Frankenmuth for the Autofest. Here's a short video I put together of some of it.. BTW the black 64' Chevy...had a 632cid sheet metal intake 1200hp bad ass mofo' in it, yet was still street legal.

I had not thought about this lately till I spoke to a friend in Co tonight whom had his left lung removed because of cancer (from smoking) and yet get this, he STILL smokes even during chemo and radiation treatments (yeah I gave him hell for that ) anyway that conversation made me think of something I have not even thought of recently about myself.... 3 more weeks and it will be two and a half years since I quit smoking! I still remember posting on the old MW2 forum about the week I quit Hard to believe it's been over two years! Outside of quitting drinking (recovering alcoholic) quitting smoking was the best decision I ever made.
