  3. I'm close brother, very close. Seriously it is now 30+ hrs straight, but what really is bad is I know what I am doing is right, yet I still have issues with this damn PC. I'm ready to drop kick it out the window. Daves tryin to help me but damn damn damn....this shit sucks, I HATE tech shit
  4. Not shinny...just a glimmer...still have CP issues, but Daves tryin to help me with that
  5. Just had the worst night ever ...computer wise. I wont go into long details, but computer crashed, my emails took forever to get back up, my business sites blocked my IP because of failed logins....I have not slept in over 34 hrs and been working on this damn puter for the past 15 hrs. Finally got back online and somewhat "okay" .....some people here pissed me off lately and I planned on never coming back, but I had to share this shit with people that might understand the past 36hrs lol...just fuck. What a day and half. Techonolgy sucks at times
  6. Guess we'll agree to disagree and I'll leave it at that because I think you have a pretty piss poor attitude IMO.Not everyone deals with things on the same time table, that's what makes each of us different. To say you don't see how anyone could be obese is one thing, I can understand you saying that, but to say it "disgusts you"...that's pretty fuckin lame of you IMO. As I said my sister has fought being pretty overweight her entire life and she can't do any exercise because she has two bad knees and can't afford to get them taken care of because she has kids to provide for, so I guess if you saw her she would disgust you. Whatever dude, stand by what you said and I'll stand by my opinion of your self righteous ass. I'm done with this thread.
  7. Yep same here, when I use to lift I always was alone. Been more than once I had to roll the bar down the chest/stomach to get out from under it when benching alone and trying to push out a few extra And that was when I was in my 20's....now at 42 if I did that again I'd probably be dead lol
  8. lol. I just picked up 14 more Yellow lab fry today so here's a group shot of some for ya
  9. Only thing I don't have right now and miss is my bench press. After I get the area cleaned though I may buy or build another one.
  10. 3 cats and around 80 fish here. I'll post some pics when I get time of my cats, you guys already have seen most the fish.
  11. Been working on clearing out a 8ft x 8ft area behind the wall I built in the downstairs office to use as a workout area. I use to have a ton of stuff, probably around 800-1000lbs in free weights and all sorts of curl, tricep bars, dumbells etc etc but over the years after my dad passed I lost some of it during moves and sold some when I was not using it. So now I probably have a round 250-300lbs of free weights and a few sets of dumbells and bars left. Hope to have the area cleaned up and usable before winter but rod building work, aquariums and other projects are making it a slow go.
  12. Yes it is for sure partly a result of the age we live in, but you will also find out when you get older that the more middle age you get the harder it becomes to take weight off as well as to change your lifestyle. Then if you factor in things such as I went through with life problems, or for some people raising a family and not having the time to exercise properly, then being overweight isn't really a "choice" any more than being an alcoholic or drug addict is a choice. Those are all things that Start off as a choice, but over time due to circumstances they shift from choice to something you absolutely hate but it's become so much a part of you that 90% of people can't change it on their own. By no means am I defending that lazy ass woman in the video. I am simply saying to make a broad sweeping statement like Dangle did is can be very wrong for many reasons and as someone that WAS very overweight at one time myself I feel it is wrong to say anyone disgusts you simply because they are overweight.
  13. That's just plain lazy. She could be 100lbs and I bet she'd still do that because lazy is lazy. To say something like "I am totally disgusted with fat people" is a pretty shitty thing to say dangle. Funny how in this day and age people let anything and everything go and how your not supposed to judge someone no matter what yet Lord forbid they are fat because that somehow gives everyone the right to be holier than thou. Reason I say that is because as you guys know I lost 150lbs over the past 2 years, I was damn near 400lbs...and there's many reasons for that to happen. When I gained the weight is was over the course of 15 years because of some bad shit that happened in my life like losing my dad when he was only 52yrs old, losing my fiancee as well as my job and slipping into a depression and becoming an alcoholic. I was very lucky that I had the inner strength and will power to finally pull myself out of that nose dive but many people just can't overcome it. My sister is someone that needs to lose a lot of weight so it somewhat pisses me off to hear an arrogant statement like "I'm totally disgusted with fat people". Don't judge someone till you have walked a mile in their shoes. What I said above has nothing to do with the video though, that's just plain lazy and she should find another job.
  14. 7am here ...guess who has not sleep tonight?
  15. Come who else in your 40's remembers this one....
  16. Now I am feeling old. I was looking through some stuff tonight and came across this. This was a vid I made from a trip with a couple buds from 2007...wow, hard to believe that was 6 yrs ago. Was a cool vid, makes me feel all nostalgic lol
  17. Cal, I'm a still recovering Alcoholic, guess what my family/moms madin name is .....Murphy. I'm 50%/60% Irish myself were' a bit dispositioned to having issues aren't we? lol Not that has anything to do with the issue at all.
  18. I've tried Nyquil, Ambien, tylonol PM...pretty much all them bud.
  19. Dave seriously...my sleep pattern SUCKS man. I try to sleep at midnight, 1am, 2am....I usually don't sleep till at least 4am. Last week or so it;s been 5am. And it don't matter what time I lay down either. I just have the worst time shutting my damn head off is all. Perfect example, it's 3.30am now....I am not the least bit tired. Yet "IF" I lay down, I'll lay there thinking of all sorts of stupid shit. Just stuff where I can not shut my head off at all for whatever reason.
  20. Actually been doing that too bud. I've been going for a walk/run from 9pm - 10/30'ish every night.
  21. Seriously bud, not the reason lol. I can try to sleep at 11pm, 1am you name it, just does not work for me bud. Not saying late night porn is not an issue though I know bud, and I would never even think of that, but when you get so deseprate to just play SLEEP like I am every night, all sorts of shit rushes through your mind. Thats seriously been one man. I just am at the end of my rope with this insomnia man, it's seriously killing me. You ever try to run a business, or even function on 2 hrs sleep per night? sucks man. And seems like it gets worse all the time. I'm about to give up man. I'm to the point I dunno what to do anymore man.
  22. And yeah I bet the "jasin" is the owl because Jay and I both have had issues in addiction in the past and have talked about them together, and seriously I want very much to hear what he can say here maybe. But I do welcome all help/replies is all. So any help with any sleep disorders, hell post away.
  23. Dude that is really funny. Because I have had to have a "white noise" like a fan or AC to sleep since I was a teen or I just can't sleep lol
  24. Okay it's only 1am here so no Insomnia yet But it's just a couple hours away. I have been this way since my late 20's...Insomnia like a SOB. I have SOOOO much trouble just shutting my mind down. I actually have read/studied about this and there are actually people that for whatever reason experience over active brain wave length and they seriously have issues "shutting their mind down"... I really think after decades of issues, that's me You guys all know I never pull any punches, I and 100% honest, and I am up front about my past with being a recovering alcoholic. Part of the reason I was a drinker in my 30's was because it helped me to get to sleep. Without it I laid in bed 2/3/4/5 hrs a night unable to sleep. I've noticed now the past year or two my Insomnia is getting worse again. Last thing I ever want to do is go back to drinking, even though that option has crossed my mind lately due to lack of sleep Anyone else ever deal with Insomnia or have any things you do to help?
