Sand and everything in now. Ready to fill up and move the colony of Trophs into it in a few days!

I have a colony of Bemba Tropheus that will be going in there soon as it is ready.

I told myself I was NOT going to work on this today because I have a rod order to fill, but I couldn't resist getting some work in on it this morning/afternoon. All the front side is done now, got a side wall built to hide the side of the tank, and back is done except for a 6" facade to cover the bottom of the stand. Should have fish in it sometime next week for sure

Moving right along now. 3D background is done except for sealing it. The rocks were all white but I took some time to scrub them and paint them in the same colors at the background so it all color matches to give it that live painting look on the wall. Just have to seal it all, add sand (white) paint the tank sides black, finish framing it with some matching wood then, re arrange the pictures and such around it on the wall and then finish up the back side of the wall. Should have trophs in it by early next week most likely.

Spent the evening carving away like crazy on some foam yet again. I've done so much background work over the past two 2 weeks my fingers are getting blisters from using the foam shaver. All carved out now and just finished putting the drylok on it so will be doing color on it tomorrow now.

Anyone else been watching that new series on the Syfy ch called Aftermath? I have no idea why I started watching it because it looked pretty goofy at first but now I'm hooked on it for some reason.

I'm not much of a Ben Affleck fan, but I thought that movie looked like it might be pretty good from the previews. Might have to give that a watch soon.

Well I'm at it again, summer is gone so time for another tank project in the office/shop. Everyone knows the view of my office facing this direction... . . . But standing in the same spot and looking 180 degrees the other way is this view....A nice view but something is missing, a tank! . Originally I was going to move one of my 29g tanks over and build it into the wall with maybe a pair of rams or something. But I have decided to go with something that will complete my "wants" in fish keeping. When I got back into the hobby 4 yrs ago with a mixed African tank I had a few things I really wanted to keep, one was Frontosa which I now have a front tank, another was some sort of large "wet pet" which I now have with my Jaguar, and the last thing was I wanted to keep a tank of Tropheus. So I've decided to build a Tropheus tank into the wall between my office and shop area. It will be a 4ft 55g for the time being but I will be upgrading it probably in the spring to a 75-90g once the trophs get a bit larger. Going to be rasing the stand to a height of 42" so that the tank will sit right above the back of the chair in the picture and tank will have a 3D background in it for a nice finished in wall look. This is the backside of the wall, well WAS the backside of the wall at 1pm yesterday. And this is the backside as of now. Already got both sheets of drywall down and most of the studs removed (this is a non load bearing, I actually put it up myself just 5 years ago as a divider for the rooms). Hopefully will have it all done and trophs swimming in the wall inside of a week to 10 days max 8)

Just watched Travolta's latest flick "I Am Wrath". It was REALLY so predicable that it became almost cliche. Basically along the lines of - Wife gets murdered, husband turns out to be former Black Ops agent and seeks revenge, end of story. The one good part was Christopher Meloni, his part was good and somewhat funny at times but they didn't build on it like they could have. Pretty forgettable movie overall.

That Falcon is bad ass as well!

The bigger musky my buddy catches which are near the 50" range usually are around 30lb to 35lb range. I'll have to dig up a pic of one of the monsters he caught this year, he got some really massive ones that will blow your mind.

Depends on where you fish and what you are fishing for. Lake St Clair is home to a big population of Musky that get huge. I have a friend that is a musky fly fishing guide on LSC and he routinely catches musky between 42"-50". I believe his biggest last year was a 54" monster.

Closed the cabin up for the winter over the weekend. Weather was cold & windy but while the family went to town shopping i went to the river. Had a few pike follow the fly all the way in till this decent one finally committed and hammered the streamer at the last second.

Just picked up BF1 and installing right now, just played about 10 mins of the open phase where you are not expected to survive. Holy shit are the graphics cool so far. Won't be really getting into it till I get back Sunday but now after getting a little taste I am REALLY looking forward to getting into this game!

lol I spend time with them quite often Think I might run out and grab BF1 in the morning and install it that way I can spend all Sunday night playing when I get back.

For the first time in longer than I can remember I have been finally looking forward to a game release (Battlefield 1). Sat some cash a side so I could go grab the game soon as it came out. It would be the first time I have ever bought a game and played it on the release date. Comes out tomorrow as you all know. And now...... I'm headed up with the family to close the cabin up for the winter tomorrow evening and wont be back till Sunday. Ain't that just a bitch and a half!

I was just thinking about this today again lol. So lets see....we have Star Wars Episodes 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 already....so what will we they call this one "Episode 3.5"? ( I know Rouge One but when referring to the chronological order).

Will do. I don't remember the error code off hand but I do remember at the bottom of the screen it says something about some sort of memory dump or something like that. Cyber- nope haven't deleted anything at all so that shouldn't be anything with it. I run Maleware bytes and spybot every few weeks and haven't had any sort of issues big quarantined outside of just the normal Benign little things they always find when you run them. I'll tryin get some code info when it happens again.

I LOVED RDR on my PS3...can't wait for this...dunno if I can wait till fall of next year though!
