  1. Sure, seems the best way to go. The new patch is currently being tested by players before it goes live so kinks can be ironed out. It's a big update as they're removing Port Olisar and replacing it with a cloud city type thing, looks amazing. I also believe they're introducing their version of permadeath for the first time. There's a lot of stuff to do in game now but it needs to run well so will be interesting. Give it a week or so I reckon.
  2. I think, like every season of my life that from the start Spurs will win the league. And I believe that until they prove me otherwise. Hopefully that belief will survive the first game of the season 😁
  3. The highs ands lows of the latest iteration 🙂
  4. Moving back to proper football I've seen pundits suggest Spurs will be outside the top 10 this season. While that's cobblers it does make me wonder which teams will be contenders. I'd say Man Utd with Sancho look very strong and I believe there's more signings to come. Man City aren't going to sit on their laurels and Chelsea are looking at spending big too. Don't see anything from Arsenal but I imagine Liverpool will be looking to strengthen and return to the top. Haaland and his future will be interesting and a boost to any of the teams above. Not sure if Kane will be going anywhere.
  5. Sad that the biggest conversations after the tournament are regarding fan behaviour and racism but glad to see Patel and her hypocrisy getting told by Mings this morning. Footballers appearing to be better role models than our politicians is where we're at.
  6. The problem of living in a society with a top down hierarchical structure is if the folk at the top don't give a fuck about the rest of society then it only works for them. Compound that with having an economic system that we serve, rather than it serving us, with the basic "greed is good" philosophy and our inability to have honest conversations about any of it, then to be honest nothing short sighted or short term selfish people do surprises me at all.
  7. We all have our opinions on how the team should be set up. Football Manager has ruined countless relationships since the 90s 😅...but I won't second guess the manager who finally got an England team to play together. I'd say the future, and the World Cup looks bright 🙂
  8. I'm afraid of hurting mine if I stress it too much, still have flashbacks from my last one dying 😅
  9. Seeing Gareth let his emotions go in front of the crowd was one of those moments eh. A competent decent man who puts our politicians to shame. A team that was getting booed by a section of its own fans at the start of the tournament kept me up to the early hours of the morning with all the fireworks going off and people roaming the streets cheering every time they met other people roaming the streets cheering. Can imagine the scenes to come on Sunday 🥳😅
  10. New Order were the first band a teenage me left London to go and watch. They played the GMex in Manchester with Happy Mondays and Gary Clail as support acts. No Maradona in the Denmark football team tonight @GazzaGarratt so I think I'm OK to go with this one🙂
  11. I was hoping for Potter or Howe, but I'd have taken Parker too. Now let's see what the squad will look like...
  12. Something to note about the league races. There will be limited time to practice on race night and qualifying will begin at 8.30pm. So pre-practice is advised. Also, who will be keeping note of the race stats and league table for the team championship? I'm assuming either @jordie1892 or @Mikepjbell but let's confirm now so we're prepared. I did the last season one and it's not a lot of work other than remembering to record the race results 🙃
  13. I hate the "It's coming home" song, drives me up the wall...but I've always taken it as a hopeful 'coming home to the place that invented the game and exported it to the world' type thing rather than anything arrogant about it. New Order FTW always anyway🙂
  14. I may well pick this up, I'll certainly do some research into it. RB6 is a great game but the gadget meta games don't interest me. This looks more up my street, cheers👍
  15. Spain are a wonderful team on the ball but toothless in front of goal. Great goal by Chiesa. Italy haven't lost a match under Mancini in two years. Big game first, Denmark versus England and Kasper saying its never been home might help provide some extra motivation for the lads 🙂
  16. We have MPs who say they won't even be wearing masks on public transport because 'freedom'. Fucking cunts🙂
  17. I'm alright with Nuno but we'll see after the first couple of games how it goes. We do have some youngsters that I'd like to see involved in the 1st team and if Nuni encourages that then I'll be happy. Dane Scarlett in particular. Would also like to see Sessegnon get a go now he has returned from a successful spell in Germany.
  18. It's surprising how off putting it actually is. It's weird, if you press the Xbox button on the pad it brings up a mini UI which is much better.
  19. Happy birthday @Plumbers Crack And @jordie1892 too Great weekend to celebrate another milestone and hopefully a week to remember a long time 🥳🥳🥳🥳😘😘😘😘
  20. 3 was the only one I've tried on PC and I managed 4 hours before quitting.
  21. Probably one of my favourite posts all year ^ 😅
  22. I hope not. Reasons. 1. It's EA 2. EA killed Dead Space 3. The original is available and is still good. 4. Whatever happens it will be shit because EA are behind it. 5. Dead Space loot mechanics here we come 😅
  23. The more the merrier 🤗
