  1. Quite an overwhelming game in terms of hardcore survival, it would blow @Diddums mind. You have to look at not just food and water but your weight, minerals, sodium etc If you play as a male, you have to decide how big your dick is (and I'm not telling what reference this has to your overall statsπŸ˜…). It's hardcore with a capital fuck off H. So, with an update out soon its nice timing to find DevilDog video just released today.
  2. Don't know what it is about Limmy but his very dry humour, mixed with his belligerence just cracks me up πŸ˜…
  3. Apparently the update to Lorville is amazing. They seem to be picking up the pace lately with the game. Good to see.
  4. Shooting on console is poor, so think I'll stick to PC. I suspect, looking at all the reviews, I won't be playing it very long 😁
  5. Most Steam reviews seem to be by people who have played the game 0.7 hours, so completely pointless and useless. The YouTube reviewers are panning it too. My experience on PC so far has been pretty bug free. It does 4K medium settings at 60fps fine for me. That wasn't intentional but how it ran before I realised. I changed the settings to 1440p medium and was getting 80fps on average. Playing on standard difficulty, Dusk, I believe it's called, the enemies so far have been weak, so I may turn it up. Movement and shooting is fine, similar to Prey. Too early to say what I think of the game but I'll play some more this evening and see how it goes.
  6. I played for an hour on the Xbox, I'm intrigued enough that I've now started downloading on my PC too. Want to see how it feels with kb & mouse.
  7. Indeed, it's a few years ago now that Bethesda stopped allowing people to review their games in advance of launch. Not suspect at all πŸ˜… But I'll give it a go and see how it plays!
  8. Let them play football, better that than turning them into killing machines πŸ€—
  9. But other than that, it played well. Should probably switch off matching with kb&m players and I found I was getting wrecked in mid to long distance exchanges while getting used to the recoil control. If we plan to play any more I'll need to get some practice in with a controller. It's a massive shame there's no crossplay with PS4.
  10. I was struggling a little bit, I'm not used to playing BF with a controller so much and I find it difficult to concentrate in a group chat. Nothing to do with the pair of wankers @Diddums and @Macca89 constantly reminding me of the football team I support, all fucking night πŸ˜…πŸ˜πŸ™ˆ
  11. Can't believe they still have that problem. They surely must be aware of how off-putting it is to new players trying to figure out how the hell to play the game πŸ™ˆ
  12. I've not checked the full ins and outs but the UK regulator the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) said: "Activision is intertwined through different markets - it can't be separated for the UK. So this decision blocks the deal from happening globally."
  13. Lol at Microsoft though, chucking their toys out the pram. Saying today this is going to hurt Britsin and they're going to focus more on business with the EU. Oh well, seems you boys were greasing up the wrong palms πŸ˜… They're appealing, but does look like this merger is dead and buried.
  14. Yeah, kind of puts things at Spurs into perspective, we're upset at not getting in Champions league and not because we're near relegation zone or in financial trouble. But still, will be interesting to see what happens tonight...
  15. Sweet, I'll jump on around 8ish and see what's what and who's about πŸ™‚
  16. Not quite my teenage years, but I got a record player when I was 10/11 years old and this was the first 7inch I bought for it πŸ™‚
  17. If it makes Bobby poorer then I won't shed a tear. I wonder how much money etc Sony promised in bribes, because the reason is complete bullshit πŸ˜…
  18. The Many-Headed Hydra: The Hidden History of the Revolutionary Atlantic by Marcus Rediker A very interesting read from a couple bottom up type historians, the ones who write history from the perspective of the common people. I've just started, so we'll see if I find anything to critique. The dangers of working in a bookshop on Sundays means I get access to a lot of sci fi, politics, history and more, and from academics rather than some loudmouth on YouTube. It's great. Particularly when we live in a world where some supposedly civilised nations like to ban books these days. It's easier to ban books than guns I suppose 🫑
  19. It's a good game and I quite enjoy it solo, the combat and movement, for me, are far superior to Density but totally agree that it seems very, indeed overly, complicated to the new player.
  20. Yep, I have it installed on PC and PS5. Maybe tomorrow if you fancy? A few others have it as well, so maybe we can squad up.
  21. I suppose you have to applaud the audacity. The gaming industry, much like the energy industry has been raking in money into the billions, profit-wise, in recent times but its people at the bottom asking to be paid a little more that cause inflation. Lol.
  22. I don't think anyone can manage the ParisShitGermaine monstrosity. Poch at Chelsea, with a ridiculous amount of top class players to choose from, I can't see him failing personally. It would be like a dagger in the gut to us Spuds and Levy knows it. If we lose Kane as well, it will be an interesting summer...
  23. Yeah, with Stellini gone now too we're left with Mason running the team. We'll probably end up with that English geezer coaching a French team cos he's good at Football Manager πŸ˜πŸ˜…
