  1. All the big boys are having their own events it seems. I don't care about E3 but would like to see some new IPs or footage of games that I'm waiting to play.
  2. A word from Steve
  3. So, had a quick go at lunchtime and yes, the driving has changed for certain. I've had to change my TC to 2 for Gr.3 races. Driving feels less arcadey and requires a little more skill. For this week's daily race A, in the SambaBus I'm currently 306 in the world 😅
  4. As its a PlayStation thread I won't labour this point too much but I do see a much better line up this year on the Xbox side of things. My two most awaited games, Starfield and Stalker 2 will be via Xbox gamepass, although most likely on my PC...
  5. This launch was very janky, possibly the worst and most buggiest they've ever dropped. The introduction of persistence definitely had an impact on the database. Running much better now but a patch is due shortly to fix what else needs fixing.
  6. I usually try out the new daily races each week to see what laptime I can get. Sometimes on a Monday lunchtime I'm in the top 1000 but that doesn't last long 😅 Yeah I know sweet FA about tuning and have no desire to do so with an game engine that clearly needs tweaking.
  7. Very strange offering. But then last month offered up BF2042 and I don't know if anyone bothered with that either 🙃 PS5 has been out a good while now and i must say, other than shorter loading times and a better controller, I'm seriously underwhelmed.
  8. The last bit silverware after a good run of cups in each decade, the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and noughties lol but nothing for 15 years but bread and water 🙈😢
  9. In 2008 I bought my first Xbox 360 second hand from CEX, although I think they had a different name then. With it, i picked up Cod 4, Fallout 3, Mass Effect and Bioshock and I still remember my excitement.
  10. Worth having a word with @Diddums too, he's an excellent guide for newbies in my experience 🙂
  11. I hate international football but watched the first half against Italy and thought it was an excellent performance that could have produced more goals. I knew they wouldn't sustain that in the second half but an away win against a very hard to beat side turns out to be one of the best England results in years. Declan Rice could be a quality player if he uses his brain a little more, he was superb imo.
  12. Best CoD since Blops 2 for me. I don't play it enough to give a fuck about the rest. But yeah, let's keep the bullshit out of these conversations otherwise the thread gets nuked. There's enough nastiness on social media without bringing it into our little community🙂
  13. I'd just stick to PS5, the loading times last night on PS4 were ridiculous. Honestly does my nut in 😅
  14. I look forward to playing in in a year or so, it does look decent, but still not paying full price for a game I've already played to death.
  15. Yep, they have form for getting done in Europe by goals from the halfway line. Shame though, I was hoping they'd get to the final.
  16. A video I watched last showed a very good looking game but the combat looked a bit weak. I've not seen the video above but will check it out 👍
  17. Happy birthday to you as well and don't listen to Lee, rage away 👊 Have a good 'un 🥳🍻👏😘🙂
  18. I see that @Diddums has survived another year of planet mental, congrats sir, happy birthday, get wrecked 🤗🍻🫡🥳😍
  19. I'd get behind GTA V race nights and shenanigans for sure, just not sure how many picked up the PS5 version when it was free...
  20. I had a wisdom tooth out a couple of years ago, horror story, so I won't scare you by relaying it here 😅
  21. It looks shite to be honest, is it the same team that made that crappy on rails Rambo game? Not trying to be a twat, but they could make a fantastic game with this IP, and what I see here does not inspire much hope.
