  1. Loved the book. Not an easy one to tackle on screen. The mini series did a decent job of it. I just have this memory as a 15 year old reading the book and coming across the bit about the folk who had cabin fever and ended up al dead with their dicks nailed to the walls. I don't think 'clown' when I recall IT, I think penis nailed to a cabin wall. Betcha that bit won't feature[emoji5] Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  2. I'd been delaying playing MP until some of the more glaring bugs are ironed out. I've now also done the tutorial and agree. Warframe does the jumping and dashing much better and I also wish there was an FOV slider. The single player currently has me hooked but i'm up for MP this week for sure!
  3. I jumped onto this again last night, there's been a 4GB update and thought I'd just have one or two rounds. A couple of mates (one of them Aitchy who was on the forum briefly) who I used to play DayZ with joined me in a squad and we played a few hours in the end. This game is seiously addictive. It helps that you can get back in a new game really quickly after dying. The game starts with 100 players in an aircraft flying over some islands and each player decides when to jump out and parachute to the ground. When you land there's limited time to find weapons, ammo, armour, backpack, first aid etc before a circle appears on the map and a message saying if you're not in the circle you've 2 minutes to get yourself there. If you're outside the circle you lose health rapidly. Over the course if the round the circle contracts at various and more frequent stages until there's a tiny area in the map with half a dozen players left shooting it out until there's a winner. There are vehicles, land and sea which are pretty easy to drive. Best weapons to find are a shotty when looting houses in towns snd villages and an AKM with a decent scope for longer range encounters. I've only died so far from snipers in the latter stages of the round though we managed second place on one occasion last night. Can play solo games, doubles games and squad games. Game is clearly still in development. Still rubber banding on occasion but it still plays pretty well for me. Heats up the GPU though
  4. Awesome Lee
  5. Not played MP yet...only done the tutorial for it so far. I need to be able to adjust FOV. Plus Warframe does the jumping and ninja stuff much better. I'm loving the single player campaign however.
  6. Non alcoholic is tea for me. Strong and sweet, just like my ego. Alcohol is Stella Artois. I'll fucking fight any cunt who looks at my pint the wrong way.
  7. Xbox Live provides a better service, I don't think it's a lot to ask for Sony to up their game. But I have to say Lee that it sounds to me that what you're really saying is that next generation you're going to get a PC
  8. I'd love to play you at Mario Tennis... just for that statement alone
  9. I got Red Dead Redemption for free with Xbox live. In fact a lot of awesome games for free. Playstation Plus leaves a lot to be desired
  10. I agree with Lee, this was awesone
  11. I loved my Nintendo 64 and had to get that extra bit to allow me to play Perfect Dark. Goldeneye was - for a long time - the best game I ever played. Very dated now I know. Right at the end of its life developers were making games that pushed it further than anyone thought possible. Play Excitebike and you'll know what I mean.
  12. Twat, I need a partner to keep me company as I cower in a bedroom waiting for the circle to get smaller Don't blame you though, it's been pretty stable for me apart from the occasional difficulty going through a doorway, that's when rubber banding is at it's most annoying
  13. I've had this for ages, it's like a decent version of For Hono(u)r
  14. Hope the new one is decent too!
  15. When playing this on the N64 with mates, can't remember which version of MM but think it was 3, I'd laugh so much I'd wet myself a little.
  16. Awesome game...I miss decent tennis games. Smash Tennis on the SNES was also top notch.
  17. Never played a Atarcraft game but i'll certainly look into it!
  18. Looks like a blast...I may have to get some practice in though
  19. My game (according to online tracking) was delivered on Thursday and I got my copy Saturday afternoon. It mysteriously appeared by my front door. I've only played the single player campaign so far. Going to let them bugs gets smashed before I jump into MP. I'm really enjoying it. So far. I'll give a proper verdict and review once I've played a decent amount of hours.
  20. Every time I have a round of this I have to go and take a break. For my nerves. Not since the early days of the DayZ mod have my hands shook as much playing a game. There's 90 or so players at the start and I've made it to 4th place as my best result so far. As soon as you die it's game over. You can jump straight into another game but I tend to go and have a 'lie down'
  21. Good stuff Rich. Craft as much as possible. Make loads of arrows and then crossbow bolts. Levelling up skills is essential. I went for 100% on scavenger early on to get access to decent loot.
  22. There's now a sub forum for 7 Days Lee. Seeing as you set it up i assume the weekend started early round yours You find schematics in care packages, bookcases, and sometimes in tree stumps! Get them all.
  23. Game is a bit laggy but overall awesome. James, let's hook up for co-op!
  24. A lot of folk (me included) have been playing H1Z1 the past couple of weeks. Purely in preparation forBattlegrounds and as of today never to be played again
  25. So yeah. I knocked off work at lunch time today expecting to find ME: Andromeda waiting for me when I arrived home. Got home, no game. Checked online. Delivered to a neighbour. Checked the ones that are at home, no game. Checked Steam and saw that Battlegrounds was about to go live on Early Access. 8.97GB currently installing. £26.99
