  1. Everything is about appealing to the casuals, and there are many untapped markets capitalists love to pursue.
  2. We used to have a thread on here and a WhatsApp group I think.
  3. All the scumbags going to play in Saudi Arabia make me laugh. Especially the likes of Henderson who has made a big thing in the past pretending to care about LGBTQ. Money can buy peace of mind I suppose.
  4. Personally i think our time can be used better by caring for each other. Looking after the young and the elderly, for example. Humans like a challenge and we have 'imagination', so we would always be up to something interesting. Right now we're wage slaves and we've been persuaded our only only value is in our labour. That's fucked up imo Most people have latent creativity and skills they never get to develop because putting food on the table and paying the bills takes a lot of energy. I'm more afraid of the world we live in today than an AI future.
  5. This and CyberPunk are my main go to games at the moment. I've done 20 hours on ZeroS now and very happy I picked it up. I've moved onto the hard mode and it's even more brutal, which I like and dislike in equal measure 😁🙃
  6. I have a Steam key for the first one, I should really try that out first. For a 3rd person game to entice me it needs to be very decent...
  7. Start by purchasing Gr.3 and Gr.4 then Gr.2 Most races actually involve BOP balance of performance and and tuning isn't allowed in those races. We do the odd PP tuned race but mostly focus on BOP and Gr.3 is the most used category. To earn money I do the Le Mans 30 minute race which starts at 500k prize money and goes up to around 850k with clean race bonus. Most Gr.3 and Gr.4 cars cost around 300k Good luck on the track 🙂
  8. Harry Kane saga is annoying, but hey ho that's the usual Tottenham transfer window. Looks like he's off but if so I hope this is ASAP. The women's World Cup is in full swing now. I drew South Korea in my work sweepstake and they play Columbia tomorrow 🙂
  9. Shame they can't delete their toxic work environment and sex pest management as easily 🤔
  10. I'm out on Saturday unfortunately but you're definitely in good hands with Elliott 🙂
  11. If you, or anyone else wants a copy of the player manual I have it on PDF, just give me a shout. It's very helpful.
  12. @GazzaGarratt is this Ashley Phillips decent? Looks like the mighty Spurs are nabbing him.
  13. @Middle Class Caveman is a very decent DM, or was so in the little Cthulhu game we had. He had to cope with the cosmic madness also known as @Diddums I'll be up for a game but until autumn I'm busy a lot of evenings so not sure about anything more than that. I've played DnD, Warhammer, Call of Cthulhu and Paranoia mostly but I've never DMd personally and having a good DM is very important imo
  14. Nothing will ever beat Pro Evolution on the PS2, PES 10 years ago came close but I've not played a football game anywhere near Pro Evo master league in terms of fun, even with the stupid player names it had. It's all style over substance, which I couldn't give a monkeys about, yet too many people do, and will accept any old shit if it's painted right. Much like the real world🥳
  15. One of the few things in life that can stress me out is cooking. Multi tasking is tricky sometimes lol so I always play music pretty loud and I find dancing while I'm cooking makes it a much more enjoyable experience. A good skank is usually best as I obviously can't dance to save my life...but today I was in the mood for some Iggy. I saw him in the 90s when I was a teenager, and he was ancient then, blows my mind he's still performing. Anyway, not one of his better known songs but good for cooking 🤗
  16. You get a free pass Lee😅
  17. I wouldn't start crying about it just yet. It's just one 'review' from a guy who hasn't played the game and whose whole schtick is "I wish it was the 80s". Never trust someone nostalgic for the 80s 😅
  18. A crappy weekend of weather meant I actually managed to find some time for gaming and I pretty much, other than a bit of PUBG with a friend from the bookshop, played Zero Seivert as much as I could. I am totally addicted to this little game. Its so brutal but every time I die I want to jump straight back in 🙃 Top down Stalker meets Tarkov and I'm loving it.
  19. Nice to see you getting this up and running @Lurchzy and yep, DnD Beyond is definitely the best site to use to set up characters. I take it you're doing 5e DnD? Are you using another site for visual representation of players or not going with that? What campaign are you doing? Who's DM? How many ppl are you expecting or hoping for? I'm in between sessions at the moment but I'll have to check if I can commit! If I think of anything else I'll be back 🙂
  20. Working from home on a Thursday allowed me a quick 40 minutes during lunch break. The time flew by and that's always a good sign. It runs well and I managed to extract without dying. Although I'm doing rookie settings for now until I'm used to the movement, shooting and medicating. Lovely little game.
  21. There are still some out there who think the idea of men admitting to, or discussing mental health is a sign of weakness. It's the opposite. Like has been said above, fair play to Dele and the like for their bravery. It's a tough world for a lot of people for a lot of different reasons and the more we understand and help each other we can at least make our part of it that little bit better. I feel this community is generally pretty good at that or I wouldn't be here. That and getting to have the occasional row 😅
  22. Picked this up yesterday, the pixel games are on fire lately
  23. Personally mate I think it's all moot at this point, we're beyond doing anything now more than mitigating the worst effects. I'm glad I don't have kids.
