    Back down to level 1 I went over the weekend, think I'm up to 3 now. Best thing about a fresh wipe is that no-one is overpowered yet.

    It's amazing how many games I play that rely more on a fast CPU, which is why I've persisted with the 770 for so long. But it's struggling now with games requiring more grunt...and GPU memory in particular as it's only 2gb...and so time to move on. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

    I understand the Ubisoft were treating their partners/contributors/content producers etc to a pretty nice experience. Cyberpunk hype has started to grate on me, it's a long way off yet.

    GPU upgrade

    With graphics cards finally coming back down to a reasonable price, I'm tempted to pick up a 1080ti. I see the Asus - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB STRIX has dropped down to £750. However, I believe Nvidia will be announcing a new card range and new architecture at the end of the summer, so I'm kind of not sure whether to go for it now, or carry on waiting. I love my 770, it has been a beast if a card for 5 years but doesn't cut it on ultra, or even high, with some new games. Any thoughts?

    Salah at the bottom for me. He scored a couple more goals than Kane, but played more games. From midfield that is impressive I admit but he practically plays a sub striker role more than a typical midfielder. The amount of goals they leak is also his responsibility, and last season they let us score 4 in one game. Did nothing in the world cup finals. Finished 4th in premier league. Bottled it in the champions league final. Bale won that game with a bicycle kick and he's not even on the list. Plus he annoyed me his lack of respect to Harry Kane over the phantom goal episode, kept tweeting about it weeks after, so you can see the above is just a bit of prejudice on my part [emoji23] Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

    I said I'd start doing vids at some point so I suppose I should get my arse in gear. It would help if I knew about any particular game folk want to see, or would watch. I thought maybe I could make vids to begin with, of games forumers don't play but would be interested to find out more. Forumers also need to make an effort and watch the content. To that end, I'll start with the games I play most and then games based on feedback. No feedback means no vids. I'll most likely look at the following games for my first vid (but if you have a request, let me know): Hunt: Showdown Arma 3 DayZ Escape From Tarkov Star Citizen I also thought that - as well as doing solo vids - we could do co-ops. Watching some of @Diddums old vids, for example he'd be an excellent partner for anyone. Or the time I played Sea of Thieves with Lee, Lee would be another excellent person to co-op with. Rich and I are playing Raft at the moment, plus Borderlands 2 (which I'm streaming on Twitch) and we'll do something with that footage too.

    Usually there's a back story as to (a) how and who you are in the post apocalypse wasteland and some kind of reason to go out explore the world. In past games they have used vehicles for this such as looking for your father, or looking for your son. it's all RPG, collecting stuff, levelling up skills etc. Plus lots of combat. The most recent Fallout introduced base building. This new one moves from single player to multiplayer. Which is a massive thing for Fallout fans as many don't seem too happy about it. I'm a bit tired of people whinging already. These people need to get a grip. It's a game trying something new. Luddites be Luddites I suppose. Base building will be a big feature of 76 too and I hope they've done a better job than they did Fallout 4. For me, it's all about how well the game is optimised. If it's buggy and has poor network code, that will be bad, and they will suffer the consequences. Too little information right now to form a decent opinion but I'm in the glass half full camp personally.

    Not sure if there's many on this forum looking at Fallout 76 but for me, it;s the only AAA game I'm really looking forward to this year and I just received a message from Vault-Tec "You have successfully redeemed your B.E.T.A. (Break-it Early Test Application) registration code. Additional instructions will be sent to your registered Bethesda.net email address when the B.E.T.A. program is ready to begin." Bethesda has it's own launcher now for PC, I never knew. Beta is in October.

    Sadly not a new S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game (though I believe one is in the works). This is a relatively recent mod overhaul (September 2017) and though it plays outside of Steam, it requires the Call of Pripyat base game installed on Steam. I watched a YouTube vid at the weekend which put me in the mood to try this mod, plus a few others I found on Moddb https://www.moddb.com/mods/call-of-chernobyl Here's the vid that got me going:

    5th edition but I think there maybe a bit of deviation . I shared the link you gave me and they're running with the 5 edition materials from there, but they had a very experienced player join this week and I suspect he has changed or added a few things...
