Promotional poster banned for the up and coming Ninja Turtles movie. 

Paramount have pulled it due to the release on September 11th and the fact it's people jumping out of a burning building. I think it's a ridiculous overreaction in all honesty and I don't see any offence caused. It's just a generic building with human turtles in a pose and the film so happens to be releasing on 9/11. It's not like the explosion was caused by a plane else that would be deemed more inappropriate. Very OTT IMO.

I meant to post this back in April, not sure why I suddenly remembered it today. On the one year anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing, I heard a radio interview with Rene Rancourt talking about how memorable it was to sing the anthem at the first sporting event after that tragedyt. As it turns out, he only needed to get it started.

I share the same feeling, and reading speculation that April will somehow be Splinter's (if Hamato Yoshi is Splinter in this) daughter which would make her the Turtles sister isn't helping matters.
 
Also "We're taking your armor to the next level."  William Fichtner is The Shredder so he's saying that to Oroku Saki? The full cast and crew hasn't been released.

prior to seeing it, i can't place any confidence in this movie based on Megan Fox's involvement alone.  this is coming from a rabid TMNT fan who would've liked to have been optimistic about this . . . but is not, at all.

i was too when it came to the first one, but i have to say i don't regret having watched it a month or so ago.  liked it enough to want to see this one (or at least wait until it's on-demand somewhere).
 
seems like it has to be a huge SFX spectacle in order for a theater ticket to feel worth it to me anymore.  although i think i saw a monkey with an AR riding a horse in that trailer . . . promising.

I kind'a am as well, but looks decent enough to warrant me giving it a go. If nothing else just because they are opening up a brand new MJR theater not even two miles from my house this summer, so gotta have something to give a whirl at the new theater.
