  2. Agreed, genuinely have to take my hat off to Brighton. They keep losing their players to other teams but look where they are. As for Spurs, nice to see one season wonder Harry Kane bag his 200th premier league goal. For a player everyone keeps saying he's going to leave Spurs every season for the last 8 or 9 years its funny how he's ended up scoring 267 goals for us 😉 To be fair, if he jogged off now to a European giant outside England I'd say he deserves it, he's done us proud.

  3. Good result for Spurs this week! Conte will be running down the halls in the hospital after that Kane goal! 😂 Also a good result for the Seagulls! Mitoma is looking fantastic at the moment. Can't wait to sell him for another 40+mill profit 😂 I don't know how Brighton's scouts keep doing it!

  4. Pretty ironic seeing that Mark Rubin was the one that took away everything people enjoyed about golden age COD and gave us Ghosts instead with fish AI being his proudest achievement🤣 Anyhow, I'm glad the game is still in development and hasn't been yet another cancellation from Ubisoft. I'm really not sure if the brand is strong enough to capture a decent audience though and no matter how much people hate COD, they will always play that over games that offer a far better experience because it's cawl of dooty and they enjoy being screwed year in year out. Too many of these classic-style FPS games have failed already though and Ubisoft's internal IP's aren't as popular as they think they are to form a game like this. I just hope they can strike while the iron is hot because MW2 is literally edging towards life support on a 2 year cycle and people aren't shying away from shunning games. A good alternative is desperately needed.

  6. I think that's just one of those situations... I wouldn't blame the EFL on this occasion. If you don't have you paperwork in order, no matter how small the errors, it shouldn't be accepted. It is however a shame because it would've been good to see these young players get some good championship playing time!

  7. Unfortunately I highly doubt serious action will be taken. Although I am interested in what caused this action to be taken, what rules were broken?

  8. I want to agree with you but this isn't a Sunday League team, I just wouldn't expect these mistakes from a Championship Team. I do however think it's a massive shame that the league can't just highlight the mistakes to amend before/ or after the Transfer window close to help both parties.

    Hell Let Loose

So thanks to the generosity of FG's FGF, I claimed HLL from the store. I wasn't sure what to expect with performance, I do remember trying it out during a free weekend and ultimately giving up due to performance. To my surprise this game is running pretty decently now, feels more optimised for sure. I can't make it look graphically pretty but it's playable for most of the time. Frames do drop in more built up areas but due to the slow style of game, it's manageable. It's a lot of fun, I do still struggle with communicating, I have my mic ready to go, but finding the commitment of talking difficult to overcome.

  10. Yep. The tweet by Mark Rubin and follow up tweets were him basically saying that they have seen what COD fans hate about recent Cods so they've purposely added or removed what they do/don't like. They're targeting players that are sick of Activision not listening to fan feedback.

  11. Just basically making things like how Cod used to be. Before they changed all those aspects in recent Cods. Sounds appealing, touché.

  12. A wholeheartedly agree - the only point i'd make is that everything in life should have a level of common sense lens on it. The fields asked weren't critical to the deal so I'd say in these instances they should review the forms and make it clear what is absolutely needed for next time. Loved seeing that yesterday, for all that England fans and other teams say that he's not World Class, I just frankly disagree. No other top English striker has matched his record across multiple years whilst he's been around.

  13. Watch them get a £500,000 fine and a 1pt deduction suspended for a year Manchester City charged with breaking financial rules by Premier League - BBC Sport WWW.BBC.CO.UK The Premier League charges Manchester City with more than 100 breaches of its financial rules following a four-year investigation. Be interesting to see if the EPL and UEFA actually follow through or if they will let them get away with cheating for more than a decade. Only the Italian FA have the balls to take severe action against their own top teams.

  14. Good reviews coming in and currently 86 on Metacritic. Looks like it will live up to the huge interest it generated which is fantastic!

  15. Newish video about this game. I think it looks quite decent. Also Mark Rubin - head of the development team and former IW lead - had this to say: Features I would have if I were making a MP FPS. - No SBMM in Casual Play - Ranked Mode - Lobbies that stay together - Red Dots on Minimap - Map Voting Just to name a few. *hint - I am making that game. Which all sounds good.

    DMZ Tips Thread

Got a tip for Capturing 3 SAM sites at the same time for the Air Supremacy mission, when capturing a SAM site you don't have to fully capture it but any progress which you make towards capturing it will remain. I just completed this mission solo, I 99'd 3 SAM sites then drove past all 3 and did the final activation of them. Also got a tip for completing the Pathfinder mission, if you fail to extract the GPS after you have made it around all POI's you don't need to drive the GPS around them all again you can just go and pickup the GPS from the dead drop and go straight for an extract.

  18. We made an absolute balls up of the Transfe deadline day. We were looking to get 2 deals in really late, and we missed the 11pm deadline. Rovers fans were quite acromonius online and whilst there is definitely blame internally, the information on why the EFL rejected our paperwork on the 2 deals just before 11pm is quite laughable really. Lewis O'brien has an agent with the surname Sharpe. Apparently we wrote Sharp instead. The other deal for a up and coming star at Rochdale, the lad unfortunately didn't tick the 'White and British' boxes on your background. When we submitted updated forms it was past 11pm. For once, if this is absolutely the reasons, even though the EFL have never accepted an appeal on late paperwork, I would like to see some precedent set to these deals. Whats really sad is that O'Brien is now out of the squad officially at Nottingham Forest so he can't play for the next 6 months which I find unacceptable considering this is his job and livelihood. Fwiw, I think this is a good watch to explain in front of the camera from a Director of Football.

Yep, basically people are boycotting the game who weren't going to get it anyway🤣 There's gonna be people seething on Twitter tonight after this game has reviewed well so I can't wait to see that

  21. EA also cancelled Apex Legends single player last week so the chances of us getting a new Titanfall is also dead in the water. A new Battlefield wont be here until 2025 and there's more chance of Black Ops Cold War getting more content this year than Modern Warfare 2. It's such a shame publishers wont commission FPS games much these days due to competitors yet competition is what this industry needs.

  22. I agree we need more challengers to enter the gaming market against the bigger players. Although, its clearly not that easy as we've seen the past 10 years nearly all of them fail. Only one that has had the closest FPS gameplay and feel to breaking them is/was Titanfall/Apex Legends. Apex does alright, but hasn't evolved much since launch. Actually makes you realise how games like CoD and Destiny still do extremely well. Even Halo now is going down the pan somewhat. This looks more of a competitor against Counter Strike for PC imo. Definitely looks decent and a market could be there for the next MLG FPS given CoD isn't doing very well in that category. In fact it looks like it wants to take some of Overwatch's competitive league off them more so than the casual playerbase.

  23. It doesn't need too many changes imo - The Friends and Group pages need the overhaul mostly. I wouldn't have said no to an easier way to show camo and challenges on an independent page too. Other stuff is pretty easy to get around tbh.

    Tom Clancy's XDefiant

Just literally typing the same thing, it would be nice to see something challenge CoD. I don't expect anything will, Bf2042 really missed at least a decent opportunity and Titanfall failed.

A lack of a decent alternative is why Activision just keep doing what they want. They know people will buy COD no matter what.

Good to know. Hopefully no one tries to capture it after doing all the work. I was think the only was to have a squad member at 3 different sites and co-ordinate the capture.

  31. The sign of gaming times will definitely mean people move on quicker. Its interesting the stats though. What I see on the Steam one above is that it shows a larger than normal playerbase initially and what they did was gorge content extremely quick, which the hours played shows. I'll die on my iceberg hill by admitting that Battle Royale is a great addition to games, but it is just one game mode after all. I think those stats also show that 6v6 multiplayer is either played by ultimate hardcore MLGers (Counter-Strike) or casual core players like all of us. Players are making the BR games the next MLG scene, or at least trying to do that. Warzone imo, wasn't built to be able to compete with them. Not yet anyway. Its like the casual core version of the hardcore games, so you will always get more random from time to time. Its why casuals get drawn to it because higher unpredictability means more chances of winning a BR match. It would be interesting at some point if we found all the 5v5, 6v6 FPS Multiplayer games and stacked their stats alongside each other. I see Overwatch 2 is not on there at all, completely free too. I'm probably concluding I don't think these figures dictate if CoD has landed well or not. I listen and see many of us playing CoD way more than we ever have and that I believe its not just coincidence.

  38. How many options did people have in 2011? Now we have COD, Fortnite, Apex, overwatch, PUG, destiny and Grand theftb that I can think of. All of which compete for the same players/dollars. Look at steam and they are constantly at the top. Battlefield and Halo don't even show up. The first COD game came out 20 years ago. everything considered I would say they are doing pretty well. How many other games from their generation are still around and have players playing them Why do you think that Sony is fighting so hard to prevent MS from purchasing activision. If the player counts were this bad why would the care.

  40. That looks cool as hell. I'm definitely getting this one as I've loved the movies but its great to see it has its own storyline topped up with great graphics....and that combat in the first video you shared James looks pretty sick, ngl. Lets hope these Quests have good depth to them too as on first looks they seem pretty solid.

Lots of very positive feedback so far - not sure if it's my cuppa tea as I'm not a Harry Potter fan but it looks like they've done a very good job. If it scores well then I very well may grab it regardless Some great environment and detail gameplay

  42. They've milked his name from the grave and pretty much ruined all the franchises its attached in recent years. The franchises it should be attached to like Splinter Cell are nowhere to be seen and it beggars believe why it's been branded with XDefiant. We will probably never know why they've done this - maybe it's a set in stone deal, perhaps the devs are morons or maybe Clancy's estate are demanding it but it just doesn't fit. This is a generic hip shooter aimed at the skin generation yet Tom Clancy is an writer of espionage, war and action thrillers! Doesn't make sense. It's only a matter of time they attach his name to Assassin's Creed and The Crew.
