Kind of a douche bag moment but I am quite ok with it Spawn in with randoms by the airport. We do a few contracts successfully and things are going well. Team mates gets killed in a hard area. I get ride a bunch of enemies and one get me in the back while I am resurecting that team mate. 3rd team mate kills remaining AI and decide the look at my loot and take my insured weapon and then resurects me. So I think, don't get mad get even. I wait time and as we are make our way to extract he gets downed. Perfect. I wait until he dies. Take my insured gun back (taq-56) and steal his insured gun, his 3 plat vest and his kill streak. I then revive him and he is pissed. He is shooting me with the AK that I dropped. Trying to get my attention and I ignore him We get to extract and call it in. An enemy team is there and pushing. I get rid of a riot shielder. i was lucky to have a drill charge. I get rid of a regular guy. The Taq-56 with 3 plates was no match for him. 3rd had kill the guy who stole my gun but decide to run away. Other guy is on the helo. So I left the thief and we extracted without him. Made sure to tell him not to steal team mates stuff. On a positive note, found out that if someone picks up your insured weapon and then you pick it up again it becomes a contraband item. So its a way to create an extra "slot" at the end of the day if you want to have additional access to that weapon

Vaznev SMG is Gold. Moved on to MX9 and Hurricane SMGs on the way next. Started Chimera AR too but doesn't feel like that will be a long one at all as its nice to shoot as stock straight away. EBR-14 is a slow camo grind alongside the FTAC. Like you all, I struggle with it too so only use it every now and again to keep the camo grind going on it.

Out in a couple of weeks and looks pretty interesting. Quite like the look of the mechanics with its mix of melee and gun plus the overall fluidity. The game is also reminiscent of many classics we used to get in the PS2/OG Xbox era. Way more appealing than these generic/safe titles that have come out in recent years with bland cover elements or The Division-type basic shooting.

Yeah the lobby disbanding after each match is to optimise the next match for skill level. (sbmm) If you tear it up in the previous match they can then throw you in with the CDL/TTV Twitch streamers and semi pros. If you do horribly they might throw you a bone and give you a chance. Heavy manipulation going on behind the scenes. My KDR is kinda trashed playing a lot of Shipment. I have a 420 average score per minute so the lobbies can get a bit rough. 😬

yeah this is 100% on point! I’ve seen YT videos (thunder) mentioning skill based hit reg and you hate to go all conspiracy theory but my experience does make you think! As you say, you go on these streaks and then nothing, you can’t kill a thing…all in the same game

Sam sites will shoot down the enemy commander helo, I guess its obvious but I hadn't really thought about it so think its worth a share. I discovered this by accident when going for the capture 5 supply drops mission.

For the squad hunt contracts, you don't have to actually kill that squad personally. As long as they go down you get the credit For the black mouse mission, you don't have to extract with the weapon from the squad hunt. As long as you extract with an enemy weapon you will get the credit for the mission

The point that a lot of these YouTubers are making is that DKOldies claim they clean and/or refurbish the consoles which justifies their 3X cost price compared to rivals and the general market, yet in many cases including normal customers, there is huge evidence that they do not always do this and in some, the machines are internally damaged on top. They make all these TikTok's showing the utmost care and attention to these alleged orders yet what people receive and the way it's delivered is literally taking the piss. YouTuber's can burn money on things like this for videos but if you were a normal person that spent $450 on a classic Xbox that was delivered in a bashed up box with the console protected by bog roll and the machine wasn't cleaned or even tested, then you'd feel very hard done by, bordering on scammed. There's not many places you can buy machines safely, especially with places that offer a comprehensive 'specialist' service and guarantee so when they start half-arsing it or not doing things by their book and charging triple, it's kinda sad.

Hola. I've been focussing on getting everything gold then will be onto the drudgery that is the platinum challeneges. It's going well aside from having to get funky stuff like hip fire kills/point blank kills etc, playing shipment was an absolute nightmare, I'm not sure if it's just the sweats who play that mode but my god I was going from 0.4-0.7 for 7 straight games and my lobbies were not getting any easier (Was waiting for SBMM to kick in but it never did) so had to take a break. Using a camo tracker I am at 41% done, AR/SMG/BR/LMG are all gold, I've got some marskman rifles done, and need a double weapon xp weekend to level up pistols, snipers and shotguns

10 year anniversary coming up so I will have to have another crack. Had it on the 360 and got the Steam version too.

It reminds me I need to go and give Metal Gear Rising Revengance some time, as I have it, but barely played it.

Having spent a good few hours on it today I found that I enjoyed it more than the reviews would suggest I should have. I have also just realised it is a bigger review than I had intended so apologies and dont worry if you dont fancy reading it all 🙂 To respond to James’ last post first, watching a demo is never going to be the same experience as playing the demo or full game experience. I have never understood how anyone can really appreciate a game by watching someone else’s playthrough :S I will agree there are a few flew expletives but when you play through the actual story you begin to see why as it stems from the characters background growing up. It’s not as clear cut as being edgy for the sake of it but trying to create a character. My thoughts on the game so far (will break down into categories) - Characters - The main protagonist is not going to be memorable. She does a job but she is never going to be a Cloud or a Sora. She just fills a role. 5/10 for the lead character, there are some side characters though that I think are better. Gameplay - For me this is seemingly more of a let down than I thought it would be. The world traversal is great, the combat seems a little clunky though. You can see the souls like game influence on this with some of the bosses which is quite cool and some of the monsters are pretty creative. 6.5/10 Plot - When I said there are souls like elements this does apply to some of the lore as well, there are a lot of items to pick up that then give you a bit of info to read on the world. I have never been keen on that sort of thing as I like to just get on and play the game. The storyline I think I can already fathom where its going, I hope there are some twists, there are some elements that have been done before but I do think the storyline has potential so a 7/10 there with the potential for it to finish higher. Reading a couple of reviews earlier today the storyline does not get rated highly but considering the review keys came out so late I don’t know how anyone would have completed the game to really say for certain. Sound - I picked up a new headset the other day and I am glad I did because the audio is pretty great 🙂 They seem to hit the right notes and it feels a bit Final Fantasy esque for it. So would give it 8/10 Visuals - This for me was always my main focus for this game, I wanted to see what the ps5 could be capable graphically. On this I think it delivers, the game looks fantastic, the beasts look great and one thing I had noticed is the draw distance seems to be huge (and may be one of the reasons there is so much demand on the machine with the pc version. I would give it a 9/10 (I feel like there is a bit more in the ps5 yet to come. The world - This again seems to have reviewed badly by a lot of reviewers. But this strikes me as a reviewer not paying attention to the game and story as they race through the opening few hours (which is a bit slow mind). The world is lifeless in that there are not towns or cities or people walking about but when you pay attention to the story there is a reason for it. The world itself has a main central hub (populated city) and the world itself is then full of enemies of various varieties. It has a feeling of emptiness but as I say, I feel like its intended rather than they did not complete the game for example. Overall my first impressions are more positive than negative and the game certainly does not deserve the flak it has been receiving (especially from people who have not played it or never intend to, though that seems to be commonplace today which I don’t quite understand. For me its a solid enough game, does it justify the high price tag? Not quite from first experiences. It’s a solid game and I would give it a 7.5/10 thus far. As I say though I am only a handful of hours in (I feel like I am at the point where a lot of reviewers felt they knew enough about the game without really paying attention to what was happening within the game. I.e it has taken me 4 hours but took them 2). Will I enjoy it enough to play through? I suspect so.

I tried to watch Worthabuy's video on this game but wasn't a good use of my time as he clearly went into looking to hate on it. Not very balanced and not very helpful. But he is bit of a miserable old cunt sometimes 🙈 I don't care about the context, or the character's dialogue, I'm getting old and I understand these games aren't made for my demographic. However, from what I've seen it looks a bit janky gameplay-wise so I'll be interested in the thoughts of @Luseth and @Riff Machine if they both play it.

Demo is live now Fair play for them for doing it but I probably wont play it this way. These newer ones were intended for first person so it'll probably seem a bit weird. Certainly looks like a mod from what I've seen of ti but it still works well.

Unrelated to RE4 remake, but for anyone that bought the RE2, 3 and RE7 on PS4, they've released PS5 versions that are a free upgrade. Prettier versions of good games... Except the RE3 remake. Fuck that one. Lol
