We have recession, inflation, a game pass that has been operating at loss from what I have read, a gaming console that hasn't had a massive system seller since the 360 days and a new version of its OS that has abysmal adoption partly because it has many problems and partly because they have locked out of upgrading to it a sizeable portion of pc people because they have to buy a new system in the midst of the aforementioned recession and inflation and with many parts still having crypto boom/scalper prices most people won't just throw to the rubbish their perfectly fine pcs because microsoft said so and because of all this, I am not surprised that they have to lay off people, it's sad that common workers pay again for the incompetence of the higher ups but it is what it is

Basilisk Pistol is gold, I then knocked out all the longshots so all 5 Pistols are Platinum. 🙂

My only suggestion would be to gear before you do something difficult. Get your 3 plate vest and large backpack. Gas mask. Precision airstrike. Revive pistol, Revive kit, Plenty of stims. Once you get going, plates/plates/Plates. Try to get a number of good extraction perk streaks and then go for those missions. Carry in a sniper rifle and a good AR/LMG. I like having a thermal also just to spot people/AI I also tend to avoid cars. They make noise and are visible on the map. I Climb the towers and parachute instead. People seem to rarely look up I do squad up however and assess the squad. If there are newbies without microphones, I don't go for anything difficult and don't risk my gear as much

Finished a few more golds, got the Taq-M and SA-B50 Marksman Rifles done. Only the MK2 Carbine left to do. Also got the P890 Pistol is gold. Just left with the Basilisk and also most of the Snipers.

Yet they have about $100bn+ worth of acquisitions on the table? 343 have been massively affected with 'hundreds' sacked. The Halo franchise is at rock bottom plus their 10 year Infinite that had a $500m budget is dead in the water after less than a year but this is a catastrophic and persistent failure of management and other personnel at the top-end of the company yet the workers are the ones who get the boot. This has been going on for years. Not only that, MS also plague their internal studios and divisions with outsourced contracted staff who usually only have 18 months on the books so they aren't exactly motivated to bolster the company or the products within. If they weren't throwing piles and piles of money around to try and beat Sony and had a forwarding vision post-pandemic, they wouldn't be in such a poor stagnant situation where thousands of innocent people are affected. Give it a couple of years and in-house developers will also get cut off and they will likely say what a tragic deal the Game Pass has been for them and how other companies made much less than if they sold standalone. The old Microsoft is really coming back to the fore and can see them shafting much more down the line.
