    Forspoken

A demo for this popped up during the Game Awards for the PS5, so I gave it a go. The world looks really beautiful and the magical combat is really fun to utilize. There's a "magical parkour" movement system that basically propels you over obstacles while holding the circle button while dashing. It's neat, but you can also scale walls with it by tapping the circle button a few times during a climb. While it looks and plays really well, the style has me taking a pause about whether this will be a day one purchase. I found the dialog to be rather dull and lifeless, and the game is showing the usual troupes of a stealth/action/adventure/open-world/crafting kind of game. I'll be curious to see how this reviews as a lot of similar complaints are being levied by some web sites. time will tell, but I do hope it's a solid game.

    Chained Echoes

I picked this one up on Steam, and after I had bought it, I found out it was also on Game Pass. Anyways, It's a cool looking JRPG that gave me some Chrono Trigger kind of vibes when I first checked out the trailer. I started a new game tonight and they throw a lot of info, gameplay/systems wise, at you right out of the gate. should be an interesting romp if you're into classic JRPGs.

  3. This game is looking really interesting, Particularly the world tour aspect having some decent single player content is really interesting for a fighting game

  5. I would put myself in the same boat as you. I really like fighting games but I'm not very good at them, I would say that I'm better that most of my friends but considerably worse than most people online so finding people to play with can be a bit difficult. I've always enjoyed fighting games since having SF2 on the SNES as a kid, I've attached a list of my current fighting games from Steam. Most recently I've mostly been playing Street Fighter 5 and Guilty Gear Strive, I've got about 30 hours in each of those games. Skull Girls is an interesting game too, with the option of each side picking up to 3 players and the game buffs or nerfs damage caused accordingly really interesting art style also and I can't forget about my all time favourite Killer Instinct. # I've been playing with the Hori Octa controller which is a really interesting fightpad I played a lost of Strive with this one and the 8bitdo Arcade Stick which feels awesome in most games I've played.

  6. Yeah I saw TheXclusiveAce do a video about it. Funny how they never nerfed the Black Rose skin from MW19, or at least for ages. I suppose that was a freebie. I guess if people are going to pay for a bundle with an advantage, they have to take it away to make it not look like P2W. Suck the money from the consumers first then nerf once a large injection of cash comes in. Even if they sold say 5k of them at $20 a pop, that's 100k. Pretty large for 1 bundle and skin. If anything they need to nerf the shop. If they done things a bit cheaper maybe more would buy? I guess some people and content creators are going to buy regardless of the price. Who am I to say? They clearly know what they are doing. 🤭

  7. Nerf now the money is banked Activision to 'nerf' chart-topping Call of Duty skin by making it more visible, with some players seeking refunds | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM The LA Thieves Call of Duty League skin could function as a veritable sneaking suit. Regular as clockwork

  8. Do we have anyone here who plays fighting games? I've dipped on and out over the years, but never tried actually learning due to the difficulty. I recently upgraded my aging Venom PS3/4 arcade stick to SANWA buttons and joystick. I've started playing T7 and yeah I'm a noob who loses 98% of match ups but still trying to learn Asuka and the Korean Back Dash.

  9. I think England were unlucky last night. Started off a bit slow but was persistently robbed by corrupt ref. Didn’t take our chances and the penalty miss was just typical for us. Kept France largely at bay including the overrated Mbappe who the media seem to suck off relentlessly but two quality finishes really undone us. Really not sure where we go from there though as it’s another miserable exit and failure to beat a top 5 side. These refs are absolutely shocking - last night and in the Holland game I haven’t seen anything like it since the old days of FIFA corruption. Defined a first half penalty and the first France goal was a blatant foul on Saka in the build up. He didn’t even want to give our second penalty either!

  10. Lets the Vampire Survivors-like games commence. This one is in early access right now and it's really fucking fun. You have a bit more control over where your character attacks and it has a nice, bright, vibrant graphic style that really rocks. It's not that pricey either and I'd say worth checking out if you're interested.

  11. Well I have finished Snipers and Marksman Rifles to Platinum camo. I may start chipping away with the Battle Rifles or LMGs.
