  1. If it helps at all, last night in the second race every single one of us apart from kiwi followed Greebs off the track and into a bit of off roading 😂😂

  2. In general, with regards release date being pushed back, I'm in favour of that 100% if it means a polished bug free experience. I don't think it's a big deal for consumers other than of course the holiday bookers. Personally, I'm more unhappy about the reports of working practices. Months of crunch? 100 hour weeks? Nopety nope nope. If you're on the cusp of discovering the cure for cancer maybe, but not for a video game. The whole industry is a cesspit of exploitation and abuse, not on the scale of kids working in factories, but its dirty and it takes away my enjoyment of the hobby I use to distract me from the general bullshit of our existence. On a separate note, I hope Watch Dogs Legions take on politics doesn't make me cringe so much I rage and uninstall 😎

  6. Tuesdays nights races were a mixture of frustration (Bathurst) and hilarious (Goodwood) for me. always knew I was going to struggle against @Greboth and his relentless pace on mount panorama especially as I was unfairly handicapped in the first race by having to start at the back 😂 A last minute decision to swap from the GTR to the Viper was borne from needing more speed but at the risk of being very inconsistent. Unfortunately this didn’t payoff at all as I struggled for a rhythm on the circuit in the race and my fastest lap was about 2 secs away from what I knew I could do. Was extremely disappointed in my drive. Goodwood tho was brilliant. Having actual race experience on the circuit was probably a benefit right up to the point where a certain someone wanted to race in E Types *cough* @Greboth *cough* The hilarity of approaching every corner pretty much sideways in a four wheel drift was definitely an eye opener with the threat of getting spat off the circuit and every moment. A couple of dodgy moments and a reset meant a really good race with @Mikepjbell towards the end. more practice needed I think and time to swap to manual gears

    GT Sport - FG Races

I’d still say join Gary, it’s all for fun and while do race there is still the occasional contact and accidents so I wouldn’t worry about it. In my defence, I got up on 2 wheels and as soon as the car got back on all 4 it just snaps and spins me. All you lot just clean drove off the circuit 😆 I saved the replay so will record it from all the angles as it was funny and post it with the proper results and my write up tonight.

Can't deny that this is epic! Although for a fridge that size, where's the freezer side of it!?!

  9. Maybe it'll work work even more so in their favour. Obviously more time will mean a better finished product but more so it dampens a little bit of the hype we've seen which is always good for a game that is potentially the best thing since sliced bread.

  10. For clarification, I wasn’t saying people shouldn’t be frustrated. I was sort of playing a devils advocate and countering the overall negativity to this news. To know you’re going to piss off a lot of your customers and then doing it anyway because it’s the right thing to do - well that deserves some credit. That said, CDPR have monumentally screwed up this launch. Things like this can ruin a company but hopefully that won’t happen here. Though it wouldn’t surprise me to see some heads roll as apparently the employees didn’t know of the delay either until the press release. Which is probably some of the cause of the problem as I’m going to guess that would include whoever ruins CDPR’s social media pages.

  11. I played a few hours of it when it came out. It's a pretty chill game, mostly doing deliveries in the neon city. Cheers, I'll check the video out now👍

  12. Resurrecting this thread from its year long hibernation. After a little taste of the game on Xbox gamepass before it ran out I waited a year for the Steam release and i also bought the dlc pass too. Green Man Haming were selling the game for £21 and I got the dlc pass from Humble Bundle for £18. Nice. It's been optimised even more since I last played from what I can tell. I'm running it with everything on Ultra at 1440p and I'm getting 120 fps. I played a bit over the weekend and I'll try and get as much done as I can before Watch Dogs releases. And then get through as much of that as possible before Cyberpunk releases. Lucky I'm not picking up a PS5 yet as Demon Souls, AC Valhalla, Gran Turismo and more are releasing. Nothing but games as far as the eye can see until the new year and I've not even mentioned COD. I've gone soooooo off topic. Outer Worlds is good, but no Fallout beater, yet. If they get a bigger budget next time round I'd say it needs a better and bigger game world, a graphics upgrade, less annoying side companions, more sophisticated and nuanced character choices and development and AI.
